What I will never understand about situations like this is how the raped women thinks she is morally "right" in not doing anything to the rapist. That rapist will now continue to rape, destroy other women's lives, but hey, at least YOU did not resort to violence.

Brave. Now he can go on victimizing other women because you had to prove something to yourself.
Maybe as a therapist you should have inner peace and not be fricking other people over with your personal hangups?

      >if you kill your enemies THEY win!

Brainlets, she didn't act upon the impulse of revenge because she knew it would mean involvement with criminals and could possibly make her want to ask for more and more favors in the future. It's about self preservation, not moral highground

Shame I had to waste time to explain such basic shit, this board is fricking moronic

something similar happened in my life, my gf's stepdad's sister (like an aunt) dated a guy online until they met in person and then he gave her a drink and she passed out, she woke up naked and got dressed and drove home, then later he sent her a video online of him raping her unconscious body all snuff film like. Keep in mind she knows where this dude's house is. Everyone tells her to go to the police but she doesn't for a reason i cant remember and im too removed to do anything about it but all i can think about is this guy raping other poor lonely mid life women. She definitely refused to do anything to stop this obvious borderline serial rapist who will strike again and even worse might murder down the line.

i used to work as a bouncer
my co-worker raped over 60 women
        >save their ID's from scanner at club
        >go to their houses later that night when he knows they'll be too fricked up to stop him
        >break into their houses and rape them, recording it all
        >threaten to do worse if they don't give up log-in details for facebook/bank etc.
        >steals their money, threatens to upload the videos to their facebook account and send it to their parents if they frick with him
this was enough to keep over 60 women from reporting him, for over 4 years.
all during the peak of #metoo lmfao
then as soon as ONE comes forward, some 15 year old he put in diapers after violently anally raping her, suddenly its "powerful" to report him so they all come forward.

She never asked him not to do anything, she simply never told him because she knew he would sperg out and murder the dude and his whole family, like she BARELY managed to keep Tony under control with the groomer dude, hurting someone he actually cares about would send Tony into mob mode no matter what she said next.

Tony is a Faustian character, he will give you want you want in the short term but you'll always pay more for it in the long term. Melfi knows that once she does it she'll be in Tony's mob world forever, he'll have leverage over her and he'll exploit it at every chance.

You people obviously don't know how mob works. Once they do something for you, they will own you forever. It doesn't matter if he liked Melfi or not, he would get the most out of that exchange. If he had someone kill the guy, Melfi would be blackmailed into writing prescriptions, blackmailing her other patients etc.

If a mobster offers to buy you pack of gum, it's best to refuse and say thank you.
