because they're both 10/10 kinos. no movie has so correctly portrayed alienation and loneliness in the woke era like this kino
I agree it's the Freddy Got Fingered of this decade and I respect it for that, but the premise of the movie is actually good and it could have unironically been a great sequel if Lana bothered to storyboard it and actually have choreographed fight scenes. Instead we got a movie that was intentionally poorly made in an attempt to ensure the death of the franchise
Larry did that so braindead morons who only like the action would have to listen to what these movies are saying for once, the fight scenes being shit plays into both the meta themes of the movie and the plot >inb4 its shit on purpose
yes
I would have been happy if the movie was just constant lore dumps without any action scenes, but the action scenes were legitimately embarrassing to watch. I can respect that it's shit on purpose and I think it's one of the boldest big budget films to come out in a long time, but it still leaves a feeling of deep dissatisfaction, intentionally or not
>but it still leaves a feeling of deep dissatisfaction
that's the point, it's redpilling you to the nature of the matrix, waking you up. you see that movie then see capeshit and all the rock schlock and go "huh it's the exact same tier of awfulness, I wonder why ~~*they*~~ are making entertainment so awful and soulless? has nothing to do with making us more miserable like NPH was saying at the end of the movie, right? right?"
I get it. My complaint is that the film probably could have made the same points without being so deliberately shit. The craftsmanship of the original matrix trilogy shits all over modern capeshit. If the wachowskis had actually wanted to, they could have made a genuine masterpiece with the concepts in Ressurections, while also making a deliberate statement about the shittiness of modern blockbusters. Instead Lana went with a more cynical approach, which was amusing but imo still a missed opportunity.

There is no worthwhile concept in resurrections. It was a movie that never needed to be made. The story is already finished. Just because they're forced to make another, doesn't mean it's connected to the previous. And this ensures that stays true instead of never ending ever worse sequels like Matrix 10 Rise of the Oracle's Daughter, Trinity/Neo must fight Smith for the umpteenth time

I just don't buy it. this is the same as not wiping your ass and thinking you're making a political statement. if it was so important to undermine the action credentials of the franchise, they could have just not done action. doing action badly undermines the movie itself such that any critiques or commentaries it's attempting to levy fall flat because the whole thing comes across as poorly made and amateurish
I get that lana-sisters want so much for the "its bad on purpose" angle to be true. I've always been a huge matrix fan. I wish it were true too. but it's bad and it doesn't matter if it was on purpose

that's not even the main similarity just the easiest to show what I mean, rewatch the movie knowing Larry didn't wanna make it (like tom green) and that he hates all the modern woke culture bullshit that has infested all levels of life
Freddie Got Finger was basically a huge prank against the studio for giving him millions of dollars to make whatever the frick he wanted. Lana did something similar when WB twisted his arm into dredging up the franchise
It's unironically really interesting. Until they free Neo again. At that point the film as well as the whole concept of Neo as 'the one' falls apart. Same problem as the other R&R Matrix films.
It really does. For me the story of how the machines reintegrate Thomas Anderson into the system and the machinations to keep him controlled is waaay more interesting.
They could have even played with the audiences perceptions and really leaned into it make the viewer question if he really was crazy.
It also shows the issue with Neo as a savior / leader of the resistance. It works in the 1st movie but the central issue with the character is blown to pieces in Resurrections.
He's a supposedly mythical figure that factions of the unplugged have spent decades trying to find. OK I'll take that to an extent.
But when they unplug him? Reeves' woeful acting and the way the character is written highlight the problem - I wouldn't follow that fricker to the mens room much less right against a 'system' that has seemingly left humanity alone for decades.
I actually like the first part of the movie, too. Once Neo is freed and they get Not Zion, it turns to shit.
