Just propaganda about how Jane is a better Thor
?
Jane was almost always weaker than Thor here
yeah everyone is being moronic, regardless of whether or not you thought the film was bad, FosThor being "MAry Sue stronk womyn!" being a factor is total bullshit.
>FosThor
Stop trying to make that happen. She's Whor here and always will be.
>Stop trying to make that happen. She's Whor here and always will be.
it was a comedy movie because despite all the fellating they did to her in and out of movie she fricking died
Den wai ees shee ded??
I liked this movie. Thor wasn't a pathetic weakling like in Ragnarok, the fight scenes are some of the best in the MCU, loads of other pantheons introduced and Thor is treated like an actual god finally, Gorr was awesome, and the Thor/Jane romance was surprisingly wholesome.
Jane wasn't being the stereotypical arrogant strong woman, she was flustered around Thor, pushed herself because she wanted to do something great before she dies, and wasn't shown to be stronger than Thor himself in any way, actually a bit weaker which does make sense.
The downsides are the overall comedy and how many characters like the gods of omnipotent city almost seemed like parodies. Zeus was cool and shown to be cold and intelligent, but still had a slapstick moment of wearing a skirt.
And the movie seriously needed an extra 30 minutes. Gorr needed more time.
I don't think this movie needed an extra 30 minutes, it just needed to be edited better. There were so many useless scenes.
The original cut was about 4 hours long. It needed to be at least 2 and a half hours.
Basically they fricked up Thor material so bad they leaned hard on making Thor a goof/comedy lead after Ragnarok
Instead of making a Gorr movie and a FemThor movie separately, they combined both into one and the result was shit. also what said
she kept referring to herself as "The Mighty Thor" and I get the reference but I feel like if I was an unaware movie goer I would wonder why she kept calling herself that specifically
Unaware movie goer here, thank you for the heads up so I was able to google it beforehand. I'd definitely have been lost
It was originally four hours and they cut it.
Most of Gorr’s scenes were cut.
>It was originally four hours
before they edited it down or are you saying the original theatrical cut was 4 hours
https://screencrush.com/thor-love-and-thunder-four-hour-cut/
What kind of moron wastes Christian Bale like that, how much did it cost to hire him? Cutting scenes with Gorr is just plain throwing away money
a moronic israelite thats who, this sounds really bad. Im glad i didnt waste money to go see this shit.
what were the post credits? or were they just as trash?
>what were the post credits?
#1
Zeus is seething about getting BTFO by Thor Chadinson and at the last second he says "right...Hercules?" and the camera turns and Hercules is there
#2
Jane Foster enters Valhalla and Heimdall greets her
second post credit was so superfluous. why do we need to see valhalla (which looks straight up less impressive than asgard)
we already knew jane was going, she dissolved into gold confetti
and why was heimdall's hair so bad?
>a moronic israelite thats who
It always is. It's honestly sad listening to people complain about how shitty the animation industry is now because they won't listen to the reality of the situation we're in right now.
Just release this on Disney + then as a miniseries
stupid disney execs
Well thank god for that at least. Imagine 4 hours of this agony.
2 and a half hours was honestly bad enough. Another hour and a half would have been torture
The movie is only two hours long, fool
>four hours of this shit
Jesus frick. Did they snort an entire mountain of cocaine while that abomination?
Most movies are stupidly long like that until they're edited. That isn't an excuse
>four hours
The frick? Is Waititi going up his own ass like Snyder did? A capeshit movie doesn't need four goddamn hours.
>As for what the cut contained, Hemsworth told Collider that this version of the movie was the most “bats— crazy, wild, four-hour cut I've ever seen.” Waititi chimed in an added that “Really, about five times, it just gives up on the story and just like just for like 10, 15 minutes of just telling jokes.”
yikes
So sounds like they cut most of the story to fit those jokes huh?
Way too many jokes.
>Why was it so bad?
Why did people praise the shitshow that was Ragnarok is the question you should be asking.
This. Ragnarok jumped the shark. That movie and it's "fresh take" should never have been rated so highly
My thoughts exactly. I understand people hated Dark World, but it wasn't for the serious tone.
