Transformers Rise of the Beasts

I have the plot leaks.

>the movie is 80% Transformers and 20% humans.
>The main human character, Noah is like Jack from TFP and doesn’t want to be involved with Transformers but is convinced by Mirage. Mirage is like Smokescreen from TFP.
>Primal and Airazor get the most focus out of the maximals. With Primal acting as a mentor to Optimus helping him become the autobot leader we all know. Cheetor and Rhinox are just kinda there. Cheetor does call Primal “Big Bot”.

>Movie begins showcasing the origins of Maximals and the Predacons and how they landed on earth
>We then cut to the setting of the movie starts in Brooklyn, it is the year 1994. The ragtag group of Autobots led by Optimus Prime are adapting to their environment in their disguises, they have a "base" at an abandoned warehouse in Brooklyn. Optimus is resentful of humans even though Bumblebee tries to assure him that "not all humans are bad" through song. Prime just wants to get back to Cybertron and face off against the Decepticons who have pretty much conquered it.

    >While in the city, Mirage notifies Optimus of a "Transwarp key", which is a major element of Cybertronian teleportation. Mirage kidnaps disguises as a car to attract Noah, whom he quickly locks in and drives off with him inside. A police chase happens because Mirage is a wreckless driver. Mirage outruns the police and escapes with Noah into the Autobot base.

    >At the Autobot base, Noah tells the Autobots more about the museum and the various ways to get in there- they decide to go in at night because that's when the museum is locked and everyone is gone except the guards of course. At night they drive off to the museum.

    >At the same time they drive off, three meteors land in the waters of Brooklyn's city. Three robots, the Terrorcons emerge from the protoform pods and start causing havoc around the place. They begin to scan their alternate modes; they need to get around faster after all. They notice a poster showing an exhibition for the Transwarp Key at the museum and they drive off to the museum.

      >At the museum, Noah is sent to check oit out inside, meanwhile Battletrap launches a terrorcon minicon to steal the key, Noah meets Elena while he tries to steal the key, she works at the museum and is a friend of his, she tries to stop him when the Terrorcon scares them and steals the key. Terrorcon then runs outside and Optimus and Bee walk to the door and kill it, taking the key meanwhile Mirage, Arcee and Wheeljack waiting outside the museum area. Just as Optimus is about to take the key from the terrorcon corpse, the Terrorcons lunge at Optimus and shove him into a nearby manhole. Optimus managed to climb up but Scourge is about to stab him. Bumblebee arrives and tries to attack Scourge but Scourge quickly swings around, impales him and electrocutes him, making Bee fall into a coma. Scourge decides to no longer waste time, he grabs the Key and opens a mini-portal to Peru. Terrorcons follow him into the portal.

        > Optimus stands over his fallen comrade. He carries the body of Bee back to base where Wheeljack assures Prime that Bee will be OK, he's just in a coma. Noah's friend, Elena informs Optimus of an ancient Volcano in Peru, according to local myths it had been a "Cybertronian spacebridge". The humans agree to accompany the Autobots on their quest.

        >Next day, Autobots go to the cargo docks and board Stratosphere, who is disguised as a local cargo plane. Bee's body is sent to the intensive care unit within Stratosphere.

        > In Peru, Optimus and the crew hide in a jungle. Then some weird steampunk animal robots comes attacking them. Prime angrily points his blaster at the gorilla, who is Optimus Primal the leader of the Maximals. Primal assures Optimus he is not evil and he's here to help Optimus and the gang on the quest. Primal and Airazor invite the Autobots to the Maximal Cave, and then Airazor begins telling the Autobots about the origins of the Maximals. Airazor is sent by Primal to check out the skies for any threats, she at one point gets attacked by Nightbird, she hacks her and sends Airazor to attack the Autobots and Maximals.

        >Everyone flees and the Terrorcons give chase. Battle starts, the Terrorcons get away and Rhinox knocks out Airazor.