I wish they leaned into making the whole movie a trippy schitzo post like how the first half was. the best ending would have been neo finally being freed from the matrix but not believing the real world was real and having a mental breakdown
It was easily one of the worst films made in the last 10 years. Easily. Only dumb brainlet leftists who think post-modernism is "clever" disagree.
it wasn't great but it was still trying to do something different from capeshit. the fact that you were compelled to vomit out "post-modernism" probably just means you hated it because trannies were involved
frick no. also unlike the original sequels, this doesn't even have good action.
it was actually insulting how bad the action scenes were. it made me almost believe the "it's bad on purpose" narrative just because they had to go out of their way to make such bad action sequences
Visually, yes. The trannies have a good eye for visually impressive scenes. The film itself was mediocre. It relied way too much on The Matrix callbacks and doesn't really have an identity of its own. Exactly like Star Wars 7.
No it wasn't. It looks like a tv show some of the time. Nothing of theirs has been visually great since Revolutions, just passing digital productions with a pretty shot now and then.
They should have never made another movie, since I knew it would undo everything they worked for in the original like how the Star Wars sequel trilogy did.
It's easy enough to believe. Why would they not just go ahead and make it with another director? Happens all the time with franchises, the upcoming Indy film is a recent example.
It changes nothing. The movie was going to be shit either way regardless of whether or not the trannies were involved, so why go out of your way to get your name attached to this mess?
that's the part that makes zero sense >well if the franchise is going to be ruined I should be the one to do it instead of trying to make something good
it's just a shitty cope for making a terrible movie
a fourth matrix movie didn't need to exist at all, but the studio was going to make it no matter what, and would keep pumping them out forever at a quality level that would be insulting to the other three movies.
so larry stepped in and made something that would ensure the franchise never continued.
>It changes nothing. The movie was going to be shit either way regardless of whether or not the trannies were involved, so why go out of your way to get your name attached to this mess?
why did Tom green insist on writing and directing his debut if it was still going to be terrible if it was made by another dudebro? maybe it's because the creators are shoving ur face in shit because it's the only way you capeslopping morons will wake the frick up to ~~*their*~~ plans
the studio was making another movie anyway. would you prefer the trainwreck we got that tried to have soul, or the trainwreck that a soulless studio would give us which would be capeshit but worse?
It really does. For me the story of how the machines reintegrate Thomas Anderson into the system and the machinations to keep him controlled is waaay more interesting.
They could have even played with the audiences perceptions and really leaned into it make the viewer question if he really was crazy.

>They could have even played with the audiences perceptions
what hurt the movie the most was that the movie had no respect for the audience. I mean, it literally spliced in scenes from the original movies because it didn't think we'd understand the references otherwise. and the massive exposition dumps because "our dumb audience needs to be walked through what's happening AGAIN". so many parts of the movie felt like it just had contempt for me as the viewer
>it literally spliced in scenes from the original movies because it didn't think we'd understand the references otherwise
Most of cinema-going audiences were literally shitting and pissing in diapers when the original trilogy was released.
It was promising up to the hour mark, but when they start with the matrix shit it just falls apart. It's a 3/10.
Don't think they gave a frick while making this.
that's the part that makes zero sense >well if the franchise is going to be ruined I should be the one to do it instead of trying to make something good
it's just a shitty cope for making a terrible movie
Doesn't explain why Keannanu came back. He doesn't need the money and he's got the Wick films to be dealing with. I doubt he's actually that close with the Wachowski sisters.
>I doubt he's actually that close with the Wachowski sisters.
He made three of his biggest movies with them. Movies take a lot of effort and time being around everyone involved, so yea he's close with them.
>last 2/3 of the movie is "we have to save Trinity"
that shit should have happened at the halfway point so something could actually happen in the rest of the movie
If they didn't have the budget for all the cool shit from the originals, then they should have gone in a wild direction, like doing post-Revolutions from Smith's POV. Here's a mock-up trailer
It was a very good waste of money, gender shit and crazy Asian aside.
Unironically this and Space Jam 2 are going to be cult films like Alien 3 in the future.
