>no wokeness >promotes masculine brotherhood and family >/k/ tier gunporn
my only complaint is that they dropped the schizo stuff after too episodes, other than that it was 10/10
The only wokeness in the show is the excessive amount of women in conspicuous roles in male-dominated fields, including one in a field with literally zero women. But the women act like 80s women if you can imagine that so it's about as pozzed as those were.
This was incredibly compellingly written, but what really impressed me was that I couldn't believe how not-woke this was. No Black person with a white wife. No transsexual normalization. No wise black woman guiding the white guy to do the right thing. Literally not a single homosexual in the entire show.
Must be because Chris Pratt was exec. producer. No wonder reddit is in a hate-craze over this: we're not supposed to have good stories that aren't pozzed in their neg-hole anymore.
Why are Amazon prime shills so fricking obvious. Every reacher thread. Every thread for this show so far. They said reacher wasnt woke. Yet it turned out to be woke. And when confronted they just say "well that doesnt really count". Kill all amazon prime shills.
It's post like these that convince to watch a show. Not the threads of people telling me it's Kino. If a show triggers gays like this, then i know it's worth watching.

You're right, that guy was clearly not Chinese. They should have cast someone with Chinese or Taiwanese heritage. Hell, even a Korean probably would have worked, but Nip is totally unbelievable as Chinese. Nice catch!
>Black person
Racists like you are why we can't have nice things. No actor, studio, streaming service wants to be associated with "no Black folk allowed". Do everyone a favor and just shut the frick up. Jesus.
Pratt looks like how I picture every middle age american. Tall, chubby, beard, never takes off his baseball cap, always positive and in good spirits, met his girlfriend at the local church and greets his new neighbors with an apple pie
>ties a guys hands and puts them above him >pulls out pic related and guts him >pulls out intensities and nails it above him with tomahawk >pulls out knife waving it close to his head >cuts his hands free making him collapse pulling out his guts more >picks him and makes him WALK pulling his guts out even more >he dies
name a more kino revenge killing
>there is no second
There is, in the very next episode. But I guess you think that a revenge story with a schizo should have a moral compass character who keeps harping "Reece no, if you do the bad thing to the bad dude you will become the bad dude" in it.
adults don't have those, unless maybe they're thrown into wildly new situations, like hero's journey or whatever. this is obviously not that and it would be moronic to include that shit.
Holy shit. A true plebbitor in the wild. You're the soul of every fricking party, right?
And you obviously wear those homosexual pins with homosexual flag, while proudly dilating.
Nah. The show was enjoyable if youre into operator kino, but Pratt will always be a goofy Starlord for me. Kitsch would have been much better as the lead. Hes got that raw rage and much more emotional range.
I didn't like the ending with the guy being that guy, it felt unnecessary, and the whole show was too desaturated, you can make a dark moody show without it being greyscale.
Otherwise, breddy gud.
>and the whole show was too desaturated, you can make a dark moody show without it being greyscale
That pissed me off several times. I was watching it mid-day with the sun coming in from the side and that's almost never noticeable in my living room, but some of these scenes were so desaturated it was getting hard to see what was going on. Mid-day scenes with the sun out and everyone standing in the open and it's so dark it looks like they were going for that low-budget effect where they film night stuff during the day and just desaturate it to pass it off as night. Not saying that's what their intent was, just that that's how it looked, it was ridiculous.
first few episodes were good, but it slowed down and became so formulaic it was entirely predicable "oh let's kill the nobody sicario hitman instead of the billionaire so he has more time to see us coming".
