>Namor (Tenoch Huerta) is the ruler of the underwater kingdom of Tlālōcān and fights Spanish conquistadors during the colonization of the Americas in the 1500s.
>On present day, King T’Challa dies and his sister Shuri (Letitia Wright) becomes the protector of Wakanda, but is reluctant to replace T’Challa as its ruler.
>Meanwhile, young inventor Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne) attends MIT as part of Shuri’s Wakanda Outreach Program and creates a device to locate Vibranium.
>Riri’s mentor Dr. Graham (Lake Bell) uses her device to search for Vibranium in the ocean and awakens Namor, who kills Graham and her team.
>Namor sends his enforcers Namora (Mabel Cadenas) and Attuma (Josué Maychi) to kill Riri and destroy the device. She fights them with a makeshift armor made of spare car parts.
>Shuri and Okoye (Danai Gurira) rescue Riri with the help of Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) and take her and the device to Wakanda for protection.
>Shuri and Riri become friends, while Okoye becomes involved with another Dora Milaje, Aneka (Michaela Coel).
>Namor visits Wakanda during T’Challa’s funeral and demands Riri and the device. Wakanda refuses, and Namor declares war.
>Shuri reproduces the Heart-Shaped Herb and ventures into the astral plane to ask T’Challa for advice, but instead finds Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan), who teaches her how to be a warrior.
>Shuri shares the Heart-Shaped Herb with the Dora Milaje and gives them Vibranium suits, turning them into Black Panthers. Riri also builds herself a Vibranium armor.
>Meanwhile, Queen Ramonda (Angela Basset), M’Baku (Winston Duke) and Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) prepare the five tribes for war.
>Namor floods and invades Wakanda, and Ramonda dies in the assault. Shuri and M’Baku fight Namor, Nakia and Riri fight Namora, Okoye and the Dora Milaje fight Attuma.
>Shuri defeats Namor, but spares his life, and Namor and his forces retreat. Shuri appoints M’Baku as the new king of Wakanda while she continues as its new Black Panther.
>Nakia reveals that she has a son with T’Challa and Shuri, Okoye and M’Baku begin to train him to succeed his father as king and as Black Panther in the future.
>In a mid-credits scene, Doctor Doom reveals himself as the mastermind behind the war between Wakanda and Atlantis.
>In a post-credits scene, Riri locates Vibranium in the Savage Land in Antarctica, and Valentina de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) becomes determined to obtain it.
>they really went with the "muh boseman is irreplaceable" bullshit
The morons who run the MCU are spineless hacks who get all their ideas off reddit for years now.
whats funny is they will recast black panther in 10 years because they already said they plan to recast everyone
10 years seems a bit early though.
ten years with out steve tony etc is plenty of time for people to accept they need to recast
They ran with Steve/Tony/Thor with 10 years solid, and now they'll have ALL the X-Men, the Fantastic Four mythos, and are just now introducing a lot of characters.
They could easily go 20+ before rebooting it all.
I expect RDjr and Evans back before a reboot, as well.
>Fantastic Four
Oh boy can't wait for Sue to get BEAN'd
Lmao it’s gonna be funny watching Reed lose Sue to Pequeño Gaucho
from what I know and its not much they want to introduce the X-men proper at the same time they do what ever they plan to do to hand wave new actors playing steve and tony (multiverse, magic) so that they can have a "classic" line up thats why they keep saying don't expect the x-men anytime soon. They want the FF movie to be kind of the start. I expect they will have the FF movie lead into a heroes reborn movie so they can recast everyone
And they had John David Washington right there. He and Boseman look like they’re related.
Fun fact both Washington and Boseman are regularly dubbed by the same seiyuu in Japanese Makoto Tamura
Why did they go with elaine instead of kramer?
sounds like it could have been a good plot but ruined with focus on characters like Riri
Isnt wakanda land locked and surrounded by mountains? Is he going to flood all of Africa to get there? Is he just going to just make this giant water spout that is going to hook that shot?
>Kill this girl for me
>No
>THIS MEANS WAR
Sounds kinda' dumb.
>Julia Louis-Dreyfus
I'm IN.
>young inventor Riri Williams [...]creates a device to locate Vibranium.
>Namor sends his enforcers Namora (Mabel Cadenas) and Attuma (Josué Maychi) to kill Riri and destroy the device.
>Namor visits Wakanda during T’Challa’s funeral and demands Riri and the device. Wakanda refuses, and Namor declares war.
refuses, and Namor declares war.
>>In a mid-credits scene, Doctor Doom reveals himself as the mastermind behind the war between Wakanda and Atlantis.
???
At least be coherent in your shitpost. Where the frick in this clusterfrick of events did Doom insert himself. And why Doom if no Richards.