The first half is so good but making the fight scenes so bad in the second half was a step too far. If they'd kept everything the same but had passable fight scenes or maybe 0 zero fight scenes after they leave the matrix then it would be a great movie. >That's Jude, you can't trust him >movie ends and this awful cover blasts as the credits roll
the movie was never going to have serviceable/passable/good action because the studio was never going to shell out the money to hire the people that could make serviceable/passable/good action sequences or give anyone enough time to make serviceable/passable/good action sequences.
this is such a poorgay take. after you've already been financially successful in your career, your motivations are concerned with the content of your work, not the paycheck. you wouldn't understand since you're poor
>a bunch of edgelord devote a year of their life to making a bad movie just to throw a jab at corporate studio culture
they did exactly what they wanted to do with your time
>boohoo they gave us work and paid us
Worst part is the studio released it anyway, making it clear it is not an even good critique, it is just them b***hing.
Why do you complicate things so much? The movie was very bad, period. That is all.
The meta-commentary shit is one of the most cringe things that I have witnessed in cinema. With the biggest example of this being the new Scream movie. I wanted to disappear watching the meta-commentary in that movie.
If there is nothing more to tell just don't make a new movie. That is the problem with cinema nowadays, they have to keep making more and more movies about something that was once good to milk the nostalgia all they can. The Matrix should have ended in the third movie with the humans destroying the machines and that is all. 3 science fiction, action movies cool to watch with some interesting points about virtual reality and the possible future of humanity. The End. Or if you want to make a new movie or trilogy then take a new young protagonist that can do the fights well and not old Neo and Trinity. Make Bugs the new protagonist and continue the story, maybe with that thing of the machine civil war and some of them wanting to free humanity. That could have been a possible good way to continue the story. It shows that the AIs aren't just evil and cold and that they can be compassionate or human-like too. But with new protagonists. Neo, Trinity and Morpheus were the protagonists of the first chapter, now there is a new chapter in The Matrix story. I'm sure that the first one could have been disappointing for some people that wanted to see Neo, Trinity and Morpheus again but then if the movie is good then with the second one people will get into the new characters and story.
But no, they have to keep milking the cow and movies like this happen.
For me The Matrix will always be the 3 movies plus Animatrx. Nothing more.
But it was done by references and things like that not talking about the fricking movie, Reddit and Cinemaphile on the same movie. Making like a stupid debate of the movie inside of the same movie. It's the biggest shit that I have witnessed in a movie. I have never felt so much cringe.
The thing that comforts me is that the Matrix Trilogy was not only so great but so culturally influential and significant, that with all the passing years between it and this soulless sequel's creation, it's place is secured in history.
No one with any intelligence can ever confuse those movies with the nostalgiagrab, and no normie can even connect these two sides meaningfully since too much time has passed. A Song of Ice and Fire is overall permanently tarnished on the screen due to how bad the last few seasons were, but the Matrix will carry on.
There was no "one", the whole prophecy thing was another layer to the system of control as was the Oracle, the "one" (As in the person born with the code to control the Matrix) arose randomly like a bug but the Matrix made sure to keep him under control by giving him a false mission that would eventually result in the choice to reboot the virtual reality and re-start Zion, the overarching theme of the trilogy was that Neo did not need to be the "one", he was simply a random frick who had the code in his brain and when the time for the choice to be made came he made an illogical one, chosing to sacrifice all of Zion, the Matrix and the status quo for Trinity, which threw the entire system off into an unknown direction full of new possibilites, as discussed by the Oracle and the Architect at the end of the final movie.
the savior prophecy being artificial/forced doesn't mean there wasn't a type of person the machines would desire to fulfill the role, and it wasn't neo.
The prophecy of The One was made by the machines to control that bug that gave a random human the ability to change the matrix. But at the end of the day, independently of the prophecy being real or not, Neo was the human with that power. So in a sense he was The One or he could be if he didn't follow the path of that fake prophecy. Something that he did, not rebooting the matrix as the others before him.
Matrix 4 was the first movie I watched where the director actively kicked dirt in my face. It was such an unprovoked attack that I will never forgive her/him.
