if my family ever comes to visit me im going to use the "welcome to the beast" line as we cross the border but no one ever comes
im white but i fled the us since its in Black person collapse
also if im being honest, i repeat the "welcome to the beast" to myself and my wife all the time. its just a fun thing to say while driving in mejico
you went to mexico to escape Black folk? you know maine or wyoming exists right?
That's not een the line, it goes:
>There she is, Juarez.
>The beast.
And then, as they see the headless corpses hanging from the overpass, Alejandro says:
>Welcome to JJuarez
Get it right homes
Spending 30 seconds in a /gif/ rekt thread made me scared as frick of Mexico
>spending any time in /gif/
i bet you post those homosexual little fligu gigu gifs in there
Shit must be really bad in South America for South Americans to risk getting carved up and raped by the cartel, only to get shot in the hospital in America and then have their kids shot in school. Just wtf is going on to want to go to North America?
sicario is nothing compared to the counselor
the counselor is the scariest movie i've ever seen
its also one of the most moronic. but the cartel stuff legit freaks me out because i know they don't play that shit
too bad cormac mccarthys screenplay career ended because it got trashed
i found this unwatchable
counselor is the one of the worst good movies I've ever seen
thats exactly how i rank it. or one of the best bad movies ive ever seen. i think ridley scott was wrong for the movie and that everyone was trying too hard because they saw oscar bait (hence why it got rushed into production after no country)
one of the hardest laughs ive ever had in a movie is when brad pitt says regarding 'doing drug deals in money' "..... that can come with a whole range of complications." or whatever
it feels like it should be really good but it just kind of... isn't?
worst best for me though, almost every part of it is well done but it just doesn't work when put together imo
because of ridley. he wasnt right for the movie. it feels like hes trying to make some kind of mystical-suspense, but he lacks the subtlety necessary
The hunter monologue by Cameron Diaz at the end is cheesy as frick and further proves that Cormac McCarthy's literary style is difficult to transcribe into a film.

inb4 reddit, it's the best source for up to date cartel shit
The movie is actually tame in comparison to what these fricks do in reality. Look up funky town and ghost rider on that sub if you have a strong stomach. It's also freaky when you see someone get decapitated while alive and the dude doing it finishes in 15 seconds flat.
>the dude doing it finishes in 15 seconds flat.
practice makes perfect, i guess
Sicario is one of the few movies that makes you root for the glowies.
zetas
cds
cjng
look these cartels up
I fricking hate how you putos think we're all drug dealers I wish my parents had never brought me to this pendejo country
I'm sorry friend, pls don't skin me
kayate
you're not all drug dealers
but depending where in mexico it's debatable whether cops or cartels maintain the rule of law
chapo's son gets arrested and the city becomes a warzone with cartel trucks running around with 50 caliber machine guns in the back
We hate your parents too.
No one asked you to be here.
You're free to go back anytime
>bad hombre!
Imagine actually being a wetback lmao
no Hispanic talks like this
One thing movies about cartels are guilty of is portraying them as an elite and professional fighting force. I guess this stems from the story of how the Zetas were founded but if you watch videos nowadays 99% of them look like airsoft cosplayers. Whenever the "elite" cartel teams go against Mexican marines for example they get absolutely decimated. There are probably a very small number of guys in each cartel that are still receiving training from retired SOF but the vast majority of them are dumb, high, sociopathic kids.
cartel crackhead ls get btfo by fat Mexican cops with handguns. they are dangerous because they set up ambushes and because Mexican citizens are disarmed cattle who have no defense against them
so then why doesn't the mexican government crush them ?
they are basically an insurgency. it's like asking why the US Army didn't defeat the taliban
insurgency is hard to fight off and all the top guys have friends in the government
Money and systematic corruption. The big cartels generate tens of billions in revenue per year. You can bet a portion of that is going to politicians, police, military etc at every level.
What
says is also true, but at the very least the government could be dealing a lot more damage to them than they are.
same
If you ever go to Mexico. Mexico will make you scared as frick of Mexico.
it's pretty obviously stylized, FBI and the Mexican police getting into a shootout in the middle of a highway, lol.
>EY RIGG
>U CAN'T PROTEC 'ER
>FROM ME
Latinx are based
I liked it.
>those giant fake blood splashes
stop believing in movies you dumb Black person homosexual. cartels are sort of like blm and antifa having a gang war between each other. cops dont really do much about it unless it gets crazy but but also your chances of getting got are pretty low if youre not involved in anything and not stupid.
im not defending them and my greatest wish would be to be allowed to own guns to defend myself but i would basically be in the same situation in the us which has cities with similar violent crime levels
yea. the cops and military (the non-totally corrupt ones) see it as not wanting to stir the hornets nest i believe. like how the us uses kid gloves with Black folk
why would i believe you when i have heard from people that have gone back and say that cartels tax everyone that makes money
you may be clinically moronic
>but also your chances of getting got are pretty low if youre not involved in anything and not stupid.
how do you not get involved in anything stupid when you're broke af and your family's moronic?
dont go to public/family gatherings paco
ive ran into a cartel roadblock when they blocked every major road of the city and effectively isolated it from the country for a few hours
the have a lot of money and use it for corruption and there are also just a lot of them with even some citizen support. its also like in the us were you see the Black person on the corner whos obviously selling drugs but cops dont do anything about it. you can be driving around and notice cartel lookouts who stand on corners with a phone in their hand but no one really does anything about it
how do you not get kidnapped and ransomed
Tamaulipas?
I work in Jalisco in a small town and this is true. The army and the national guard comes pretty often but they never do anything even when you can ask a random child and find immediately the local narco
My friend was abducted in South America. He has no family really and after he told them they basically tossed him back into the street. He told the police and they didn't give a frick. He hasn't travelled since and went to therapy because they threatened to cut off his fingers and shit.
>went to therapy because they threatened to cut off his fingers and shit.
genuinely curious as to how they help someone cope with this.
I would fully support drone striking the cartels if not for the fact any American military action would get congress to bring in millions of refugees
I've always wanted a movie where the US gets carte blanche to send in CAG and Devgru to wreck havoc in Mexico so I was near creaming my pants during Sicario 2 but it just ended up being a wet fricking fart.
with the way the us won in vietnam and afghanistan, im sure they will kick ass and take names in mexico hollywood movie style
what mexico needs is and actual right to arms and a hard core media campaign to turn people against the cartel and support the government
imo there is a big difference in competency between the NVA/Taliban and cartels.
>a hard core media campaign to turn people against the cartel and support the government
here bro just support the government that threw you overboard 30 frickin years ago. you're only up against sociopathic savages that skin people alive and cut off their heads.
it's not going to happen. there will be no uprising of the populace. the government is too incompetent and corrupt as well.
its not abbot and uprising you dumb Black person, its the people wont even report literal cartel assassins to the cops in the same way Black folk dont snitch on murderous Black folk in Black person town usa
its also not about whos more skill vs the taliban or whatever fricknuts, its that its an insurgency. who the frick are you going to shoot? where? where are you going to find them? whos going to show them to you? how are you going to identify corrupt politicians and cops/military and what are you going to do with them when you do? what is the fallout from that going to be with the general population? this is why the us is a 3rd world joke now, you have Black person brains
its not a hot war, its more to do with politics and economics

cartel driving loaded up in Phoenix
There's a documentary on Netflix about avocados, it's terrifying. The avocado industry is basically controlled by paramilitary organization with a militarized city. What the frick is wrong with Mexicans.