I hate that Ragnarok and L&T turned Thor into an oaf, especially since he was pretty serious in The final Avengers movies.
He was serious in infinity war but literally reverted to his ragnarok characterization for every appearance in the mcu since
Infinity War portrays his behavior in Ragnarok as a mask to hide the pain of losing everyone and everything he loves in a matter of days. The cracks are forming here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6AVsaJHIOY
And then in Endgame, he's completely lost it and can barely hold himself together for a few minutes at a time. By the end of that film, his Ragnarok arc seems complete, and he's found at least some peace.
Then in Love & Thunder he's pretty much back to the Pagliacci routine without much of an actual reason for it until he meets Jane again.
Whome you're not wrong 4 was Ragnarok but much much much worse
Ragnorak was unironically the best Thor movie.
Ragnarok was *good* though, in ways that this movie wasn't.
It was a visual spectacle without losing its sense of place and presence. It told jokes that didn't detract (for the most part) from the story.
This movie was just frickin bizarre.
Like, people will complain about Guardians of the Galaxy and how those movies won't allow a serious moment to just happen without quips, and I strongly disagree, but this movie, I think that's exactly what happened
Waititi is more Whedon-esque than people realize. Jojo Rabbit was especially bad in this regard. The best parts of Ragnarok are kind of in spite of Waititi.
Nah, I gotta disagree there. Waititi is a generally good director, and the "quips" are what made Jojo Rabbit what it was; showing the Nazis as goofy, and Hitler through the eyes of an impressionable youth as kind and funny (until he wasn't) was the whole point.
Love And Thunder though, does get WAY lost in the sauce
What We Do in the Shadows is still a gutbuster
It's the shortest marvel movie yet, and it shows in a bad way. The entire plot felt incredibly rushed.
They kept calling Gor a God butcher, but all his killing happened off screen.
How awesome would it have been to see him enter Omnipotent City and kill some gods?
Bale did a good job and I could tell he enjoyed the role, but I think another director would have done him more justice.
>t's the shortest marvel movie yet
Are you serious? It felt pretty long as in there felt like there were a lot of filler scenes and dialogue
It barely hits the two hour mark without credits apparently
I agree with pretty much everything you said. It's shocking to me how little Bale is in the movie. And yea he did fine with what he was given but he wasn't given much
Dark World had the best Loki scenes out of any show/movie
I hate Dark World so fricking much it's the worst MCU movie by far I didn't like love and thunder but it still wasn't as bad as dark world imo
Hard disagree. Loki starts great with Thor 1 and gets slowly worse with every new movie.
The reveal of his origin is probably his best scene still https://youtu.be/kNDEEYPx54c
This is pretty much the only scene I can remember from Dark World.
Will make billion easily and BTFO your shitty boomercore cruise flick. Cope homosexual.
crying_pink_wojak_with_a_mickey_hat.jpg
Was Thor supposed to be the "dark" and "serious" movies of the MCU? You know before Ragnarok.
It's interesting, why are people savaging this one on the basis that it's basically Ragnarok 2.0? I thought casual audiences loved the LMAO QUIRKY KIWI BREW shit?
They did a few years ago but tastes constantly shift and change, and they're shifting away from superheroes as well as your typical MCU quips more than a decade of it.
Seems like the consensus from a lot of people is that while they liked Ragnarok, this has a lot less restraint, and because of that, heart. Think like Borderlands 1 compared to it's sequels.
>Think like Borderlands 1 compared to it's sequels
God damn it.
Feminism.
Quips.
Feminist quips.
Went overboard into the comedy. They're primarily comedy movies now.
Think about it: Age of Ultron had more serious moments than this and Ragnarok.
Makes sense. I don't remember Age of Ultron being particularly joke-happy.
>I don't remember Age of Ultron being particularly joke-happy.