I think it had potential but the fact it was designed as a made for tv movie ensured that it looked cheap. Also the fact that Hugo Weaving isnt in it along with Lawrence Fishburn makes it really odd along with a side cast who lack charisma or prescence.
Its like if a bunch of college film school students came up with fanfiction and Keanu Reeves and Carrie Ann Moss showed up at their garage one day and decided to shoot it for the lulz.
I think the real meta analysis is that Hollywood is trashing on classic/cult films of legendary status in order to demoralize the population into accepting a certain narrative. Its like how they lie about Adolf Hitler or Jesus Christ in order to tarnish their legacy, this film is like israeli revenge on the Gentiles for producing films that could be enlightening or promote power in them.
They could have made a good film but they didnt. Im sure disney was capable of producing a good star wars sequel but didnt. The intent is to demoralize the public into accepting this shit as part of the original cannon.
Next thing you are going to see in 10 years is popular female characters being revealed to be hot trannies. Like oh Black Widow from Avengers or Wolverine, well actually they're trannies now and they were always trannies but hiding it.
the studios actively avoid competing with each other, meaning quality doesn't matter. they can't draw an audience large enough to justify any effort, so they inflate the budget, spending only a fraction of it on making the movie, and try to score some ESG points for blackrock bux. as the industry has been dead for at least a decade.
You dont refute what I claim then resort to name calling (dumb) and divert attention by relating to other topics.
The major purpose of hollywood films is to get idiots to pay money to socially engineer themselves. This film is to program the 15-25 year old bracket like remember the Matrix film your older brother kept talking about well theres a new one! Woah this is so cool it was a movie within a movie my mind is fricking blown.
Young people who lack experience are easily influenced by films that project power, authority and status by being asscociated by things that are popular and influential.
Remember what happened to Blizzard entertainment? They are doing this across the board to piss off true fans of the product and engineering contrived opinions in the younger generations. There are a multitude of social and psychological factors they consider and none of it has to do with money since a lot of hollywood is a money laundering operation anyways.
Not sure, I heard from someone who has similar taste as me that it was perfectly fine as a fourth film in the franchise. Normally sequels don’t get better but the film can still be fun if you’re a big fan of the universe/story it has created. So you if you’re a Matrix nerd and enjoy the other sequels for what they are you’ll be getting more of the same. At least that’s the way understand it.
Matrix 4 boggles my mind. How do you create Cloud Atlas and not understand the epic potential of a matrix anthology? Instead you literally sabotage this entire world that you barely explored in 1 of your 3 movies.
probably has something to do with how they've always been pissed that some studio executive couldn't understand distributed computing and forced them to say the machines were using people as batteries.
nah, things like that are a tactic to slip other ideas by. executives are always going to search for problems to assert themselves over correcting (as that's literally their job) so you sprinkle some "problematic" themes/concepts around for them to hunt for and nix, so they won't go after the core of your movie.
but of course, they still went after the core of the movie because they're shit for brains.
keanu having the same look for everything is awful
i understand he looks like a old grandma if he is clean shaved but the john wick look doenst fit the matrix at all
The European Union?, the European Union still existed in 2274?
What is the timeline of the story? The war between humans and machines was in the late 1990s and by 1999 all humans were connected to the matrix? Morpheus thought the real year was 2199, 100 years since the humans were connected to the matrix but later The Architect said that each 100 years Zion was destroyed and that there had been 5 previous Ones. So this says that the real year was around 2699, 600 years after all humans were connected to the matrix in 1999.
According to the year that the humans thought they were in, the 4th movie is set in 2259, that's 60 years after the first trilogy that I think happens all in the same year (2199). How is the ship made in 2274 then?
Mnemosyne was a titan in greek mythology that represented memory.
You have no idea how bad this was. Me and my gf watched the trilogy and she wanted to watch the new one, so we watched like a half hour of it and had to shut it off.
