No he fricking doesn't. Ultron is the manifestation of Hank's obsession and ego. Tony overcame most of that in his origin, since he was always a positive portrayal of an industrialist who saw the error of his ways and tried to use his money and power for good.

Ultron and Hank are as inseparable as Joker and Batman.

As someone who likes MCU Ultron this is correct, they just had to adapt to no Pym. I wonder if they could do it back if they'd have some stuff about Tony or Bruce finding old Pym information that was the key to making Ultron.

the problem with Hank is the character only seems to exist to frick up and cause problems.
Giving Ultron to Tony should be a plus for Hank fans but it seems they only like the version fo Pym that can never succeed.
Instead we get a universe where Tony has Friday and Hank has frickin Ultron

Okay. Tony builds the AI and suit, then fricks off on a Jack fueled romp, leaving Hank to improve and maintain the design. Hank becomes a surrogate father to the ai, trying to steer it away from the Tony-esque fascistic sensibilities. Better?

Hank never succeeds by the very nature of cape comics, they never fricking end. Everytime he faces his demons, is forgiven for the slap and Ultron is beaten, some other writer can just reset all that back to zero because the show must go on and characters need conflict to work.

I vaguely remember a Deodato Avengers era issue where he made a cool robot to fight AIM or whatever. Also in the original "Lang takes over the Fantastic Four" run from the early oughts I think he invents some shit. In the mean time here's this thing

Oh yeah I remember that, that's the biggest feat that comes to mind. And being fair that was the time when Scott was REALLY motivated as in "Need to beat the shit out of Doom for killing my daughter" kind of motivation.
