What a bunch of gay Black person bullshit this was. I can't believe that in the final episode, with everything looking bleak, they decided to have the MC have a "blackout" and then all of his enemies were just dead. Shitty show with terrible writing. I like Oscar Isaac and the female lead, they were alright. Stupid fricking show.

      Anonymous

It wasn't out of no where. He had been blacking out in other moments of pique when the hidden third persona emerge. You even get clues to it all throughout.

        Anonymous

The blackouts happened earlier, but using that as an excuse to not explain how the MC gets out of an unwinnable situation is not a callback to earlier story elements, it's terrible writing.

I kinda see where you are coming from. Maybe they will show a play by play on how he did get out of it, but I didn't see it as hopeless a situation as you did maybe.

            Anonymous

They didn't show a play-by-play, the show is over. It was terrible writing and a slap in the face to anyone who watched it.

A next season isn't confirmed, and they have no plan for the future of the character. I tried to enjoy this, and it was mostly enjoyable. It's just the asspulls and bad writing that gets me.

Midwit complaint from someone who wants more lasers and cgi. The ending absolutely fit in context with the show, the real sin is how rushed the finale is, there is no connective tissue, no particles in that episode, pure noun verb no adjective.

That was literally the only part of the show I didn't like personally. It was a little too staged, but my wife liked it because most shows are drowning us in black people & diversity that is American instead of international. So frick yeah a female Egyptian superhero that isn't just a WE WUZ or some shit where they grew up in Harlem or Philly.

look I can imagine being an Egyptian teen and feeling horribly underepresented in Hollywood, so I didn't have a Nerdrotic freakout over it I was just like "huh that's novel"

              Anonymous

That's what I am saying. My only issue was that it felt staged. Idk how to make it more organic & its not even a big deal to me.

Wandavision is still the only liked MCU TV show because it's the only one that utilized the television medium. Moon Knight and the others are just 2 hour low budget movies with 2 more hours of padding added in.

I really want a new age mythic movie like the old Clash of the Titans, where we get to have retelling of mythic events. You could even do it like a connected universe if you had to sell the idea to Hollywood.

Maybe do movie of a bunch of the famous Greek heros & then have Troy be the "Avengers style" tie together movie

If we add the shows that were previously Netflix shows (they were always made by Disney's studios though with very little input from Netflix)

Daredevil >>>>>>>>>>> Wandavision >> Moon Knight > Falcon & Winter Soldier > Luke Cage > The Punisher > Jessica Jones Season 1 > Iron Fist > Jessica Jones S2 and S3

Haven't watched Loki and Ms Marvel and likely never will unless I really, really need something to watch and there's really, really nothing else.

          D+ is different from Netflix

            Anonymous

Those Netflix shows were made by ABC Studios (Disney) and temporarily published by Netflix, but now they're on Disney+ with all the Netflix logos removed.

A lot of you people don't seem to understand how Netflix works. They actually don't create anything. They buy rights to things and then put their logo on it.

              janusz killtroonski

they had a different approach and style when they made those netflix shows though. they were very boring and filler driven, while the disney+ ones are more action and CGI driven.

              Anonymous

The style & tone & pacing are different. I never said that the Netflix shit wasn't rubberstamped by Disney or whatever. Fricking moron

                janusz killtroon

at least with the disney+ ones the plot is always an excuse to get to the next setpiece. the netflix ones would drag on literally forever with absolutely nothing happening 90% of the time.

now we've had zeus who was the ruler of omnipotence city where the gods of the universe collected together to discuss god shit
its a subtle connection but its there

Daredevil was the only good MCU show, followed by Luke Cage, and I didn't really like Cage, it was just the next least awful.

Everything else has either been shockingly terrible or offensively written.