>TTL and Reacher are woke and pozzed
Looks like autists kept sperging so hard those words have now lost their meaning. morons would call Terminator 2 woke and pozzed if it came out now since there is a strong wamen who don't need no man and the only scientist is a black dude.
Reacher was extremely pozzed and not the least bit ashamed about it, complete with tedious lampshaded scenes of Reacher getting thrown the idiot ball just so that the woman could come and save his life from a situation where he should be in no danger and then lecture him about how misogynistic it was to try to protect her, or how all the white people are evil and all the black people are wise old advisors, hammering you over the head with it with cartoony scenes like the black and white cops, lots of other shit I don't remember the specifics too clearly right now because I haven't seen it since it came out, but it's, again, EXTREMELY pozzed.
This was not. It was only very, very mildly pozzed.
>lecture him about how misogynistic it was
She was a coping womanlet with a chip on her shoulder who shut up real quick when Reacher told her that she cared about her. >all the white people are evil
Ok >all the black people are wise old advisors
Ah yes, the tragic fall of Picard, the wise old advisor. >I haven't seen it
Yes, we can tell
Half the anons that use this board don't watch whatever it is they're flinging shit at, I saw reacher a few weeks ago and couldn't find anything woke about it like all the spergs were claiming for weeks when it first came out, low effort baitposting is a favorite pastime here it seems
I really like the show except the asian reporter. Too overused of a plotline with the helping reporter uncovering the corruption and her screaming scene in the last episode was cringe as hell.
8/10
Of all the leaps in the show, this doesn't even make the top 10 in terms of absurdity.
Do guys really enjoy this kind of shit? I watched Red October a while back, and it's just so fricking absurd with Baldwin doing the perfect things at the perfect time and if he made any mistakes or decided against suicide missions the whole thing would've gone up in smoke.
I get that the protagonist has to be the perfect American hero, but these things all go too far.
thanks for your input, xXaryanMan1488Xx. I'm sure you ran your hands through your bright blonde hair and winked at your super fit and equally moronic wife before you woke up and posted this.
Watching final ep right now. I do like how he uses his tomahawk for CQB kills, and now I actually want to read the books to learn more about the universe. Like what's Raife Hasting's deal? Other than being a Team member hes not actually seen
Book gay, Raife Hastings is Reese's bro from college. Raife and his family are from South Africa. Specifically Rhodesia. None of that Zimbabwe shit. They meet playing Rugby at Montana State or some shit. Both love hunting, America, the outdoors, and military shit as opposed to all the liberal gays running around. Naturally they bro out hunting and drinking. They graduate and both go into the SEAL teams.
Raife and his family are loaded now but came to the country with nothing. Worked their way up and are one of the richest families in Montana.
Nice. Thanks for that. Does he actually join Reece in later ops or is it just left at that? I obviously thought Ben was the John Clark to Reece's Jack Ryan
Frick yeah he does. Book 2 is a lot of flashbacks to them in college and in Rhodesia working on Riafe's uncles ranch/game preserve. Book 3 is them hunting this Russian intelligence guy. Kind of takes a step back in 4 and 5 but he's still around. His whole family is cool. I'd love a spinoff type thing that just Raifes family in SA before they came to America.
>Book 2 is a lot of flashbacks to them in college and in Rhodesia working on Riafe's uncles ranch/game preserve. Book 3 is them hunting this Russian intelligence guy.
My bad.
The second one is about Russian paramilitary targeting Rafe and his family.
Fellow book anon.. who do you cast as Raife and his dad? Wife and I can't figure it out. I was thinking Kurt Russel as his dad if he can do the accent, but can't think of shit for Raife.

I'm not that into it. I've read tons since reading it, so I honestly don't know.

