It’s drive. With guns.
I don't see it. Also Drive at least got some impactful violence.
That's not a very high bar though. I almost want to say it's like a shitty straight to VHS/DVD movie back in the day. Gosling was good but Evans felt like he was miscast or trying to hard or something. I just hope Terminal List isn't another meme.
terminal list isn't a meme it is certified kino
it/'s not a high bar but netflix have sufficiently lowered my expectations at this point. if this had two no name actors in it i'd have switched off after 5mins
evans isn't really a convincing badguy
Has he ever played a bad guy before?
not that i've seen
he was the antagonist in knives out, understandable if you forgot everything about that flick though
Scott Pilgrim
The ice cream serial killer in Iceman
Here you go broski:
Evans had excellent comedic timing for weird movies, like this and Not another teen movie. Shame he doesn't do that anymore
he was a bit of an butthole on Sunshine
gosling and evans = star power, that was enough for me, even though yes it was kind of shitty. it's no terminal list but equally it's better than most of the garbage original programming netflix has been making recently plus no woke shit
They tied a lot of German Philosophy and Greek Mythology into it. So I enjoyed it.
Schopenhauer. Will to power. Suffering. Sisyphus, Ubermensch. The labyrinth/maze is the tyrannical father/God that must be killed(God is dead). He even rescues a princess from a castle.
Hansen is the Schopenhauer interpretation of will that derives it's meaning from suffering. Where Six is the Overman, the will to power, the ubermensch, like Sisyphus deriving meaning from the overcoming of suffering.
At least they tried..anons..it wasn't awful.
It was awful. Just trying isn't enough.
This reads like a Jordan Peterson tweet
>admitting to using twitter
ye
>gets stabbed
>gets shot
>gets punched
>doesn't react to any of it
woah he's literally me...
moron. moron. this film was based as frick and approached kino during several sequences. your pathological inability to appreciate a delightful treat when placed before you is truly sickening. you likely also have equally moronic opinions on RRR, the batman, and stranger things. go do what you love (i.e. posting a hand selfie [black, possibly quadroon] of your disney funko pop collection to r/movies) instead of lowering the already abyssal quality of posts on this website.
>its Gray Mannin time!
I thought it was very good
really don't see why the russos get so much praise just because they directed some capeshit
It was a bit shit because the plot and characters were exceedingly shallow which leaves us only with action scenes, which weren't anything special. I can't even say the acting was all that good because I couldn't take any of the villain's seriously, especially Chris Evans, and Goose was just played his aloof loner with a spice of snark, which works well in his artsy movies but is just wooden in something like this.
This movie is the kind if shit I'd except playing in the background of FX while I'm busy doing literally anything else.
>which weren't anything special
That's putting it mildly. I burst out laughing several times because of how shit some moments were.
Netflix sucks but the movie itself was an unabashed action flick with the expected outlandish scenario. Dialogue/bantz was well-written, so the movie accomplishes what it aimed at in terms of entertainment.
this
it's the midwit meme, they don't know what genre movies are
He was gray in both appearances and demeanor
I recommend the book series. Full of tacticool action, well written and it dives into the CIA world and espionage and more.
Wtf...my future wife just handed Goose a fricking squirt gun.
>This was a bit shit
A bit? No, its a whole lot shit. Terrible fricking movie. Pathetic, an insult to movies
It was fine. Reminded me of The Man From U.N.C.L.E. Probably didn't need such a large budget but the girl was cute and Evans was not nearly as bad as Cinemaphile is saying.
>filtered by goose kino
many such cases
it's tailormade for chinese audiences
China wouldn't like what one of the later books does so if they plan to make sequels they really would have to tailor it.
It wasn't great, but you talk like a homosexual and your criticisms are vague and moronic. You don't know shit about how movies are made.
>200MM action movie
>durr muh quips
>durr shallow characters
what did you morons expect, of course its gonna be all normie bait
action movie
Weird grandmas keep posting here about budgets and box office. Stop it.