Frick you guys I liked this movie. Finally the Asgardians are portrayed as gods, and we were introduced to other pantheons. Gorr is awesome although has too few scenes. The Thor and Jane romance is actually cute. Thor is portrayed as very powerul, more powerful than Jane, overpowers Gorr on multiple occassions, and nearly kills Zeus, the chief of all the gods. The fights scenes are some of the best of the MCU
Definitely not perfect though. Too much humor and too many Black folk in Asgard
I mean you're not wrong about the god shit and the fight scenes but everything else is just shit and Gorr is barely in the movie which is baffling. I disliked this movie a lot but at the same time yes the fight scenes were cool and Thor finally feels like a GOD. Pretty much since Ragnarok and then in the infinity war movies his GOD level has been increasing to where he does feel like a god now when he fights. But the movie was shit because of the pacing and dialogue. I felt it was dragging on pretty much the entire time until the last 30 minutes
>Finally, the Agardians are portrayed as gods
Are they, really? Thor is, Heimdell is. Everyone else might as well be a Very Strong Alien in the sense that 50% of MCU Thanos' threat just comes from his Titan physiology. The likes of Valkyrie for example just stab things or use other gods' weapons. Nobody's bowing down and worshipping the random actors for the Ragnarok play.
All of cape comics depict gods as very strong aliens. Asgard has always had a bunch of scrubs that die to the latest CGI monster horde.
Well there's Morrison in Seven Soldiers/Final Crisis where other very strong aliens look at the New Gods and were freaking out, but in hindsight it's fairly clear nobody else has any goddamn idea how to write the New Gods like he did.
This movie clearly portrays gods as something more. Many alien species have gods, and the gods from all over the universe has a meething place. They have specific afterlives, can hear prayers etc, and are all very strong. Do you think Gorr goes after strong aliens? How would Gorr's wish to Eternity to kill all gods work out if gods aren't something specific?
Also Thanos was never a god, he's an Eternal, who are just strong mortals.
>Finally the Asgardians are portrayed as gods, and we were introduced to other pantheons
But they're not gods. Just a technologically advanced alien species. Phase one went out of their way to hammer that fact into our faces.
>But they're not gods. Just a technologically advanced alien species. Phase one went out of their way to hammer that fact into our faces.
And now they're hammering into us that they ARE gods. How the frick can anyone still deny that after Love and Thunder? The early MCU was hesitant to embrace magic, but now they're full invested and don't care anymore. Odin's line "We're not gods" has been retconned.
Hemsworth has no career outside Thor and making himself look stupid in these movies is gonna ruin his prospects as a serious actor.
Side note he was in a Netflix movie this year that while just ok, he was great in it. Literally steals the show
Which pisses me off because out of all the Marvel Chrises he actually has talent.
He really doesn't, he's entirely carried by the fact he's tall and good-looking. It's always good to see other Australian do well overseas, but he could never actually act, he was bad even in Home and Away ~20 years ago.
I don't read much thor. What comic character is the little girl supposed to be?
Even though the movie was shit, the costumes look so fricking good. Muscle Jane looks good and so does her costume and the action scenes were actually pretty cool. Everything else sucked
it was cool to see strong women look strong. i want buff jane to put my dick in a chokehold
Why the frick wasn't Khonshu in Omnipotent City? Missed opportunity
Was Bast there? I thought they made a big deal about her casting or something
I know there was someone playing her there, but no lines or anything. Since they decided not to recast Black Panther, and therefore will have to come up with an explanation for his death in universe, I think they should have had Gorr kill Bast. Maybe the mystical connection would make T'Challa die as well or something.
So they had overblown articles about a character in a nameless background cameo easily missed
Konshu would never go there, they're just partying 24/7. Those gods have abandoned their duties.
Why would Khonshu hang out with a bunch of passive gods sitting about with their dicks in their hands? That's exactly what he hates about his fellow Egyptian pantheon.
superhero bubble has burst
For me it's Russell Crowe Zeus
why he speaka like-a mario if he's greek?
To cause Italian seethe
>Why was it so bad?