          >Maximals and Autobots meet up at a new location; somewhere in the city. Maximals choose to hide inside some festival prop, Autobots hide in car modes and start parading. Optimus and Mirage spot Scourge, battle starts but Scourge gets away.
          >Later on in the evening the Maximals and Autobots set off to the location of the volcano- they must stop Scourge from activating the bridge. Unfortunately Scourge is already there, the volcano has turned into the bridge as well. To stop the Autobots, he activates a beam brings an army of Terrorcons like pic related from the sky. He also opens a ancient tomb from nearby temple which was a prison for Predacons, but the classic BW Predacons dissapeared, only Skorponok lookalikes soldiers are there to use.
          >Everyone's getting overpowered by the Terrorcon and Predacon army. Mirage is severely damaged. When all seems lost, the humans alongside Bumblebee and Stratosphere arrive to the battle.

            >Unicron is coming from the portal, we can see his horns approaching when Stratosphere knocks Scourge in the bridge, damaging it and sending Unicron back to where he csme from.Bumblebee helps Optimus and Primal kill Scourge.
            >The army falls apart, Battletrap and Nightbird retreat and the day is saved.
            >Optimus promises to stay on Earth to protect the humans and Noah is recruited by Sector 7.
            >Forgot to mention but Arcee and Wheeljack are actually a couple in the film and spend the entire film arguing with each other but resolve their issues in the end.
            >Post Credits scene is Unicron berating Battletrap and Nightbird for their failure through a vision of sorts. While on Cybertron, the Decepticons are greeted by the Predacons teasing them as the villains for the trilogy. BW Megatron meets G1 Megatron, but BW Megatron is not named.

            >Unicron is the bad guy of this trilogy, Terrorcons are his heralds and they open a transwarp bridge on every planet for him to consume it, I guess because he is lazy or something, he can't travel a lot. Anyway, the Beasts came from such a planet, but also from the future, it's hinted at but never delved into.

This movie is so fricking bizarre, it really feels like they're back to the AoE/TLK thing where they mash like 3 concepts together. It feels like they saw what came after G1(BW/Car robots-RiD/UT) an just took bits from all of that
Also setting it in 94 and not 96 for the obvious reference is such a misstep

      Anonymous

The director said he set it in 94 because of the culture shift, according to him the 90s culture truly started in 94 and until then it still was 80s culture.

He isn't, this time we will have TF quantity. All leaks mentioned this and we know they are legit because of the trailer and toy leaks.

It will be quantity over quality.

How much you wanna bet the "Terrorcons" are the last surviving Decepticons from the Michael Bay universe, which got rekt by Unicron and Quintessa in off-screen events after TLK...and now they're looking for new realities/timelines to conquer.

The Terrorcon with the minicon (which toys seems to suggest looks like Frenzy) could easily be an Unicron-enslaved Barricade.

      >Barricade managed to survive even when his franchise literally ended.

I have an hard time figuring which line was developed the latest, thus getting closer to being screen accurate rather than based on movie concept arts.

Even the promotional stuffs confuse me. Just look at this movie standee and compare it to this officially licensed puzzle.

It looks better. Also the standee is usually manufactured closer to release than other merch.

It's such a radical change for Cheetor and Airazor, though, especially as, intuitively, I'd expect the core-line toys to be more based on the concept art and the Studio Series one to be developed later to be more screen accurate. But here, it looks like the situation was reversed.

Except he hasn't interacted with humans much, in this reboot.

all he know is that many of them were allied with two decepticons and were helping them hunt down Bumblebee.

    >people just wanted a simple G1 Transformers movie after Bumblebee teased the idea
    >proceed to give them some scatterbrained bullshit reminiscent of the very same movies that almost killed the franchise
    WHY

      Anonymous

G1 fans are entering their 40's and no longer a panderable market except for toys. Most of them already had kids and those kids are getting older too. Movie studios want 18-35, which is the late BW kids through bay movie market. It's made for kids who grew up with BW to take their kids and for 2000's kids with nostalgia.

        Anonymous

I mean it doesn't really help that the G1 scenes are the only thing anyone ever seem to talk about when Bumblebee is discussed though
I understand going for demographics and what not but it seems really tonedeaf to not follow up on the one thing that got people's attention
