>where should we have this twisted metal battle take place? >in a historic location across the globe like the games? >maybe a big mall? that would be interesting >oh, empty parking lot in the middle of nowhere with some totalled cars laying about? sure
I'm up to ep 3, and so far pretty good. It's funny and exciting and not boring.
I never played the game so I had no expectations. It feels very member-the-90s, not that that's a bad thing.
I've liked peawiener more than most of the others but yeah they could do a better job on that. >hyped up getting the first season of Chucky next day after each episode plays on tv >almost a year after the entire 2nd season played they still haven't put it on Peawiener
Most people aren’t gonna be invested in this. An old franchise with barely any good games in the series. It’s like paramount plus coming out with a cruisin USA show.
It definitely could have used a bit more eye candy. I don't hate the chick from Brooklin nine eleven, but she's driving through the desert with a dude in a tshirt, being chased by a dude with no shirt, and she's wearing enough clothes to survive a siberian winter.
It's Nevada, literally everyone is in short sleeves, but I'm not even allowed to see her arms? When did elbows become pornographic?
Sweet Tooth yes
Preacher for one episode
Mary for one episode
Dollface and her gang at the very end of the first season
Main thing is this entire firet season is a setup for Calypso to host the TM contest proper where Grim, Axel, and some others where fully teased
Most characters are inspired by their Black/Lost versions
John Doe (Roadkill) is the MC
Agent Stone is the antagonist
Calypso gets a voice cameo
Amanda X (Pit Viper) got a cameo
Grimm and Axel get a cameo when the tease the Tournament
I think Carl and Jamie are the Agent Stone goons we see
Granny Dread is in it for an episode
I'm sure I missed some

I liked it. The flashback scenes were a bit unnecessary, didn't really add much. Felt a bit of an afterthought. "I guess we should add some dramatic backstory flashbacks for our leads or something".
But there weren't many of those, so wasn't that big of a deal
surprisingly good
i am a little disappointed that they made sweet tooth kill some of the "good guy team" in the ebd because it was comfy seeing this psycho be friendly with the main characters
I watched the first four episodes it’s watchable and entertaining I really liked the episode with twister and flower power, was granny dread the old lady from twisted metal 3 who want to watch tv in peace and quiet or whatever? I like all the car themed culture “one gas pedal in the grave” also the jacket quiet wears is almost like a carnival barker jacket is that a reference to TM4? I loved the TM3 sweet tooth suit reference
Just finished ep 10
I liked
Sweet Tooth and Stu, getting the voice over to mesh so well with the actor was a feat. And I like how Sweet Tooth is presented without judgement, as just a force of chaos.
I liked that they at least attempted to give depth to Stone even if it was just a thin veneer over a white man bad. I liked that it mostly stayed actiony and didn't have much filler. Anthony Mackey definitely shines in comedic roles.
I didn't like
the romance felt forced, Quiet felt more like she was jumping on the next wiener in the carousel than falling in love. The lesbian truckers felt more like lesbians than truckers. The timeline didn't feel natural, it felt like it should have taken place over a month rather than 10 days. The battle royale at the end was cheesy as was letting quiet take the lead with John playing support, there was an emotional payoff there that didn't happen because the show forgot who the main character was. In fact if there was one thing that could have improved the show as a whole it would have been Quiet choosing revenge over a fresh start and dying in Topeka. That and some TnA, if there was one thing the show sorely needed it was TnA.
It was mid. That's really where it lands. That probably makes it the best TV series this year, but that's only because how far standards have fallen. I couldn't help but compare it to Blood Drive, and Blood Drive was much better.
If you're bored, it's definitely watchable, but it's not a must-see by any stretch.
lmao not a single person watched this israeli trash
We did .
demented circus monkey.
Actually enjoying it. Thought it was gonna bomb hard though. Glad they made it a fun show.
You don't know what bombing means moron
Maybe if I was 10 years old again I would enjoy the shit out of this show
Mommy wouldn't let you watch son.
Do americans really
Why is literally everything moronic now
>just tape some guns to a 2006 chevy malibu, it'll look great
>where should we have this twisted metal battle take place?
>in a historic location across the globe like the games?
>maybe a big mall? that would be interesting
>oh, empty parking lot in the middle of nowhere with some totalled cars laying about? sure
Just binged to ep 2. Sweet Tooth is a bro.
is this out already?
yep, all of it
does it suck? I'm not gonna downlo--I mean, I'm not gonna subscribe to peawiener if it sucks
I'm up to ep 3, and so far pretty good. It's funny and exciting and not boring.
I never played the game so I had no expectations. It feels very member-the-90s, not that that's a bad thing.
They released all the episodes.
Doubt we're getting a S2, peawiener is deep in the red
Maybe if they released more than one show per decade?
I've liked peawiener more than most of the others but yeah they could do a better job on that.
>hyped up getting the first season of Chucky next day after each episode plays on tv
>almost a year after the entire 2nd season played they still haven't put it on Peawiener
unless Sony shops it to an actual decent network
Fricking Poe's law.
Most people aren’t gonna be invested in this. An old franchise with barely any good games in the series. It’s like paramount plus coming out with a cruisin USA show.
Yeh they took too long to introduce a lesbian couple. Not woke enough.
>Pizza Boy and Drag Queen in the show
It's ding-dong diddly kino brother
Lookin good,frog fren!
Have you been working out?
This is looks like a youtube fanfic. Fricking awful.
Dragged out a bit but I liked it.
Hated the leads though
They're so ugly
Quiet grew on me but it's because I have a thing for filthy and fine chicks
It definitely could have used a bit more eye candy. I don't hate the chick from Brooklin nine eleven, but she's driving through the desert with a dude in a tshirt, being chased by a dude with no shirt, and she's wearing enough clothes to survive a siberian winter.
It's Nevada, literally everyone is in short sleeves, but I'm not even allowed to see her arms? When did elbows become pornographic?
are sweet tooth and other such psycho/fun characters involved a lot?
Sweet Tooth yes
Preacher for one episode