Gorr only killed a single God onscreen
Theory:
Gorr's kid Love, who has some powers of Eternity, will grow to become the cosmic entity Mistress Love from the comics.
that would require them to have shoved Eternity in the movie with some form of foresight in mind other than "throw some recognizable entity there for the people that care about that shit", the Worldbuilding in the MCU is completely built on making shit up as they go along
She's Singularity. Her reflection in the pool confirms it
Side note, but the black gate is the justification used to make Iceman gay right? If memory serves me correct, he didn’t come out as gay until after that arc
Because this is the first MCU movie to adapt material from the SJW era of Marvel, and that era sucked. Not just because it was woke, but because the writing was terrible.
Imo, this is just a taste of things to come. We are going to see a sharp decline in quality as they replace more of the old characters with their woke counterparts.
except thankfully Thor wasn't replaced, which was what everyone thought would happen. I'm glad they had the decency to kill Jane off since Natalie didn't want to do these movies anymore
>except thankfully Thor wasn't replaced
How did you miss the kid(s) that can take his place anytime?
Pretty sure there was a line after Thor empowers them that ends with “…just for today.” I don’t think that power-up was permanent.
Did you miss the part where he said it was temporary?
What stops him from doing it permanently next time?
You know, it's ok to say "shit, my bad. I guess I missed that part" instead of moving the goal post
I honestly didn't miss it tho, he whispered it into the lightning bolt. But he added the "for a very short limited period of time" very hastily, so I don't see what's stopping him.
It wasn't the thunder bolt, that's Zeus's weapon smooth brain. Thor did it himself
The Lightning is yellow tho, from the bolt
>Gorr wins
Didn't expect that tbh
>another kid added to the mcu
Young Avengers movie is definitely coming within the next few years
I wish the movie had been summed up in like 20 minutes and we'd gotten single-dad Thor for the next hour.
Who should we add?
we need hulking for more gay pandering, maybe they'll introduce him in secret wars or the marvels. also they set up Elijah Bradley patriot in TFATWS
Iron Lad. With Kang being the new villain and us seeing different variants of him, Iron Lad seems inevitable. Decent Iron Man replacement too, much better than the ugly negrees Iron Heart
If Kang is black so will Iron Lad, anon. He's literally young Kang.
Yeah forgot about that, frick
They could switch up Iron Lad to be the kid from Iron Man 3 who was also at Tony's funeral. More than likely the Iron Man equivalent will be Ironheart though. Looks like they're merging Young Avengers and Champions
Iron Heart will be in Black Panther 2
Who the frick is the girl in red jacket
Stature?
Who is in red?
I think from hawkeye
Oh its the new cassie lang
They set up Patriot in Falcon and Winter Soldier too.
i think they did all they can legally (without paying royalties), what with the rights issues
Billy and Tommy
Litterally fricking no obe outside of the litteral out of touch homosexuals in Disney and Alonzo wants this IP ruining disaster.
Haven't seen it but judging by the clips it suffers the same problem Ghostbuster 2016 suffered: they don't give any of their jokes time to breathe and just bumrush you with line after line after line. I also get the feeling they relied on a lot of improv which they probably thought was funny at the time that they shot it but that doesn't really translate to funny for audiences. Like you joking around with friends is going to make you and your buddies laugh, but someone watching a clip of it later won't be nearly as amused. Improv would also explain why there's a four hour cut of the film, because ultimately they shot a bloated mess of footage that had to be trimmed to death.
Again, haven't seen the film. Just basing this off clips I saw.
>Ragnarok had a literal exodus played as a joke
>Thor 4 makes light of genocide
Should have done that with Black Panther instead
Was it?
>most critics liked it
>most audiences liked it
I still haven't watched it, will do it next week.
I liked the scenes in it. There were a lot of moments that on their own were pretty good and enjoyable to watch.
But it barely qualifies as a movie. It felt like a bunch of good ideas for a Thor film that someone just stitched together without actually being able to make them into a gripping cohesive narrative.
Nothing in this film felt exciting or thrilling, just a pretty steady stream of "kinda cool" scenes. Honestly this should've been 2-3 seasons of a Thor TV series instead of a single movie.
>I liked the scenes in it. There were a lot of moments that on their own were pretty good and enjoyable to watch.
ah ok, i'll treat it like a snyder movie then. that review honestly helps anon i will probably enjoy it more knowing just to enjoy the spectacle of it
As long as Disney is green lighting bad ideas, can we get a show about a little girl with laser eyes and an axe as tall as she is going around the galaxy and absolutely beating alien ass?
