In the book they're both equally right and wrong. Green side calls upon primogeniture and established precedents, adherence to laws, Andal tradition. Blacks call upon might makes right, Targaryen exceptionalism, and realpolitik.
In the show it's clearly the blacks. In the first 7 episodes it's actually nuanced, but in episodes 8 9 10 the show irreversibly sides with the blacks. It stops highlighting the ways blacks are in the wrong, starts pretending those things matter. It emotionally convinces the audience all the transgressions of the blacks are actually noble and heartwarming. It fails to establish what exactly motivates the greens, and it changes some of their motivations to be much more fradulent than the book, and it makes some of their characters as evil as possible while also undermining any of their more compelling scenes.
Aemond's likeability isn't actually that relevant for how the greens are perceived. You could turn Aemond into a saint if you wanted but Aegon's a cowardly pedophile rapist drunkard, Alicent is Moms 4 Trump, Criston is the designated incel, Larys is not only pure evil but also a fetish freak, Otto is Littlefinger 2.0. The only innocent green so far (Helena) seems to hate every other green's guts in the show, she cried at Aegon's coronation and looked away.

Otto suffers from the same ambiguity that the writers have toward daemon. With daemon it’s just more obvious they tried to change their minds halfway through about who he was. My theory is that scene will be an introduction scene to a character they want you to think is a bad guy. We know Hugh is a good character with a wife and sick kid so I think it will be Ulf. In the show it's clearly the blacks. In the first 7 episodes it's actually nuanced, but in episodes 8 9 10 the show irreversibly sides with the blacks. It stops highlighting the ways blacks are in the wrong, starts pretending those things matter. It emotionally convinces the audience all the transgressions of the blacks are actually noble and heartwarming. It fails to establish what exactly motivates the greens, and it changes some of their motivations to be much more fradulent than the book, and it makes some of their characters as evil as possible while also undermining any of their more compelling scenes.
