I think this was back when anyone could vote for audience score
After Last Jedi RT changed it so you needed to buy tickets via fandango (or whatever its called) for your vote to count >inb4 someone says they can vote
yes you can post your review but your score doesn't count unless you actually purchased a ticket via Mandingo
Rotten Tomatoes doesn't score movies, it just tells you what other people scored it. Don't shoot the messenger, especially when the messenger is partially owned by Warner.
>Critic Score high, audience score low - haha, look at disney paying critics to shill their movies! >Critic score low, audience score high - pffff, look at those shils and bots, giving it high score, while real critics sees it for the crap it is
You just cant win on the internet this days.
Beats me. MoM I can sort of understand as there's some cool stuff there. But there is absolutely no way that Love and Thunder should be fresh. That movie belongs with the likes of Batman v Superman and Morbius.
I still couldn't believe that funny haha piss off ghost man was going to bring in Gor to be the antagonist in the same movie he was going to do Janethor
>Love and Thunder >Good reviews
It got 64%. Barely fresh and that's mostly due to what
MCU films are graded on a curve. Not due to some kind of grand conspiracy but because the MCU is so ubiquitous now that people are naturally going to be biased towards it on some level. If Sony or DC released something as structurally incompetent as Multiverse of Madness or as flat out stupid as Thor Love and Thunder, they would have gotten scores much more in line with their actual quality on RT (as you can see by Venom 2 and Black Adam).
While BP1 was ultimately just decent, it didn't really have many major flaws outside of bad CGI. So you had reviewers free to project their own political inclinations and biases all over the movie because it didn't really do anything poorly in an over way. In that way, a decent movie got elevated to a 96% on RT.
The fact that BP2 is at an 88% with ~120 reviews shows that the movie has problems. If the film is still scoring below the 90% mark, even with the political angle AND Chadwick's passing, it means the movie has some major structural or logical problems that people can't ignore.
And yes, RT scores will with rare exceptions (like Ant-Man 1) always trend downwards. Wonder Woman 1984 started in the mid 90% range by the 90 review mark or so and is now Rotten, for an extreme example. Expect this to land in the mid 80s.
because disney bought fox. eternals only existed as a replacement of x-men but now that they have x-men again they had not reason to care about eternals anymore
The DCope begins. gonna be even funnier watching you DCucks do damage control when Wakanda Forever makes more in its opening weekend than Black Adam did in its entire run.

>That high
Dude that audience score is dogshit. Scores just look high because they have to be verified now. That's a worse audience score than Space Jam 2
Like The Eternals, this movie could be Oscar worthy and I still wouldn't be interested. I watch Marvel movies to see superhero characters that I grew up with on the big screen. Nostalgia, basically. I don't recognize anything from my childhood in this film. I was originally onboard due to the Dr. Doom rumor. But without him being in it, I'm out. Maybe I'll watch on Disney Plus when I'm really, really, really bored.
>Shuri creates a proto anti mutant serum to depower RAMON >"On a second thought, maybe we should be free to decide what gets inside our bodies"
What the hell, Feige?
Review metrics will probably be high, its the box office that I think is going be flat at best. All those black dudes who liked T'Challa aren't interested, a lot of the black women who saw the last one were about T'Challa with his shirt off and aren't interested in his sister or Ironheart. Latinos got an MCU hero but it's a gay looking dude with a dad bod and bone through his nose.
I can't imagine being that deep into company wars that you see anyone disagreeing with you as an enemy playing for the "other team". Black Adam failed utterly but this should have opened bigger considering the hype

>but this should have opened bigger considering the hype
It's like doing a sequel of The Joker, except Joaquin Phoenix's character has died from cancer during the opening credits, or Iron Man 2 except Tony died of a heart attack and now Rhodey is Iron Man.
Boseman's not actually IN this movie. Of c ourse it isn't going to exceed the original. People loved Boseman's BP in civil war and were jazzed for his movie.

Did Disney really not resurrect his likeness so he could be in the movie anyway?

Every time Disney did that, people hated it. Not to mention that they made a big deal of not recasting T'Challa because they wanted to respect his legacy or some shit so CGI Boseman would definitely not be well received.

And I don't think Shuri was specially popular, more so with the adult black male demographic

Black Adam bombed, anyone saying that is a falseflagger or shill
>americans produce yet another ultra racist shitheap appropriating random bits of religious and social rituals from poor africans with no means to protest >95% MOTY
I don't care about your BIGGOEST DUOEST shitflinging moron wars online but that rating means nothing, BP had a good rating IIRC and it was mediocre as hell. It only had a few really memorable scenes and some really bad ones too. Couldn't be saved by Boseman.
I hope it's a good movie, but I ain't gonna expect it.
Forget about the usual graft and fear that critics will lose access to Disney screenings if they shit on a film. ANY paid critic that doesn't suck this movie's dick will raked across the woke coals and they're more scared of that than anything else.
The implication that they were hidden because they were black is always funny to me since they were given a movie and exposure because they were black (although I think the actual women were mixed to hell)
The other human calculators they worked with weren't given a movie
>since they were given a movie and exposure because they were black
Sixty years after the fact. After numerous bigger budget space program movies, that could be factually inaccurate and played it very loose with certain details, even when the script was directly based on a heavily researched non-fiction book. Just look at the Right Stuff for example that was criticised by the actual real life astronauts depicted in the movie. It’s easy to smugly wave the race card when you’re an ignorant moron who doesn’t know anything.

