It's been a metaphor for sex, orgasms and STDs at least since Carmilla, which predated Dracula (and it also was in Dracula).
      Readlets are so pathetic.

      >Vampire movie
      >Vampires are weak to garlic and crosses but not islamic or buddhist religious symbols

Again, read Dracula (carefully) for why.

Your mistake was assuming that people read, and I don't mean that people don't read classic literature. I mean if it's not on social media, then most people won't read it.

its implied that the kiss of the vampire has a supernatural charming effect on the victim, who experiences bliss/rapture while being drained (if the vampire desires)

vampires in this setting create a harem of 'blood dolls' as living livestock which they rotate through for fresh blood supply, and these victims willingly participate because the sensation is so good/they are charmed

as for my exgirlfriend who had a vampire fetish and wanted me to bite her while fricking her, she discovered that having a massive sore bruise on her throat was a a lot less fun than she had hoped, and blamed me for doing it to her despite her explicitly asking and hornyposting about it to me for weeks

My wife works in an office, but loves her neck sucked and gets mad if I get a little too into it and leave a hickey. Honestly, it's kind of annoying how easily she bruises from even slightly rough sex.

    >Bella, did I ever tell you about vampire venom? Venom is a toxin that is produced by saliva glands within a vampire's mouth. It serves six purposes:
    >As the basis for their physiology.
    >As a means to paralyze their prey in pain to prevent them from escaping.
    >As a pleasant scent to lure in the vampires' human victims.
    >As a toxin poisonous to animals and shape-shifters.
    >To repair a torn limb of a vampire.
    >And, very occasionally, as a means for vampires to propagate their species. The victim cannot run so the vampire can kill the victim or allow her/him to change.
    >When a vampire bites a human, the venom will be passed from the vampire's mouth into the person's bloodstream. If the blood contaminated with venom isn't fully sucked away, the human's heart will pump the venom throughout his or her cardiovascular system and start to infect every cell it passes within the host's body. Over the span of 2-3 days, the venom will have saturated all cells within the host, completing his or her transformation into a vampire. The process is known to be slow and painful, described with the feeling of being burned alive. It is a bad friend.

      >There's no way my pious wife would have sex with that rich big-dicked Chad! He used his evil demon powers to hypnotize her into wanton acts of carnality. Including sodomy and also one time she licked the outside of his butthole, but not the inside, she swears.
At least it's more believable than a "virgin birth."

What the frick are you talking about?

    It makes scientific sense.
If you've ever experienced a sudden decrease in blood pressure to the brain (being choked out, coughing too hard, etc) you'd know you feel light headed and about to faint/lose consciousness. Your head feels like it reels and spins and you might see stars and lose proprioception and much of conscious thought. A vampire sucking the blood from your carotid and therefore denying it to your brain would result in a similar outcome.

But you have two of those as backup. Losing one for supply wouldn't choke you out.

        Anonymous

The sudden decrease in pressure would be enough to cause it. And it doesn't matter if you have two tubes going to the head when the blood itself is leaving your body.

I like how the Vampire: The Masquerade rulebook says that vampires aren't inherently harmed by any object, but by the faith the person holding it has in what that object represents, which is why all the deadliest hunters carry crosses because they're fire and brimstone Inquisiton types, but also Gordon Gekko could defeat most vampires by waving his Amex Platinum card at them
