An important character to the bat mythos, but a modern one should be a girl. Both carrie and Steph have a more fun dynamic with Batman than Tim or Damian.
They should have made Carrie canon instead of making Tim. And keep it at a nice even three >Dick (the OG) >Jason (dead RIP) >Tim/Carrie/Terry/whoever (the successor and last Robin)
You don’t need seven running around
It was cool seeing Dick Grayson mature and leave Batman as he joined Teen Titans and later became Nightwing. The Death of Jason Todd was also memorable, then Tim Drake came along.
Teen Titans strong-legs-short-shorts, Nightwing, TAS (where hes pretty much an adult), and Forever Robin are the best and most popular versions of the character.
Being Robin doesnt mean being a downgrade, its its own cool identity passed on with the bat. But when hes like 13, it ruins it and makes it seem so. So he needs to be am adult teen.
Damian is insufferable and immediately drags down anything he appears in. I can't stand petulant brats in the real world, why the hell would I want them in my entertainment?
Legitimately the one superhero identity I accept being changed with some frequency. I'm interested in how a Robin differs from another Robin. I'm intrigued by how they handle outside/teamup situations.
This is entirely unique in my perspective. While a not insignificant number of legacy villains hold my interest: I can't honestly say a mainstream legacy hero really captivates me in the same way.

Steph might but what does Carrie add exactly? Stupid lingo?

>Sidekick
>Batman's gay lover
That's the first thing that comes to mind before taking him seriously
Works better as an adult.

Burt Ward is still unsurpassed across all adaptations, live action or animated.
You're gay.
Jason Todd is the only Robin that matters

Honestly this, Damian is horrible in Injustice and those animated movies. I don't understand why they pushed him so hard in either of those.
