What's the point of this? The game is already a movie. You're just making a worst version where you can't even decide what happens. It's not like Until Dawn is some kinda of revolutionary horror. The appeal is that is a multiple endings game.
Every so often there's a movie game that just throws its whole budget into making shit look/feel cinematic with no one who can actually write, direct, and sometimes even act on the whole team. Gamers overrate them to the high heavens and expose themselves as complete fricking idiots every time. David Cage is the most notable of these creators, with Telltale and the Until Dawn people being close seconds. Naughty Dog are some of the only ones who've actually made games that feel like they were written and directed with any competency, so of course Cinemaphile hates them.
Monkey paw. I always wanted this to be made but with the same actors of the vidya, but they're probably too old now. Unless they set it several years later.
Still, they will have all Black folk and sand Black folk in the cast.
>I always wanted this to be made but with the same actors of the vidya
Why? what did it do that was unique, it's a take on 80s horrors and they still make those today and they still suck to watch
We don't have enough wendigo kino and I liked the ending where Hannah recognizes her brother and takes him away to presumably make him turn too. Also Peter Stormare automatically elevated it to kino.
In the end it doesn't have to be super unique, horror tropes are fun and way better than trying to subvert viewers' expectations.
It was basically already a fricking movie. The one gimmick was that it was a slasher movie, but you could interact with certain outcomes. This is fricking dumb as hell.
But thats trash tbh
I mean.. not trash.. but at least to me, it felt like a quick cashgrab were they only copied the formula without understanding, what made Until Dawn so special in terms of story and atmo
Until Dawn was supervised by Sony. That's why you can only buy it on Playstation 4.
>go to see movie >video game starts playing on screen >xbox controller ascends through the arm rest >when the player character has to make a decision, audience members are prompted to select an option on their controller >button presses act as votes, and the highest voted option is selected
Would it be a kino movie going experience?
kino incoming
Wasn't that an interactive story video game? that's basically a movie
Until Dawn was literally already a movie

Maybe it's some type of spinoff or a sequel. That's the only way this makes sense remaking the game as a movie would be moronic.
>ESL circlejerk thread
What a weird new obsession.
Nah, he's a Swede who's getting work because they think he's one of them.
this dumb moviegame is one of the most contrived pieces of slop ever produced. This is going to be wretched Sony garbage three layers deep

v likes Uncharted 2
Imagine thinking Neil Druckmann is a better writer than Larry Fessenden.
Are they really gonna make a movie about a game that's about being a generic horror movie?

But the two leads and the best girl were all whites

David F Sandberg's project picks are strange.
Whatever as long as he's happy or whatever.
>Movie gayme movie

Why? The movie was already made in 2015. All the characters dies if I remember correctly.
Until Dawn was awesome. Give me another one with 5 short stories so that it's more replayable to see different endings/outcomes.
I've only checked out Men of Medan and that was trash
I think, Until Dawn was a once in a series success

That's literally the Dark Pictures Anthology

Okay
idris elba
~~*berg*~~
Probably the best movie game in that genre
The Quarry is shit, hayden a cute tho
Most of the telltale games are shit, except TWAU and the first season of TWD
Detriot is okay, Until Dawn is way better though
Heavy Rain was alright, twist was too obvious
Beyond two souls was shit
The Dark pictures games, are uttershit you wonder how they made Until Dawn with the shit they're currently shitting out with that anthology of games
The jerma985 playthrough of this game which is still on youtube is fricking hilarious. No way a movie can do his playthrough justice.