Go see who wrote the screenplay for Ragnarok and compare it to who wrote the screenplay for Love and Thunder
Just tell me
Thor 1 was the only good thor movie.
I'll tell you why. It didn't have nearly enough Rocket.
the guardians were so fricking useless in this
but mantis was cute in the background so it's not a total waste
The trailer was actually so misleading lmao. They really made it seem like this would be a Guardians + Thor movie
I did not get that impression at all, and I don't know how anyone could
It was very obviously going to be
>Hi we're the guardians, we're gonna get one good action scene and then we're leaving so the movie can happen
from the jump
>one good action scene
like I said, misleading. We didn't even get that.
>Mantis
yiff in hell
Sounds hot.
So... Did I miss something?
>where is gamora
>what happened to the end game mjolnir
>dose... Thor not know he can just knight people the ability to wield
>when the hell did all of this "I left you a note" shit happen?
>where is gamora
Guardians 3 plot
>what happened to the end game mjolnir
Returned to his time
>dose... Thor not know he can just knight people the ability to wield
Only boosted by The Lightning Bolt
>when the hell did all of this "I left you a note" shit happen?
between age of ultron and ragnarok
I probably should have specified WHICH gamorra lmao
Well thanks anons then
(was it just me though or was the after credits predictable?)
You did miss a few things,
>2014 gamora (trapped in our timeline) fricked off, we saw it in endgame, present gamorra is dead.
>end game mjolnir was thor the dark world mjolnir, it's back in the events of that movie, i believe cap brought it back when he brought the stones
>yea seems like it
>couldnt say
sorry i can only provide two answers! hope it helps
I liked it. It was a comedy and the audience laughed a lot. Nothing wrong with variety.
Feminism ruins everithing. Next
So what happened to Mjlnoir after Jane dies? are we getting dual wielding Thor again.
Thor was using Mjlnoir while the kid was using Stormbreaker at the end of the movie.
Unironically the good parts of Love and Thunder are way better than anything in Ragnarok. They should've just went all in on Gorr content because the Jane stuff was so shit.
wasnt this movie supposed to focus on valkyrie getting a queen or something
I actually liked the finale with Thor empowering the kiddos but I do realize that is just an inferior version of the ending of Shazam
The good thing about the scene with the kids is its narrative purpose.
Thor completely defies Gorr's perception of gods by actually helping and empowering his followers.
This could've been a great movie if it literally just focused on this, the Jane Foster shit added nothing to the movie
I starting to get the idea that it's a bad movie just by the trailers.
The only one I've seen this week was the one about Devin the goat. They don't really show anything about the movie.
The goats were legitimately so fricking awful but my theater ate that shit up
Enough complaining, which jokes did you actually like?
i can't think of one.
Stormbreaker being jealous of Mjolnir, for one.
There were a couple gags that were genuinely funny the first time, and then they just kept happening.
>The screaming goats
>Stormbreaker being "jealous"
>"I don't think Zeus has any other names"
Yea there were also scenes that lasted too long and they were scenes with tons of quips
Kind of the same way that they kept playing Guns and Roses music.
This. The jokes mostly worked the very first time you hear them but then it felt like the writers just gave up halfway through.
>recycle Matt Damon as a play actor
>Stormbreaker being jealous was fine once, not literally six or more times
>"I want to feel shitty"
The more I think about the movie, I'm starting to realize it's not too many jokes that are the problem but too few. Specifically different jokes. It's literally like the same five jokes over and over again.
None
There is definitely a similarity.
Thor getting a call from "Nick Furry"
not a single one
it didn't make me laugh but it was kinda cute when Jane was work shopping catchphrases.
I laughed at the screaming goats more than I should've. Especially when they crash into the dark planet.
Anyone else notice a bunch of weird, hyper-specific similarities between this movie and Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness?
>The main character, who feels lost in the aftermath of Endgame, is hunted down by a villain who grieves for family members and is being slowly corrupted by the artifact that gives them power.
