Criss did a “trick” to my Dad when we were on vacation in LA. He said he was going to make my Dad “fly”. They filmed a bunch of shots of us, I was told to say “no way man, no freakin way” and they recorded that like 15 times. So they do the setup where Criss is waving his hands around my Dad, then they tell cut. They then hook Dad up to a harness and use a crane to lift him, then position the camera in a way that the crane was behind a tree. I was told to say “oh no Dad gone back, put him down!” And act really concerned. My mom was told to fall to the ground and freak out. And my dad was supposed to act like he was in a trance. We did it because they paid us 200 dollars each.
At the end Criss waves his arms and they lower Dad, and my mom runs up and hugs him and dad snaps out of the “trance”.
I never saw the trick on TV and nobody ever said they saw me so I think we ended up on the cutting room floor. 600 bucks was pretty sweet tho

best thing i saw was some magician pushing objects through each other on the street, i thought its most amazing thing, even after i learned how its done, he swaps for rigged objects and swaps back after trick and gives the normal object for you to check while he hides the rigged on him, im still just as impressed with execution as you cant tell when he swaps them
