      Yep. 3 is good too

The first 3 are still solid movies. Mainly because it still has a plot line to follow and doesn't just go from bit to bit.

1 and 3 are the best, 2 was rushed through production and it shows, 4 has ok ideas but it misuses them.

Boomers had funny but dated comedy. Millenials had hit or miss comedy. Zoomers virtually don't know what comedy is, nor have they made an attempt to be funny.

Here's an example of zoomer humour for you.

I blame the internet & meme culture. More or less killed comedy. Everything is a post-ironic adobe edit with a generic sound effect.

          Anonymous

It's painfully unfunny. Just add sound effect to mundane thing.

        Anonymous

That's not zoomer humor, thats autistic Yu-gi-oh humor. The spammed meme sounds is millennial humor that zoomers adpoted and took the the enth degree.
Also decks like that are cancer anyway and I haven't checked in a while but it will probably be banned in any meaningful capacity if it hasn't already.

I blame the internet & meme culture. More or less killed comedy. Everything is a post-ironic adobe edit with a generic sound effect.

I don't get internet humor in general anymore now that we've gone from Millennial dominated internet to zoomer dominated internet. I don't even mean "I get the joke but don't find it funny". I legitimately don't even realize what is supposed to be the joke or normal content.

This is an example of pure Zoomer humor that is incredibly popular, even here on Cinemaphile and I just don't get it.

It's 20 edited pictures every second, post-post-post-post-post irony.

Maybe I'm just too old for this shit but I feel bad for zoomers growing up now, they probably don't even know what proper humor is anymore.

My zoomer nephew will show me TikToks and I literally don't understand them. Even some Instagram reels make no sense to me.

          Anonymous

That isnt supposed to be funny.
          Amusing/clever =/= funny.

The problem is you jever understood what humor actually is to begin with.
This type of content is what zoomers make and consume because humor isnt allowed anymore.

Humor is "two israelites walk into a bar". Thats racist and israelitephobic. So instead the humor is derived from your own pre-existing knowledge about stereotypes that are hinted at, but never touched.

Because we now live in an age where speech isnt actually free.

I liked all the scary movies. Some better than others, but at the very least, all watchable. EXCEPT 5. Holy god I never expected it to be that bad. It took me several days to get through it because I kept turning it off because it was so bad.

      Anonymous

It took me a few years to watch 5 too. I ended up laughing a few times by the end, though.
Scary Movie 1-4 and Superhero Movie were all great

      Anonymous

      5 feels very Epic/Disaster/Date movie.
The good thing about the Scary Movie franchise (And Dance Flick) is that despite the constant references and toilet humor, there is an actual plot to follow and not just random scenes stitched together like a Frankenstein monster.
