>Can’t into standup comedy
Stand up as a format requires an audience for the comedian to play off of. Without the audience, you’re just a cringy youtube/sketch comedian.
It wasn't his best work, but that's largely due to the conditions he had to work with, doing it in his living room and making it a Netflix special. It was very PG rated for Norm which he can do well sometimes but his crass observations and interpretations of things is usually funnier. He basically did this whole stand-up act and much more with hilarious jokes a couple years ago that shows exactly what it should have been.
I also think his struggles with mortality (I mean every one of us struggles with mortality, I should say "his impending death that only he knew about") probably made him less funny. Can't blame the guy either. Having been sick and hospitalised I know how un-edgy and un-fun it makes you.
I agree with the quality of it. Partially because of boredom and partially because of sadness. The man's given me more laughs than anyone ever, anyway. Such a loss.
What's next for Norm? Death!
I hear they call it a "dirt nap".
Ripe old age for a crocodile hunter
Y'ever be talkin' with a comedian and they got some disease or some shit? You feel like you're going to catch something...and it hurts timing.
Critics are calling it everything from shit to fricking shit
it reminds me of that tragedy
>if we don't stop this bawd shaming then young women might stop becoming bawds!
It was pretty good material, problem is the format of a guy just telling jokes into a camera kinda works against it.
he did the same set in 2019 with crowds theres bootlegs on youtube and its way funnier
you're the reason why sitcoms have laugh tracks

>without the audience i don't know when to laugh ;_;
the absolute state of (you)s
>comedians and comedy movie/tv jokes are delivered the way
Imagine being this dumb
More of a comment really
No. It wasnt.
They shouldn't have released this.
>Nothing Special
Accurate
Let's cherish the comedians we still have
His jokes were decent, but standup without an audience is always gonna be a bit awkward
Awkward humour is the hip thing

Wait it was this set. Both are still top tier stand-up acts

What an old chunk of coal. But, that's modern medicine for you!
I liked it.
Shitty audio but in front of an audience, does it seem better?
9/11? Remember what happened?
I like bananas!