Lake Bell works for Doom and disturbed Atlantis on purpose.
I like it. my little antivaxxer can't be this cute!
I like that Shuri wants to be a Panther instead of king, very in-character.
Wanting to stretch her pussy out and make her call me daddy doesn't make her a good black panther.
MBJ back as a reluctant BP, shuri is queen.
I like Shuri and I'm glad they didn't get rid of her just cause her actress said dumb stuff on Twitter
>That Namor
Holy shit that looks bad.
It honestly wasn't THAT bad until she antivaxxer shared the herbs with the bald guard ladies and gave them all black panther suits. What the frick is the point of Shuri now? Not only are each of those bodyguards better at fighting than her due to the fact that they're all more experienced, better fighters and stronger since she still young, but also have superpowers and the same suit as her.
am i the only one mad M'baku becomes king but in canon he worships a ape not a panther.
Hes gonna switch religions and go from king of one tribe to another??
homie, none of BPs religion makes sense anymore.
Namor is what now
different enough so they don't have to pay royalties to the estate
Its more not introducing another King of Atlantis character.
>>Riri’s mentor Dr. Graham (Lake Bell) uses her device to search for Vibranium in the ocean and awakens Namor, who kills Graham and her team.
>killing those breasts
Yep, Namor's a bad guy.
>creates a device to locate Vibranium.
Bullshit Wakanda doesn't have this yet when they didn't just industrialize Vibranium mining, they pretty much already automated it.
sends his enforcers Namora (Mabel Cadenas) and Attuma (Josué Maychi) to kill Riri and destroy the device.
Wait why?
>but instead finds Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan), who teaches her how to be a warrior.
Now THAT's a shitpost. Imagine if Red Skull tutored Sam on how to be Captain America.
>Aztec Atlantis
…okay that’s based as frick though.
It's a bit funny considering that the Aztec empire is more recent than Oxford University.
Why look for Vibranium in the ocean?
Its the largest largely unexplored tracts of earth, and a great deal of it is international.
>People in this thread care more about Namor raceswap than the fact he jobbed the whole movie
Namor always jobs
shares the Heart-Shaped Herb with the Dora Milaje and gives them Vibranium suits, turning them into Black Panthers.
>everyone gets Iron Man armor
>everyone gets Thor lightning
>everyone gets BP herb
Antman bros, I'm afraid Pym particles is next...
Power should be shared.
Tell that to Chavez who denied it from Wanda.
>blacks vs mexicans
oh shit. here we go
Return of the mcBlack person
>We can't hurt the legacy of this character by being disrespectful, after the great performance that Chad gave us in two movies
>So we'll fricking kill him
Seems like a reasonable strategy.
Allegedly due to Letitia Wright's anti-vax ideology stalling production several times, they increased M'Baku's role and have filmed a version of the ending where he becomes the new Black Panther, but haven't decided which version they will use in the final film.
They'll be splicing and reshooting this film up to the last minutes like the rest of phase 4.
>Riri williams starts a war
YIKES, at least make her a Doom protege or something like that.
Or the one man to escape Wakanda. Cept he's dead now.
>mesoamerica Atlantis
>more m’baku
Excellent
>everything else
Meh, probably won’t watch like rest of phase four
They should have just recast T'Challa.
They jumped the character up too much.
Weren't they writing Shuri out because her actress was getting shit from twitter? Last I read she got sick/hurt and was cut down to maybe 10 minutes screen time. Honestly this sounds worse than Dark World. Guarantee it opens with a montage of Boseman scenes and a big "Moment of silence" bit.
>was getting shit from twitter?
Qrd?
She reposted some guys antivax stuff. Said guy hates trans. People began saying she was antivax and hates trans and began demanding didney get rid of her.
Oh
Disne people tried to use the fake gay owned bot army from twitter and some cheap pr articles to shame her in the eyes of the public
The only thing I'm remotely interested in is Doctor Doom. Dude could carry his own film
Just pull a Michael b Jordan from an alternate timeline or say tchalla put him in stasis.
He is brought back and finds out later klau mutated because if vibranium nukes wakanda now he's looking to do radda radda.
Becomes black panther but leaves governance of wakanda to shuri.
I forgot. Strong female and queer mcu font need no ebul het men or their any ungroomable children.
I'm curious to see if they can pull off a somewhat coherent narrative, if this movie isn't a total disaster it'll be a miracle.
Namor goes to war over some slag with a gizmo, you decide from that.
>mostly female cast
>nigress Iron Man instead of going with his daughter or just not having a new Iron Man
look the Morgan Stark getting her thunder stolen backlash is gonna be glorious
>Namor kills people
>first target is a hot innocent woman
Oh yeah this is gonna go great with Latino audiences.