>Critic score
Yes
I don't think the movie will be inflammatory enough for a low audience score tbh. Everyone's gonna virtue signal hard on Boseman.

Without fail, nowhere near as useless as the audience score.

Rotten Tomatoes doesn't score movies, it just tells you what other people scored it. Don't shoot the messenger, especially when the messenger is partially owned by Warner.
Do you think in current year that this movie would ever get bad reviews?
Why did Eternals get bad reviews then?
Not Black enough
white lead
The lead was an Asian female in love with 2 white men.
no one gives a shit about women
So why did MoM and Love and Thunder get good reviews?
Beats me. MoM I can sort of understand as there's some cool stuff there. But there is absolutely no way that Love and Thunder should be fresh. That movie belongs with the likes of Batman v Superman and Morbius.

Wakanda whatever
>taking critic scores for a Black Panther movie in 2022 at face value
>Disney film
>MCU Capeshit
>Black worship pandering
Did you think this would ever get a low score?
With Chadwick it would be another 98%, Feige should get Coogler for Secret Wars if he pulled this off.

This movie had some shitty elements. But it's by no stretch of the imagination one of the worst MCU movies, let alone the worst one.
It's worse because the problems plaguing the MCU were known by the time this was filming and it did nothing to change it.
77% is a bad audience score. It got a CinemaScore of B, which was the worst an MCU movie had ever gotten.
>It got a CinemaScore of B
Worse than Black Adam even
I refuse to believe that Eternals got that high of an audience score. No way.
>That high
Dude that audience score is dogshit. Scores just look high because they have to be verified now. That's a worse audience score than Space Jam 2
>only scores from people who can verify that they actually watched the movie can rate it to preclude review bombing
I fail to see the issue here.
How will this change the hierarchy of power in the Marvel Universe?
More women and blacks
>Finally marvel capeshit is watchable again
>Sprigatito doesn't go bipedal
Good day.
Panther was always good. The other non-Ironman MCU usually suck
>Sprigatito doesn't go bipedal
But does it become sexy?
Anon... sprigarito does go bipedal in its first evo
Frick you, it's your fault.
>Sprigatito doesn't go bipedal
lmao
DRAW HER FEET
doesn't go bipedal
then wtf am I jerking off to right now
I honestly forgot this was coming out. I haven't even seen the trailer yet.
It's the namor one.

I haven't. What do you gain by being a homosexual?
>Nobody ASKED for any of this.
BvS opened to 424mil and Multiverse of Madness did 450mil. I think Wakanda Forever will get a billion but it's not 100% guaranteed
Wakanda Forever makes more money in its opening week than Black Adam will ever make.
>thinking 365 million for a tentpole Marvel film is good
It's 85mil less than Doctor Strange and that didn't make a billion either
Funny since you morons have been trying to claim that Black Adam making less than that during its entire run somehow made it a success
I can't imagine being that deep into company wars that you see anyone disagreeing with you as an enemy playing for the "other team". Black Adam failed utterly but this should have opened bigger considering the hype

How does Marvel do it?
ironically reading the comics
I'm not seeing any Satisfied Neat Horseshoe Crab in that gif
The grifters are SEETHING
Oh man they are livid they can't shit on this would be called racist
Are you dense? They're already shitting on it and will shit on it harder after it comes out
I mean they will get frowned on more for that by attacking "their" movie
Didn't stop them from hating black Adam.
Nobody considers the Rock black. Not even the Chinese because they love him over there
>nobody considers the rock black
he's not black, but he's definitely a mix of multiple minorities.
I thought he was some sort of pacific islander, is he actually mystery meat?
one of the few family guy skits that are actually 100% on the money.
He is half Black half Samoan. His dad looks like he could be something like 30% white 70% black.
OG fans know the truth and remember Rock in the NoD.

I expected better with their dead Boseman shield
back up to 91
I'm seeing 101 reviews and 90%
seems it keeps switching between 91 and 90 as more reviews come in
It's likely going to slide down into the 80's then
It will probably end up between 85-92. That average is pretty good too.
Manolobros (Spain) don't like it
Of course Spain is going to hate it, americans are the only self-hating audience that likes watcihng their ancestors portrayed as evil tyrants
Well it's in the 80's now. Wakanda Forever is officially a worse movie than Teen Titans Go to the Movies
Jornos are batshit insane, they all went completely mad over the first one losing its 100% score
This wasn't a legitimate article, dude. It was clickbait because articles with Trump and Black Panther in the title would get a lot of traffic.
That's it. It was someone being moronic on purpose for money
>reviews complaining about shoehorned Riri
They need to take Young Avengers slower.

It’s going to make less than the first film but sure, Cinemaphile and /misc/ btfo

88% now. So at best it's unremarkable
And now it's 87%. Sinking faster than I thought it would
>Wen they remember to send the checks on time
Yes, it has a big score. So what? Am I supposed to hate it now? Because of what? Because it’s a black movie?
It's already at 87 already. It's a run of the mill Marvel film
Again, so what.