Ah. I've always been a mainly non-fiction guy but for whatever reason this shit just grabbed and stuck with me.
do any civilians, police, non-bad military, etc. get caught in the crossfire in the book? it got to be a little corny. thought they were going to explore the whole "going too far" angle - but he never really did.
also, after he fell off the mountain and bounced off the rock (wtf) - the show wasn't as good.
Nothing explicit jumps to mind. You have shit in later books where people are killed when bad dudes are targeting Reese, but nothing where he's wantonly smoking civilians in the crossfire. He's not blowing shit up like a madman in every book either. He likes precision weapons. Custom AR15s, bolt action rifles. Shit like that.
Is that realistic? I don't know. I'd like to think if someone had the level of training and experience that Reese is supposed to, then people are only dying when you want them to. But again, after this its more targeted shit. He's not waging war in civilian filled streets.
I'm on episode 2 of this. I cannot stand unreliable narrators and gaslighting. Yes or no. Is Reese crazy? I'm not wasting anymore time on this if by the end they pull some bullshit where he was killer all along.
i couldnt see anything was too dark
i thought this too. only watched ep1, but most of the cave part and almost everything in his house was too dark to see what was happening
I third this. I had to frick with my TV just to make sure I wasn't crazy.
>no wokeness
>promotes masculine brotherhood and family
>/k/ tier gunporn
my only complaint is that they dropped the schizo stuff after too episodes, other than that it was 10/10
>no wokeness
lol every single fricking time somebody says this about a show it turns out to be wokefest
I don't believe any of you gays at this point
The only wokeness in the show is the excessive amount of women in conspicuous roles in male-dominated fields, including one in a field with literally zero women. But the women act like 80s women if you can imagine that so it's about as pozzed as those were.
They also turned the reporter chick into an aging asian.
I would take her to pound town
Book reporter was hot and white.
I would take her to pound town too
Can I join that town? It seems pretty awesome, if everyone is allowed to have fun there. I like fun.
As long as the Asian is female, it's okay to me. We don't need more white women
Why are Amazon prime shills so fricking obvious. Every reacher thread. Every thread for this show so far. They said reacher wasnt woke. Yet it turned out to be woke. And when confronted they just say "well that doesnt really count". Kill all amazon prime shills.
It's some Cinemaphile tier shit. I still enjoyed it though
>new show comes out
>people like it and want to talk about it
PAID SHILL PAID SHILL PAID SHILL
are you guys actually this moronic?
>reacher was too woke
Just ignore the Black person lady lol
It's post like these that convince to watch a show. Not the threads of people telling me it's Kino. If a show triggers gays like this, then i know it's worth watching.
>tells Chris Pratt where he plans to go into hidding
Was Ben moronic?
Series was pretty shit though. Not unwatchable, but cheesy forgettable schlock
That's like every television show ever.
He maybe wanted to get caught
This was incredibly compellingly written, but what really impressed me was that I couldn't believe how not-woke this was. No Black person with a white wife. No transsexual normalization. No wise black woman guiding the white guy to do the right thing. Literally not a single homosexual in the entire show.
Must be because Chris Pratt was exec. producer. No wonder reddit is in a hate-craze over this: we're not supposed to have good stories that aren't pozzed in their neg-hole anymore.
what about the asian reporter, her husband with a white woman wife?
You're right, that guy was clearly not Chinese. They should have cast someone with Chinese or Taiwanese heritage. Hell, even a Korean probably would have worked, but Nip is totally unbelievable as Chinese. Nice catch!
>Black person
Racists like you are why we can't have nice things. No actor, studio, streaming service wants to be associated with "no Black folk allowed". Do everyone a favor and just shut the frick up. Jesus.
>Obvious seething Black person
that anon is black, that's what black people call each other
So it's like Reacher... I'll be watching then
>He thinks reacher isn't woke and pozzed
The main character is literally a liberal
good God this has to be the most obvious paid shill post on this board in the history of time.
Pratt looks like how I picture every middle age american. Tall, chubby, beard, never takes off his baseball cap, always positive and in good spirits, met his girlfriend at the local church and greets his new neighbors with an apple pie
>ep 2
>gun kink outta nowhere
>choking, gagging noises and everything
Sometimes my random fetishes are satisfied.
In episode 4 he rips a guys intestines out and nails it to a post. That scene produces some quality ASMR.
Nice. I can't articulate why I love this show. It's got the same feel as Signal, that Korean show based on Frequency.
Wait, my response to this shit isn’t in this thread… You shilling le hard, OP.
Anyway, remains the same:
Frick Bezos.
Bezos had been gone for about two years.
Is it mature for cool serious adults like myself? Chris Pratt seems like a PG-13 type goof
its more mature cool & serious then most the pratt stuff
>ties a guys hands and puts them above him
>pulls out pic related and guts him
>pulls out intensities and nails it above him with tomahawk
>pulls out knife waving it close to his head
>cuts his hands free making him collapse pulling out his guts more
>picks him and makes him WALK pulling his guts out even more
>he dies
name a more kino revenge killing
cringe. there is no second in which the morality and methods used are actually debated. which makes it a series for morons
please be my gf
I have a vegana
I could tell from your post my love
thats the worst part of revenge narratives, but there's still several albeit short conversations about that
>there is no second
There is, in the very next episode. But I guess you think that a revenge story with a schizo should have a moral compass character who keeps harping "Reece no, if you do the bad thing to the bad dude you will become the bad dude" in it.
no. about personal growth, his journey if you will. there is nothing there.
adults don't have those, unless maybe they're thrown into wildly new situations, like hero's journey or whatever. this is obviously not that and it would be moronic to include that shit.
what are you talking about. because there is no heroes journey the story falls flat is completely empty.
>personal growth, his journey
Like what, after losing his family and brothers in arms to a MIC conspiracy, former SEAL James Reece learns to forgive?
maybe that his actions isnt what his wife would have wanted. endless possibilities.
That's pretty gay.
perfect for you
His wife wanted steady paycheck and chad wiener, not moralgayging.
Holy shit. A true plebbitor in the wild. You're the soul of every fricking party, right?
And you obviously wear those homosexual pins with homosexual flag, while proudly dilating.
Seemed like that was survivable though, and he just passed out from the pain.
>muh 10 sec. gutting is an ultimate kino revenge
Americans are so unimaginative.
not everything needs to be a black metal album. Blood lust is blood lust
Nah. The show was enjoyable if youre into operator kino, but Pratt will always be a goofy Starlord for me. Kitsch would have been much better as the lead. Hes got that raw rage and much more emotional range.