Really scraping the bottom of the barrel for videogame adaptations, aren't they?!?FACT!!!
Yeah but that almost makes it seem like an original idea.
Remember those?
>the last Twisted Metal game came out in 2012 and it fricking sucked
yeah kinda.
Absolutely kino, somehow
That's him! That's Twisted Metal™!
>Didn't watch
Cry more lmfao
Didn't even play the games. Cars are lame
this is the gayest thing i've ever read in a long, long time, and there are literal trannies on this board
I am going to watch it now because the references to the games sound cool I hope they reference twisted metal 4
The era of video game movies is not off to a great start.
>Mr Slam is just some old fat dude with a massive penis
Slambros...
He certainly tore that watermelon a new one

During PS1 era I was all about Vigilante 8
Wait, it's out?!
I liked it. The flashback scenes were a bit unnecessary, didn't really add much. Felt a bit of an afterthought. "I guess we should add some dramatic backstory flashbacks for our leads or something".
But there weren't many of those, so wasn't that big of a deal
not my sweet tooth
sweet tooth is supposed to be a gacy type of maniac that dont make sense most of the time
I liked it
surprisingly good
i am a little disappointed that they made sweet tooth kill some of the "good guy team" in the ebd because it was comfy seeing this psycho be friendly with the main characters
Provided we do get that promised 2nd season I fully expect him to just completely shitshatter Calypsos contest
Was good until the sex scene.
Shitpile

If you watch this for free - you are mentally disabled.
Even worse if you paid for it Moshe
It's okay, but it's a two hour movie like Death Race 2000 stretched out to 10 hours.
it's 5 hours tho not 10
You're right. Those episodes just seem like an hour.
no problem. everyone makes mistakes, just try to be more careful in the future
>I DO CO-CO-CO-COCAIN!
People actually fap to anime?
sweet tooth eats skittles
I expected nothing, and I found it entertaining. It helps that the episodes are >30 min.
If it gets a new season I will give it a watch.
Fun show. Don't give a shit about most the characters backstories but enjoyed it overall. 6/10.
It was watchable and slop to kill time, but the female lead was garbage.
It was like the video game.
If you enjoyed it, I recommend Blood Drive.
>the female lead was garbage.
Illegal alien bisexual. It is Peawiener, after all.
>thinly veiled log thread yet nobodys taking the bait
very strange. Am I becoming a schizophreniac?
Just finished ep 10

Had no idea this was a thing. They saving this guy for season 2?
(s)he was in the first episode
He must be thinking really hard.
