How would Joe Barbera have responded to contemporary animation fandoms?

Zoomers and Cinemaphilentrarians need their asses kicked.
HB were unfunny shit made with recycled animation assets and terrible writing
Post your address so I can kick your ass.
Slitting his own throat
He would probably call for shippers and Fujos to be locked away in a mental asylum.
Hanna barbera was always overrated crap, stuff like johnny quest was cool but almost all of their comedy cartoons sucked shit
Haha the fact that John K made Joe H seethe will never not be funny.
>*Joe B
Sorry the Shitalian who’s still alive not his israeli partner.
Why was this gay such a stick in the mud? He only is fondly remembered because he had a monopoly on saturday mornings with his subpar mid shit cartoons
>gets mad and threatens bodily harm to people over cartoon characters
He's one of us.
Do people even like Hanna Barbera cartoons? Most of them were poor man's Looney Tunes.
Zoomers and Cinemaphilentrarians need their asses kicked.
Not really. People like some of the later movies and shows like the DTV Scooby Doo and the Adult Swim shows, but for the most part they've been thoroughly discarded from pop culture. I don't know how Jellystone exists, maybe desperation?
I just remember HB shows being very safe and boring. I guess I like Tom and Jerry, Scooby Doo and Yogi Bear as a kid watching Cartoon Network in the 90's, but if I were to pick either Looney Tunes or HB, I would always pick Looney Tunes. Ok, later shit like New Johnny Quest and SWAT Kats was metal, but at the same time WB released Batman TAS.
The Flintstones is pretty good.
It’s weird once you watch old shows like The Honeymooners or I Love Lucy, you notice every single show through modernity has copied at least one of their plots.
Dunno, Flintstones suffered from an uncertain audience syndrome. They were too serious for the kids, yet not serious enough for the adults. But it was a pretty "safe" show, so I guess that's why it kept going for so long.
>not serious enough for the adults
It aired in 1960 late at night alongside other funny sitcoms like Donna Reed, Dennis the Menace, and Jackie Gleason. It was very, very popular with adults.
For what it’s worth, they were able to make appealing cartoons on a shoestring budget.
poor man's Looney Tunes is still better than 99% of other cartoons, though
Jetsons was just Blondie and Dagwood in space/future but it was so bland tier and boring. Well the mom and teenage daughter were hot at least.
