Imagine if a cursed videotape made a little girl crawl out of whatever TV you had, wherever you were, no matter how isolated and away from other people you were. Wouldn't that be fricked up?
>cute girl comes out of my tv >this is supposed to be scary
That's just what I wish would happen every time I watch a movie.
Would it be possible to frick the ring girl? Is there any way, in universe, that such a thing could be done?
NOOO SCARY GHOST GIRL WITH PORCELAIN WHITE SKIN AND JET BLACK HAIR DONT HAUNT ME BY COMING OUT OF MY TV LATE AT NIGHT AND MAKING ASMR NOISES AT ME WHILE HALF NAKED NOOOOO NOOOOO ANYTHING BUT THAT NOOOO!!!!!

So what's the point of spooky japanese television woman? I know the books go hard into sci-fi craziness but what's her dreams, goals and motivations? Just to be spooky?
Japanese horrors are the only one that manage to be creepy, for whatever reason. I have no idea how can someone be spooked by stuff like Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th etc.
No. It's not.
Aside from the dissapointing monsters From is the only frightening peice of media.
Bad characters take away some of the scare though. The expendables get more empathy than the main cast. The sense there is no safety at night is done well. Monsters toying with people. The threat feels real. You can put yourself in their position, where inaction isn't safe.
As usual with a series it devolves from the concept to social drama.
Which does the opposite of it's intention. Gives a disconnect as nobody interacts believably or appreciably.
yeah it's pretty gud

Unironically, yes, it would.
The american remake was good
She canonically has a penis
The american remake was better, lmao. also
>imblying that ever stopped me
>She canonically has a penis
Take your troony/futa fetish somewhere else.
It's not a fetish. It's in the second ring book and the first sequel to the ring, spiral. Sadako is a hermaphrodite
So more fun for me then.
(You) gay.
Not true actually, she has a vegana and balls in the book, no penis
Is it like in Bible Black where the futa-penis only comes out when it's needed to frick a b***h up?
i don't have a tv. haven't had one since 05
you’re a goddamn liar
Video tape delivers asian women into your home
Not THAT kind. Holy shit frick THAT.
>frick THAT
I wish I could
I watched it free with ads on Youtube and an ad played during the tape scene.
Truly a distopian wasteland we are living in

>only kino j-horror remake in your path
>Is that a little girl that needs a haircut? AHHHHH
Never got this shit. Japs are so bad at horror that some mid movie gets overrrated.
I'd frick that girl so hard if she came out of the TV she'd forget about her grudge
So what's the point of spooky japanese television woman? I know the books go hard into sci-fi craziness but what's her dreams, goals and motivations? Just to be spooky?
She wanted people to know what happened to her and spread her curse.
Videotape was the way to go in the 90s.
Doesn't people figure this shit out after the first book or movie? She just keeps going anyway?
You need to copy it and make someone watch it.
They are literally doing what she wants them to.
There is a certain charm about the Japanese horro movies from that period, like Ringu, Ju-On, Kairo, that makes them terribly scary to my eyes
>Here's that terrible japanese ghost woman I was telling you about, senpai.
Fricking spine chilling.
The ghost woman from the Korean horror movie, Cello, is way hotter
>Black nails and sexy mascara
AAAAA IM LOSING MY MIND
What's her schtick? Haunted cello?
I can't tell you it would ruin like three twists for you, it's actually a pretty decent movie. But no, it's not a haunted cello
>terrifying
Zoomer word. I had to filter it out from youtube because all the zoomzoom clickbait vids have that word in the title.
t. tryhard zoomer

.
Couldn't you not get killed just be not being in a room with a TV?
No. It's not.

TLDR watch From. Not fricking jokes from japan.