Again, not meming or anything, this was fricking BAD. You will not be able to sit there for this entire movie and have to watch and listen to the """characters"""" in this """film""" it's insufferable.
>my brother thinks the first half was good and the second half garbage >I think the first half was garbage and the second half good
Who's in the wrong here?
The first movie is the only one actually come back to rewatch. Reloaded was just running on TNT every weekend for years and Revolutions I have not cared to rewatch even 1 time since I was a kid.
The action isn't good but that's been the case since Reloaded. Thematically, the 4th one resonates with me more than the sequels. It actually is nice to see that world go through changes that's also compounded by the real-life time between movie releases, and it ends on a much better note, even if it does so by taking us back to the position of the story from the end of the first movie.
As a matrix movie it is probably second to the original, but it was basically an insult to what moviegoers thought matrix movies were about (bullet time, cool action, fight sequences etc) so people just thought it was shit.
The first movie wasn't just about that shit. The first movie ends with Neo declaring the redpill manifesto to the machines, about how he's gonna wake the people up and show them a world without slavery. The sequels don't deliver on those themes in any meaningful way. Resurrections doesn't either, but it is marginally closer than whatever the frick was going on in those other 2.
Are you moronic the premise of the 2nd and 3rd movies is that so many people are waking up that the Machines have decided to dig down and destroy Zion. The entire premise is that once the One anomoly is discovered people start waking up, and the machines engage in their narcisisstic double bind ultimatum where they force the one to reset the matrix and rebuild zion.
The entire premise of the trilogy is really the oracle's story of how she is manipulating things while playing a dangerous game in order to stop the cycle of resets and destruction.
The Oracle is the program that created the anomoly in the first place but this time she also made smith part of it. That is the point of the story and it fits in with the theme that Neo and Smith are two sides of the same coin.
Could've done without so much of the tongue in cheek meta commentary, but it was better than Reloaded and Revolutions at least. The biggest problem with the sequels is that Neo being a god removes all tension.
no one dies in this movie, there are no real stakes at play here, everything happening is a song and a dance to make people go "YASSS NEO THE WUN + THE OTHER WUN WHO IS ALSO A WOMAN YASSS"
i'll admit, while watching it i thought "heh this is okay" but it had zero lasting impression on me or the world like the originals did.
Reloaded and Revolutions were the extra bits that the world clamored for after the matrix came out originally. very much like "pokemania" was for the first two generations of pokemon, it wasn't necessarily about how good it was, but rather that people just wanted more of it and the world it presented. that's why we got two sequels, a bunch of kino animated shorts from acclaimed animators, a bunch of games, etc.
people just dug the aesthetic, the atmosphere, the world, the idea, and it shook popular culture in various ways that are still being felt to this day.
the 4th matrix movie came out, people went "oh hey matrix nice" and then it fizzled out almost immediately after. no one remembers it, no one talks about it, no one's doing parodys of it on newgrounds, no ones making a new animatrix, no ones making new games. no one fricking cares now, and the older movies literally get more discussion than this new one does even after it's release.
>the 4th matrix movie came out, people went "oh hey matrix nice" and then it fizzled out almost immediately after.
Isn't that everything now? Some attention prostitutes took pictures of their cosplay at the stairway from Joker for like a week.
>Isn't that everything now?
unfortuantely, yeah kinda. i can't remember the last time something came out that took the world by storm. maybe frozen? but that was ten years ago pretty much.

a fourth matrix movie didn't need to exist at all, but the studio was going to make it no matter what, and would keep pumping them out forever at a quality level that would be insulting to the other three movies.
so larry stepped in and made something that would ensure the franchise never continued.
... by making something that was insulting to the other tree movies?
one insult vs continuous insults. as they were never going to bring back the special effects guys who made the first movie special.
2 and 3 are a quality level insulting to the first one. This just continued the trend of terrible sequels. It’s not some subversive masterpiece.
>ctrl+f
>matrix resurrections is a subversive masterpiece
huh. odd. no one said that. why would you say it?
