Nobody watched this garbage except homosexuals and women back then.

    Same thing with Seinfeld.

Ross is the funniest friend by a huge margin. Don't know why everyone likes Chandler's quips so much.

If you find any part of this pathetic joke of a show even slightly funny you need to both beg me for forgiveness and frick off forever, fricking homosexual.

Probably people who only remember the early seasons. Ross only becomes funny after his second divorce which happens in early season 5.

Yes and that’s when Chandler’s character goes to shit because he starts dating Monica

Chandler’s humor has aged like milk. Both Joey and Ross are infinitely funnier on rewatch.

I don't usually laugh but I find the dynamics calming. The whole group acts like an adult family. It's sort of gay but in a good way

Unagi was one of the best moments of the show. No idea why Friends makes poser alphas so butthurt.

It definitely has some stuff that would make some Twitter users pissed if it was released in current year.

Carol and Susan was always depicted with respect though. Even Chandler's dad was shown to be a good person and Chandler's embarrassment of him was played as being unfair, the lesson being to look beyond his appearance which was a typical moral of the 90s. The jokes around him were more about people not knowing how to react or address him.

You're right, but you know any jokes on behalf of these people, no matter how lighthearted, will be considered an act of war. Especially about trannies.

The lesbian wedding episode literally has a pro gay marriage speech, this is 1995
          Friends was 90's woke
But anon is right it is still "based" by current Hollywood standards

I recently bought a Friends board game from the dollar store to see if there were any good pictures of Aniston in it, and one of the cards had a picture of Rachel and Phoebe sitting on top of Ross and the caption is "SAY WE ARE UNAGI"