>They take a plucky female sidekick with emotional baggage and travel to multiple locations, including one with an emphasis on cameos and one with the saturation slider turned way down.
>In the end, the main villain gives up willingly when they can see their lost family member(s) again.
Anon...
All of these movies are litteralky written and animated by the same group of people.
All of ut is contrived
I mean
There's derivative, sure
And then there's frickin THIS
>Why was it so bad?
It's an MCU movie.
Why did MCU Thor never speak in ye olde English like he did in his classic comics?
Maybe they're saving that for hercules to be his thing
just kidding there's not gonna be another movie
The twist is that Thor will be the antagonist of the Hercules movie.
This is just the latest yet of marvel's movies.
Dark World is still the worst Thor movie
This and DS2 got worse reviews and reception than Black Widow, Shang Chi and Ant Man 2? Those were all so much worse
I feel like im taking crazy pills, maybe it’s because of low expectations but I enjoyed this a lot. Not flawless by any means but a solid ass movie overall.
Shang Chi wasn't worse, it was at worst on par with this movie
Shang Chi became boring once they went to magic Asian land. Became Mulan 2.0 and I hate Aquafina or what ever the hell her ugly ass is called. The fight scenes were neat but that is about it.
What are you smoking? Not super religious but even I know that Jesus is God in mortal form according to Christians. And spoilers he sheds his mortal form and returns in his God like form.
Where have you been Phase 4 has sucked for 2 years now. Not including No Way Home there hasn't been a movie better than passable.
Maybe it is dying in battle and being recognized as a warrior by Asgardians. Like the afterlife is a grab bag, and you chose based on your belief?
I thought Shang Chi was an okay mindless popcorn blockbuster, but holy frick it was unfunny. Like I get they think these movies need LMAO SNARKY OBSERVATION every two seconds to keep the manchildren onside, but every single fricking "gag" fell flat. And his girlfriend, holy shit, shut the frick up.
That said, Tony Leung was a pleasure as always.
It wasn't really a superhero movie though. And the CGI backdrops we're distracting. Felt the dragon is gonna be hard to 1-up next time. Overall I disliked it, especially the reddit cuck lead and cigarette frog
>That said, Tony Leung was a pleasure as always.
One thing that gives Shang-Chi big points from me is just how good the final confrontation between Shang-Chi and Wenwu is. No dumb quips, just actual emotional, believable dialogue, along with good visuals, particularly in the second fight where Shang-Chi uses his mother's techniques and usurps control of the rings. This then extends into the dragon fight later on where he combines the styles of his parents for greater control of the rings than ever before.
They just hate strong White men
Nah, LaT is by far the best phase 4 movie
>LaT is by far the best phase 4 movie
That is fricking sad because this movie was dog shit. So glad the MCU is dying.
It was camp kino
>camp
Just because you want to have gay sex with Chris Hensworth doesn't make this shit fest "kino"
should I watch it, I found a good copy to dl
Did anyone else notice the reference to a "carpenter god" while in Omnipotence City ? Is Jesus part of the MCU now ? Will he cameo in the next movies ?
Jesus was never a God. Not even in the Bible was he ever a god.
Do you not understand the concept of the Trinity anon?
People compared it to Batman 4. It's bad
>Batman 4
Batman and Robin?
If so yeah this pile of shit was only made to sell toys and fortnite skins, people who actually think it's good are genetic dead ends
Just got home. Phase 4 fricking sucks.
I think I’m done with MCU for awhile. At least until F4 or mutants show up. I don’t care about any of the heroes left. Thor isn’t even Thor anymore.
I don’t count Spiderman as Phase 4 MCU. It didn’t really affect anyone barely even Strange in his own movie.
Should Guardians of the Galaxy count as a phase two movie since it had no impact on any other film in that phase?
Went to far and became a parody. Turns out Marvel can be pretty reactionary as well
Gor was under usted . It's a children movie but feels like kids arent going to like it. The mcu is going to the childrens pockets.
Why did Jane go to valhalle?
She isn't an asgardian is she?
Is dying in battle the only requirement no matter what race/specie you are?