At this point I'd probably take SOVLLE$$ over troony shit.
The way I feel about this film mirrors the way people feel about Reloaded and Revolutions, which I liked.
It was promising up to the hour mark, but when they start with the matrix shit it just falls apart. It's a 3/10.
Don't think they gave a frick while making this.
it was kino all the way thru, the final half is the punchline to the set up of the first half, you got filtered dawg
Best Matrix since the original. Loved it. Erendira Ibarra needs to sit on my face while wearing pic related
>introduces a bunch of potentially interesting characters
>does literally nothing with them
>doesn't even kill any of them off
lana just wanted to give her sens8 friends cushy jobs. none of these characters had any reason to exist
Oh god, her creamy thighs haunt me
No, and it’s clear the other troony was the brain behind what made the first great and the sequels okay. Hence why this is absolute dogshit.
did you miss the part where christina ricci explains to you that the movie was shit on purpose?
>nooo but it can't be le heckin shit on purpose and good because.... it just can't!!!
same arguments predditors use to "criticise" freddy got fingered
meant for
but I feel like u get my point homie
Doesn't explain why Keannanu came back. He doesn't need the money and he's got the Wick films to be dealing with. I doubt he's actually that close with the Wachowski sisters.
because Keanu likes being in movies?
I like having sex, that doesn't mean I rush to the nearest gloryhole or pick the 1st person with a wiener when I'm feeling horny.
Actually, given some of his movie choices I totally take that back. You're probably right anon.
No but it wasn't supposed to be. That was the point.
No xir it was not.
It would have been fine if it was a straight to Netflix movie, but its not and it sucked
it was straight to HBO max, moron
No - it was Old Keanu and lots of trannies.
The first three were kino; this one was fricking moronic.
>first thre were kino
Resurrections was better than Reloaded and Revolutions, chud
If they didn't have the budget for all the cool shit from the originals, then they should have gone in a wild direction, like doing post-Revolutions from Smith's POV. Here's a mock-up trailer
It was good if you don’t watch it as a means of entertainment and read between the lines.
It was a very good waste of money, gender shit and crazy Asian aside.
Unironically this and Space Jam 2 are going to be cult films like Alien 3 in the future.
It was the best movie of all time.
Not only it was good, it was the only good movie ever made
it sucked
>no Don Davis
It's shit
>no Lawrence Fishburne
>no Hugo Weaving
It was dead on arrival.
i liked it but it has problems
it's different enough from the others that it really solidifies what works and what doesn't for this franchise
Complete kino
It makes annoying people seethe like crazy so it's a 10/10 for me.
what even looks good about that? it has cash grab written all over it.
The first half is so good but making the fight scenes so bad in the second half was a step too far. If they'd kept everything the same but had passable fight scenes or maybe 0 zero fight scenes after they leave the matrix then it would be a great movie.
>That's Jude, you can't trust him
>movie ends and this awful cover blasts as the credits roll
I love that crazy troony.
the movie was never going to have serviceable/passable/good action because the studio was never going to shell out the money to hire the people that could make serviceable/passable/good action sequences or give anyone enough time to make serviceable/passable/good action sequences.
the movie had a near 200 million dollar budget supposedly
its been clear for a long time they aren't spending anything near the stated budget on actually making movies.
>but had passable fight scenes
Keanu can't into kung-fu anymore.
>entire movie is about them b***hing that they got work and got paid millions
this is such a poorgay take. after you've already been financially successful in your career, your motivations are concerned with the content of your work, not the paycheck. you wouldn't understand since you're poor
They could have just said no, it's not like they care about their work, otherwise they wouldn't have concluded it with that theme.
>a bunch of edgelord devote a year of their life to making a bad movie just to throw a jab at corporate studio culture
they did exactly what they wanted to do with your time
>boohoo they gave us work and paid us
Worst part is the studio released it anyway, making it clear it is not an even good critique, it is just them b***hing.
not releasing it, after they complied with every studio demand for what should be in it, and then some, would be the studio admitting fault.
