Conan & the other characters tied to him should stay in Marvel. They've been great, & Conan was originally from Marvel

Some say that Heroic backed out after the whole Pocahontas controversy, others say Marvel themselves just straight up dropped it

Are any of the newer Marvel Conan comics as good as their old stuff or should I just ignore it.
Have you considered reading them? Why would you bother trusting anyones opinion on this website? It takes seconds to open up the past 10 years of comic books and try them out.
Savage Avengers v1 is good in a fun, pulpy, guilty pleasure way.
Read the first Aaron arc, it wasn't as skullfrickingly awful as his regular Marvel fare, but didn't make me want to read any more

Don't know why I'm not enjoying vol 2 as much. It does have the same Marvel Team-Up feel every issue of vol 1 had.

Europe... Conan is public domain in euroland, so they publish their own Conan comics (also labeled as "Conan" over there). But they have to rename them to "Cimmerian" to avoid copyright shenanigans in the US.
They're comics from Europe that were made since the original Conan text stories are public domain.
Supposedly some of the text stories might be public domain in the US as well which is probably why Ablaze brought the Euro Conan comics over, and publishing them under the title "The Cimmerian", because the name Conan is trademarked.

They do. All of The Cimmerian comics use the title of the stories. The only thing that's trademarked is Conan's name, which they couldn't use for the cover title.

The original stories that Robert E. Howard wrote are public domain in Europe and maybe America I'm not sure. But those Cimmerian comics are written in Europe and called Conan but here in the states they call them Cimmerian to avoid copyright issues.
