A scene like this happens in literally none of those films. Predator doesn't even have female nudity!

Maybe you don't understand what's wrong with this scene. It's not that a man is nude. It's that a man is stripped nude against his will and it's played for laughs.

I meant to say Predator 2

            Anon, it's forced nudity.

Forced nudity eh? Yeah, thats a hard one. The only one I can think off on the spot is the second Fantastic Four movie, where Jessica Biel's character ends up nude:

              >Jessica Biel's character ends up nude:
the only time jessica biel is naked (but you can't see anything) is the shower scene in blade, a kind forced because it doesn't make sense

                >a kind forced because it doesn't make sense
Whether nude scenes are unnecessary (and thereby 'forced') is different to what happened in Thor. He was forced nude, as a character made uncomfortable, his female companions did nothing but ogled him, and the film treats the whole thing it as a joke.

As said by others in the thread, if you made it Valkyrie or Jane in his place there would be large numbers of people outraged about her clothes being forced off. That's why people bring this scene up: you have people who say nothing about it happening to a male character but we all know those people would complain if it happened to a female one.

moronic argument. The point is that the people complaining about female objectification are fine with male objectification. It's obvious hypocrisy and should be called out.

If male objectification isn't a problem then neither is female objectification. Whether people decide objectification is good or bad, there should be consistency. While you're saying dumb shit, the people you think of as "the pussies who actually care about that shit" are making their voices heard and getting what they want, removing female objectification from film and television. Docile morons like you would sit back and let other people dictate the rules to you and have no idea it was happening until it was too late.

                Anonymous

The whole concept of "objectification" doesn't even make any sense. Just because you see someone in the nude doesn't mean they're suddenly an object.

To clarify btw he gets angry in a comical way. It's 100% played for laughs. After a few shots of various women getting wet and Jane and Valkyrie going ooh baby Thor argues with Zeus until he gets his clothes back (and then all the women look disappointed).

Female bodies are portrayed as desirable and beautiful, but men are never portrayed that way. Either you know full well what OP is asking and your post is bait or you are just moronic. If Portman was in Hemsworth's place for that scene it would not have been played as a joke. Many people would be calling the film problematic and trying to cancel it if it was Portman's character was being forced nude. I don't really have a problem with it being male or female in that scene but, it is either okay for both male and female or not okay for both male and female.

The problem with conservatives is that they see liberal positions as being in good faith. Everyone intuitively knows me and women are different and seen differently, but the conservative just assumes the premise of men and women being interchangable constructs is true and attacks liberals for not following what they say. Liberals don't believe it, though. It's just will to power. You are a meat puppet to them and they just make sounds st you that they believe will make you act in a certain predictable way.

This is why conservatives are the unwitting rear guard of liberalism, and why conservatives should be replaced with Nazis.

I can think of examples of accidental female nudity in movies that's played for laughs, but it's still not comparable to the example in Thor L&T. You'd probably have to go back to like French or Italian sex comedies from the 70s/80s to find anything equivalent.

That's the key issue here. The woke crowd have double standards. They should be taking issue with what happened to Thor and they would if it happened to woman.

Kinda, still purely accidental though. The tone is completely different from the scene in Thor. There are still movies with ENF scenes these days, though they're not very common, and it's not really equivalent to what happens in Thor.