You'd b***h too if you had the ability to direct Hollywood movies with some freedom.
Easily the 2nd best Matrix movie. Plebs got filtered.
it's a troll job, it's also more of "a matrix movie" than the 2 first sequels. Worth only watching once though. Matrix should've ended with animatrix.
> With the biggest example of this being the new Scream movie.
the whole point of the first Scream movie was making meta-commentary on slasher films.
No, it flies on the face of everything the original movies established.
neo was never the one. the oracle told him the truth. the bald kid was "the one."
>2022
>I am forgotten
Matrix 4 was the first movie I watched where the director actively kicked dirt in my face. It was such an unprovoked attack that I will never forgive her/him.
It's xhem, bigot.
it seemed like an snl skit
Like oh Black Widow from Avengers or Wolverine, well actually they're trannies now and they were always trannies but hiding it.
>demoralize
such a dumb meme.
the studios actively avoid competing with each other, meaning quality doesn't matter. they can't draw an audience large enough to justify any effort, so they inflate the budget, spending only a fraction of it on making the movie, and try to score some ESG points for blackrock bux. as the industry has been dead for at least a decade.
This post is glowing.
There are a multitude of social and psychological factors they consider and none of it has to do with money since a lot of hollywood is a money laundering operation anyways.
i told you the actual reason for the decline in quality of the output of the entertainment industry over the last couple decades.
another reason demoralization is a dumb maymay is who's being demoralized... if no one is watching?
This is not a "Freddy Got Fingered" situation.
probably has something to do with how they've always been pissed that some studio executive couldn't understand distributed computing and forced them to say the machines were using people as batteries.
It's more like they're still mad the studio blocked their troony gayenda in the 1999 movie by not making Switch actually switch sexes.
nah, things like that are a tactic to slip other ideas by. executives are always going to search for problems to assert themselves over correcting (as that's literally their job) so you sprinkle some "problematic" themes/concepts around for them to hunt for and nix, so they won't go after the core of your movie.
but of course, they still went after the core of the movie because they're shit for brains.
>Matrix 2 and 3 defense force
Actually bizarre
1 > 4 > 3 >>>>> 2
This but 2 and 3 are pretty interchangeable for me.
IT WAS A MASTERPIECE
it filtered the mids
fake matrix fans will NEVER understand
keanu having the same look for everything is awful
i understand he looks like a old grandma if he is clean shaved but the john wick look doenst fit the matrix at all
>Made in the EU.
I bet you all can't wait for the musical. Pic related is an official image.
Getting jiggy with it.
I could see what they were doing in the first half hour
>LOL IT'S SO META
But that got boring real fricking fast. Irony for irony sake is tedious
i make cum for she
You have no idea how bad this was.
Bugs should have been the new protagonist.
As in bunny
Noooo, it is software errors.
as in the fact the character and movie stinks
>my brother thinks the first half was good and the second half garbage
>I think the first half was garbage and the second half good
Who's in the wrong here?
You're both wrong because 100% of the movie was shit.
How the hell anyone can put 4 below 2 and 3 is insane to me.
It doesn't have the rewatchability or soundtrack of the original sequels.
The first movie is the only one actually come back to rewatch. Reloaded was just running on TNT every weekend for years and Revolutions I have not cared to rewatch even 1 time since I was a kid.
Everything about 4 is worse. Absolutely everything.
As a matrix movie it is probably second to the original, but it was basically an insult to what moviegoers thought matrix movies were about (bullet time, cool action, fight sequences etc) so people just thought it was shit.
>it was basically an insult to what moviegoers thought matrix movies were about
Then it wasn't "second to the first movie" now, was it?
That is the point of the story and it fits in with the theme that Neo and Smith are two sides of the same coin.
>but this time she also made smith part of it
why
I mean if popularity is your benchmark then sure I guess.
Reloaded and Revolutions had lasting impressions on you?