Asgardians are human gods, humans have always been able to go to Valhalla. Where do you think vikings went after they died?
In addition Jane basically ascended to godhood(which has always been a thing in Marvel kinda), because of Mjolnir, her valor, and relationship with Thor
Please tell me Thor is shown more powerful than Jane. Since one has powers mimiced of Thor from the first 2 movies and Thor has evolved powerwise.
Also is there definitive ending as in no more future Thor or are they continuing? Thor and Spidey are the last MCU heroes I care about. I would say Dr. Strange but he keeps getting cucked that I have lost hope.
>Thor and Spidey are the last MCU heroes I care about
Then I highly suggest not watching this movie. Thor is relentlessly shit on and made fun of and a laughing stock from beginning to end. Its so savage and so weird it almost feels like taika just hates Thor.
That said, yes Jane is shown to be weaker than Thor Odinson and the movie is open ended with sequelbait after-credits.
This movie suffered from an editing problem. Big time. So many scenes were jarringly slapped together, making it feel like a jumbled mess. Which is truly unfortunate, because the good scenes were really good and the action was awesome. Also, Natalie Portman gets worse at acting as she gets older. She looked great, but geez... talk about phoning it in. Hemsworth's arms were huge as frick, and the tattoo on his back was fricking hilarious, and horrible.
Lately I feel like anything that was made around covid is shit, because making a movie is a cohesive team effort and when people are working from home, it fricks it up.
Covid is probably a factor, but what about that shit pile Black Widow, that was only a few months from release when restrictions came into play?
Basd
Someone redpill me on Love. Who or what is she as far as the comics are concerned. I have absolutely no idea
Is it really that bad? It can't be worse than Tom Holland's Spider-Man trilogy.
But Holland trilogy is good
Oh that wig is something else
It's not a wig
>the bit everyone wanted is relegated to the opening 5 minutes instead of a full movie
I wanted my fricking full GOTG hangout movie not what we got
is the best disney superhero film besides having to many "norgweian" kids, it amazing how a little town in norway has too many black kids from the USA.
Thor: Love and Thunder has grossed an estimated $48.6M internationally through Thursday.
Current Totals Include:
Australia - $5.3M
S. Korea - $4.8M
U.K. - $3.8M
Mexico - $3.7M
India - $3.0M
Indonesia - $2.9M
Brazil - $2.7M
Italy - $2.4M
Is that good or bad
you tell us genious
I still can't tell
Is this a joke? There's no way this piece of shit has that high of a budget
It's a movie by and for literal manchildren
Actual children are sour on it lmao
Children don't like spending most of the time listening to shitty jokes that they don't even get because it's aimed at moronic adults
As a kid we used to watch Terminator 2 and thought it was the coolest shit ever lol
The people who think that appealing to kids is just throwing complete bullshit at the screen are morons
Terminator 2 still feels more original and creative than any superhero movie
Obviously.
You know a movie is bad when there are barely even any threads about it, good or bad.
I hated the goats so much, I genuinely wish they die. The CGI was horrible and Gorr is such a non factor in this movie despite being the main villain. I genuinely felt nothing during the final fight, it was horribly choreographed.
There was like 0 action in this movie and what little there was was so bad. No Zeus fight at all because he's a fat bumbling idiot, though charismatic. And it kinda irked me how all the female Gods were elegant and beautiful while the male Gods all had wacky/funny designs. Thor and Zeus were idiots, embarrassing actually.
Also it's a problem if Thor has more chemistry with his axe than with Jane Foster. That being said, I did like the little montage of their romantic life. There was potential there. And Thor and Stormbreaker moments were funny.
Was Scott Mendelson right? Is this movie really worse than Dark World?
No. Dark World is still worse
I give it 3 weekends before Top Gun is making more than Bore: Chud and Blunder daily
Love
The pacing is all over the place, the tone is too silly, too many of the other characters only exist to make sarcastic comments. There's too much traveling from place to place to allow anything to breathe so it feels like everything is a prop rather than a world. The korg narration is terrible and shouldn't exist at all, so the writing is also terrible.