that's ok. the girl was blond, white and showed breasts
agreed, all that shit killed reacher for me

reacher sucked
couldnt have put it better myself

>except the asian reporter
Was supposed to be a white qt the main character wifes up.
She was horrible.
I wouldn't have killed Ben, he was trying to make up for his mistakes and clearly actually felt guilty about it
he was on the list
plus the money. they could've split it and partied.
So convenient how he was friends with that wealthy Mexican guy that has his own mercenary force.
Of all the leaps in the show, this doesn't even make the top 10 in terms of absurdity.

I'm 15 seconds into the first episode when does it get good? I haven't seen a single super hero yet.

it was absolute trash. Amazon shills need to gtfo
LOL!
Lmao and you circumcised golems just gobble this shit up, Jesus Christ.
thanks for your input, xXaryanMan1488Xx. I'm sure you ran your hands through your bright blonde hair and winked at your super fit and equally moronic wife before you woke up and posted this.

Sounds badass. Well I'm hopeful for a greenlit S2 then
Wait does James Reece actually survive long enough for future books/series? I thought he was on his last legs with the cancer...

The really dumbed down HRT in this. Those dudes train with Delta Force after all
it was good, haven't read the books so I can't be certain but I'm not getting enough details and military jargon from it like pic related
I am enjoying it
Paul Woodrugh is kill
too bad. he played the "closest ally" role great IMO
Explain this disparity Cinemaphile
Mindboggling.
do any civilians, police, non-bad military, etc. get caught in the crossfire in the book? it got to be a little corny. thought they were going to explore the whole "going too far" angle - but he never really did.

Is his default role a former millitary dad force back into action?
I'm on episode 2 of this. I cannot stand unreliable narrators and gaslighting. Yes or no. Is Reese crazy? I'm not wasting anymore time on this if by the end they pull some bullshit where he was killer all along.
no
thanks. The show is doing a great job at keeping things ambiguous but that shit ain't my cup of tea. I'm here for operator revenge.
>I'm here for operator revenge.
It's literally just that.
>I'm here for operator revenge
came to the right place
>Is Reese crazy?
No
good show, amazon seems to be churning out dadkino for some reason
>show is named terminal list
>not only is the cancer not terminal, Pratt is going to live for years saving the world
kek, garbage writing
