I like the hammy music during halls of justice shot which is basically a rundown warehouse shell of a police building. His captain was pretty cool too. Shame what happened to Jim Goose.

Road Warrior is the one everyone says is the best Mad Max film.
The first one is simply a low budget prototype that don't even have actual post apocalypse stuff.
And the second one depends what you look for. Road Warrior is basically a spaghetti western and has lots of scenes where nothing is happening, while Fury Road is just permanent action, but the few chasing scenes in Road Warrior are way higher in quality given that they actually did all that shit you see on screen and didn't added more exciting stuff in post, you can actually feel that what you see in the action scenes in Road Warrior is 100% doable irl.

What is wrong with you? Seriously, do you have ADHD? It's a very easy film to watch. Maybe you just don't like movies.

It's annoying because the premise is so good
The final years of a painful oil shortage that cause World War 3, without actually showing us World War 3, is such a scary setting for a movie. It's like pre Pearl Harbor Japan but for the entire world

It’s arguably a much more kino title than “Max Max 2”

Yeah you got memed bud. Mad Max 1 is a strange film, it is absolutely not what you're expecting if Fury Road was your first. It's not bad though, just an unexpected movie. I found the setting interesting, it's an apocalypse in its beginning stages, the strange behaviors of the characters like the wife going down to the beach when bandits could be everywhere or lawyers letting maniacs go shows how everyone is living in denial about the world they live in now, and at the end Max finally accepts it when his life gets destroyed and he goes to take revenge.

it was heavily viral marketed here for six months solid, day and night with threads across at least three boards. they paid the site so they had 5-10 threads per board all saying the same thing with the same 2-3 posters in each running off a lame script.
found out they were a shitty little viral marketing company based in England with an old dyke as a boss, and the bulk of their "employees" are low end university students that stay up at night posting rubbish for minimum wage while buying into the fake prestige of "working for AAA film studios!!!!"

1st chase is legit, the stuff with the villain are nice and then again when they get the V8. The police department is fun too.

Ranking the Mad Max films for me is:
    >Fury Road
    >Mad Max (film)
    >Beyond Thunderdome
    >Mad Max (kino as frick game)
    >Road Warrior

Seriously, the game is awesome. Best Mad Max experience i had in years. The only thing I recommend is don't do what I did and spend the majority of the game liberating outposts/territories. Eventually you'll trick out your Magnum Opus to such a degree that it completely trivializes the final section of the game. My car was a straight up death machine that obliterated Convoys like roadkill.

Driving through the airport is such an incredible set piece and I wish the recent films were more creative in terms of locations

Hell yeah it was. And driving to it was such an eerie feeling given how vast the desert was surrounding. Also correct me of I'm wrong, but was this the first time we got to see Gas Town?

Best to worst or worst to best?

I was originally thinking best to worst, but I could easily make the argument for worst to best. It really comes down to what you're looking for in a Mad Max experience at that moment. Truth be told I'd be down for watching any of them if given the oppurtunity.

Yes wow the game® and the recent top swing action big budget smash hit film™ are so amazing© they are my favourites™ for sure.
