      1. Tim & Dick (tie)
      2. Damien (in his own way)
      3. Steph
      4. Duke
      5. Jason (as Robin, Red Hood is different)

Carrie Kelly is an Elseworlds to me. Elseworlds Robins are a whole other can of worms. I hadn't read much of Duke, but I really really dug
Funny enough, the first Batman comic I got as a kid was Batman 403 with Jason. I had no idea who he was and wondered where Dick Grayson was. It wasn't until Batman TAS years later that I got into the actual comics again. I now like Jason, but most of the time I followed Batman comics he was dead. Then they brought him back through a retcon punch which was thankfully retconned to Ra's being involved.

What you didn't like Soldier Boy Wonder? You didn't like Tim whining about how he will never be Batman in Teen Titans? I kid but I actually liked the relationship with him and Superboy and him and Cassandra. He was way out of his league and he knew it but he still tried his best. I only wish we saw a few more stories with him and Dick. When Infinite Crisis happened it was his swan song. The only notable moments are Bruce constantly complimenting Tim and saying Tim has potential to be even better than him before offering to adopt him

              Anonymous

Not him, but while I'm fine with Kon and Tim being friends, making them this great broship where Kon is his most important relationship got old quick. I preferred them having a sort of uneasy friendship where Kon was way more immature than Tim and Tim got testy with Kon's antics. I get that Kon sort of matured, but it also felt like Tim got more immature hanging out with him when they were together. Tim can have fun but I liked how image conscious he was about it during YJ.

Kon only got more serious when he found out who his second father was. He fell into a personal crisis and when Superboy Prime reared his head in Kon was already coping with who he is.

He absolutely does. Cause right now he's barely a character. The teen titans can't fill the void cause frankly he's shit with them. He needs some nonhero friends to ground him. It's times like this gotham academy didn't get shelved.

The major problem with Damian going back to his intro is that characters don't respond to him according to any sort of logic. He's an egotistical, butthole brat, and nearly everyone he meets should want nothing to do with him. Even now with him significantly mellowed, he's still an egotistical ass and if you're going to use him you should make him the butthole character.

He could use a Wayne Family Adventures spinoff of him being his usual self while stuck in a normal school. Like Full Metal Panic! except a preening showboat instead of a war autist.

Like I said. Gotham academy was literally perfect for him, and it's a crying shame they never capitalized on it.

                Anonymous

I don't think Damian would be a good fit for Gotham Academy simply because of how connected it is. I'm talking Damian fully out of his element. Alternately, for a more serious route, have him at an exclusive prep school full of nothing but a bunch of overachieving, affluenza-riddled teens whose entire lives have been a rat race forced on them by emotionally distant, one percenter tiger parents. Damian's major character facet is his ego, so he's in a situation where he's not special and no gives a shit about who he is.

As shitty of an idea that I think Damian is, making him a villain is the opposite of a solution.

This is very true. Jason is already Edgy-Batman-That-Kills-Using-Guns.

Not a killer vigilante, more murder is an acceptable form of political discourse. Basically imagine if the CIA was an independent organization guided by a savior complex.

Make him a villain. Like he takes a good look at his granddad and mom, and goes "you people are moronic." So he grabs himself a bunch of killers and has a new LoA that actually uses assassinations to carry out political goals, instead of trying kill 90% of humanity or throwing mindwiped werebat ninjas at his ex to see if the spark is still there. Make him a Jon villain, a dark counterpart to the notion of a better tomorrow.

his character was created to die in the very arc he was introduced. Editors reigning that idea in because you don't just kill "batman's son" and "think of the potential" are what kept him around. Damian started off by attempting to kill Tim, then murdered a guy. It's only reasonable that Tim would be salty that Batman's response would be to make Damian Robin. But in general I think Morrison is on the low end of Damian writers.

What was he supposed to do? He fricking killed a guy in his first appearance and Batman let him get away with it. He could spend the rest of his life trying to earn his father's respect back or be rivals with the rest of the Robins. But no. Just be butt buddies with Jon Kent

Dick is really only better as Nightwing BECAUSE he was Robin. His angst toward Batman. His relationship with Barb. His friends in the Titans. Even his interactions with the newer Robins ESPECIALLY Damian.

In terms of character development Dick is top tier. Followed by Steph, Jason, a thousand arrows, Tim=Damian, Carrie "why the hell are you even here?" Kelly

Actually fourth. I don't even remember the things he does in his Robin time.
Even Jason for being hated as he is, people still recognize his "the cult", pushing rapist to death, and death in the family events.

Does Tim did anything noteworthy in his Robin time?

      Anonymous

Tim happened to be the Robin in some good stories. Those were good stories regardless of him, or in spite of him.

There's a reason why Dini and Timm chose to use Jason Todd for the BTAS Robin. Tim has the absolute weakest concept of all the Robins, Stephanie included.

Steph and Batman had such a fun dynamic in just the little scraps they got, it's criminal they've not been used as the Dynamic Duo more.

I'd say he had one of the better character arcs before new 52 happen. He went from this optimistic, naive, slightly incompetent kid who got taken for a ride by everybody to a cynic who still tries to find a better way. Hard to name one particular story, but his whole era of books/crossovers/teamups were just enjoyable for the most part except when extreme hacks took over. It wasn't an accident that he held down popular solos and teamups for 20 years

Basically, Tim is sort of the guy who gets hired for a job and everything goes to shit a month in. This being the era before a united Batfam, Tim is the only really active, sane vigilante in town when Bruce is gone and Jean Paul goes rogue. so he was initially tasked with looking after JPV and helping him, but he gets locked out. And eventually he has to help Dick sort of reign in whats going on, and when Bruce comes back they establish the beginning of the modern batfamily with them all working together.

Meanwhile, Dixon and David's Tim was a favorite character in 'Tec, Robin, and Young Justice. I don't consider the "new GAY Tim Drake GAY Robin (Oh did we mention he's gay?)" to be the same. Reeks of tokenism. They didn't even make the right Superboy gay with him so Tim x Kon fans would be happy.
