I saw the original thread on here so I made a thread on Cinemaphile about it and I guess someone on Cinemaphile thought this board should have one too even though there was already one here and used my image
It seems that they're doing a mass round of tax write-offs. Several Adult Swim shows and some Cartoon Network shows have been getting all traces wiped from official websites/services.
Huh they're dropping Elliot, did not expect that. That show should've just given him an alien girlfriend or someone he liked, to copy the Gumball plotline
>so what does this mean? they're not allowed to air or promote these shows anywhere anymore?
Basically if they say the shows are completely worthless they get a tax break, but that only works if they stop trying to profit off the shows by showing them or selling them.
They are allowed to air or promote the shows, it's just they'd have to pay off the tax break to do so, which isn't fricking happening, cause that will never be profitable.
Think of it like abandoning a rundown property. You can't then go back and use it or you didn't abandon it. Same shit happened to Megas XLR.
makes sense. Megas XLR is on HBO Max in Latin America though, so it seems like they can still do some stuff with the shows they write off. unless they're only restricted in the United States
because people worked on those shows
people you could network with
people who, if you say a single bad word about, could prevent you from getting jobs int he future
We talk about cartoon community, not about israeli/American cartoon industry. American cartoon fanboys have nothing to win for shilling shitty American cartoon.
I will admit I liked the theme song of season 2. It's strangely addictive. The animation was also nice at times too. I also liked the episode where Cheetara burps like 6 times for no reason.
Was the show runner for thundercats roar involved in this episode? I think I recall hearing the people who worked on TR weren't involved, but I can't confirm or deny.
why does Warner Bros keep trying to make Thundercats a thing? the 2011 reboot was a flop. Roar was a flop. no one actually cares about or remembers the original show other than a minority of people drunk on nostalgia. just let it stay dead
Good.
Does someone has the "good" image with the skinhead looking dude?
I prefer CDi Zelda.
>Does someone has the "good" image with the skinhead looking dude?
This is probably not what you are looking for, but it's the closest I have in my reaction images folder.
Even Warner wants to pretend TCR never happened
>The Mysterious Show Purge
>CN schedule Twitter
So is this a viral marketing campaign or something?

the fungies was still airing new episodes on europe before it was "banned"
Huh they're dropping Elliot, did not expect that.

I wonder how long its going to take for CN to just die
Around their 30th birthday.
Would Final Space be a tricky one considering it aired on three networks?
so what does this mean? they're not allowed to air or promote these shows anywhere anymore?

>Beef House dead
>Three Busy Debras will probably run for another 3 seasons
>Three Busy Debras will probably run for another 3 seasons
they dropped a meteor on those b***hes in the last season, not that its a confirmation of anything with shows like that, but still
Final Spacebros...
Looks like warner got real financially screw over from these shows to write them off as tax reasons
How is pulling them from streaming going to allow them to write them off?
Image won’t load for me, someone list it please
Same, always get 404 error
Same with me.
Adult Swim:
>Block or Charge (Stream show)
>Beef House
>Daytime Fighting League (Stream show)
>Dream Corp LLC
>Final Space
>JJ Villard's Fairy Tales
>Last Stream on the Left (Stream show)
Cartoon Network:
>Elliott from Earth
>The Fungies
>Power Players
>Thundercats Roar
Thanks anon
mao mao is next mark my words
>All Engine Go hasn't been cancelled yet
Which nutjob executive greenlit this shit?
Anyone has a MEGA before it becomes lost media?
Nobody cares
it's on kimcartoon and probably a hundred other sites it isn't going to be lost media
this is one of the few times ill honestly say
Its better off dead and forgotten
I'm not the sort of that would hold up older properties as sacred cows but this shit looks so fricking ugly.
>Make a crappy show
>It gets cancelled
Why is that so hard for the cartoon community to accept? Why do they defend every pile of crap under the sun?
because people worked on those shows
people you could network with
people who, if you say a single bad word about, could prevent you from getting jobs int he future
they say its comradery, it's really nepotism
>muh animation industry
HAH, no.
We talk about cartoon community, not about israeli/American cartoon industry. American cartoon fanboys have nothing to win for shilling shitty American cartoon.
The exact thing you described is cronyism.
>the petition worked
lel
>stinky steve
They fricking knew, there’s no way they didn’t know
is anyone else having trouble viewing the webms?
Have you tried taking Steve Jobs' rotten wiener out of your mouth?
Why did they even bother to release this show at all? Should've shitcanned it all together.
Wasn't the director some bigwig's son?
He's at least a close relative and he's now developing an original cartoon on HBO max
I like the energy of the Aquaman show. But the art style is still shit. So I've little hope.
And nothing of value was lost.
Probably for tax reasons
This is how it could have been
Sorry but those breasts are illegal now.
This but unironically.
Women are not allowed to have boobs
Fat but with no breasts.
If you're lucky maybe they'll be allowed to have a horrific distended unreasonably fat ass
Which is the worst kind of fat.
That's straight up nightmare fuel.
That kind of shit makes me feel genuinely sad for a woman. Thats the biggest loss in the genetic lottery they can have.
Move to Australia, it's illegal NOT to have boobs like that over there.
Same Australia that banned Dead or Alive Xtreme 3?
this is how it should have been
based /ss/cats
Ah yes, back when America comics knew how to draw women...And how to define "woman".
So funny that no one asked for this shit and no one cares
I will admit I liked the theme song of season 2. It's strangely addictive. The animation was also nice at times too.
I also liked the episode where Cheetara burps like 6 times for no reason.
Good. Now do the same to TTG.
God, yes please, why won't that shit just die already
it prints money
😉
And no one gave two shits.
80s Chads stay winning
The frick? Is this because it was namedropped in Stranger Things?
Meanwhile, at wco:
Who has the rights to thundercats, maybe is license problem?
Warner Bros, has owned 100% of it since 1989
they just want to cleanse their hands of this major PR disaster
Good intro but that's it.
Are the good ones safe?
damn! this kinda makes me believe that there's a God that loves us up there. thank you Lord!
I hope this show serves as a warning and message against making more TTG style shows.
>I hope this show serves as a warning and message against making more TTG style shows.
How did the Aquaman show do?
Sounds about right.
>Latin America
based
>HBO max LatAm
LatAm probably have the biggest hate boner for this show, so, not surprise
Thank god LatAm still has some taste in that regard.
Seems like Americans just go out of their way to like ugly shit nowadays.
Americans have been brainwashed into thinking that ugly = beauty
Was the show runner for thundercats roar involved in this episode? I think I recall hearing the people who worked on TR weren't involved, but I can't confirm or deny.
Forgot to link to the right post:
Meant this episode here:
Garbage in, garbage out
CN is finally doing something right
Good. The show is a calfart abomination and it deserves to be memory holed.
>Calarts
As much as I despise Roar, the crew weren't Calarts alumni.
Oh.
What other shows did CN purge?
Finally, some good news for once.
Well the show runner said it wasn't for us, so it looks like they are just making sure the people it's not for don't get to watch it.
>crap show disappears
>Mysterious
