    Would be 10/10 IF:
    No zombie baby
No shootout with a grandma vs gangaster over zombie baby
More mall exploration and fricking about inside the mall.

    With the flaws:
    8/10

fair but did you know that C.Js death is unironically held up as the perfect samurai death? The idea that through his death a samurai could save his followers is a very powerful one and the act of CJ is that essence of a pure death, or death as a poem or work of art, such as the death of CJ or Shimizu Muneharu.

      Both the victor

      and the vanquished are

      but drops of dew,

      but bolts of lightning

Thus should we view the world.

      Ouchi Yoshitaka

In drinking health in Okinawa on commemoration day CJ is the ONLY western character or person toasted and saluted every year as the example of death as a poem

CJ san is what is remembered.

        The Sharp-edged sword, unsheathed,

        cuts through the void.

        Within the raging fire

        a cool wind blows.

i just wish they'd do a zombie or horror movie without people doing extremely stupid things

Yeah I hated the stupid decisions in this movie. The dog part was just too much. That girl cared way too much about that fricking dog. Should have thrown her down as bait instead and saved the gun store bro

People do stupid shit in real life. Most of the characters are fairly logical considering their situation.
I don't know if American shopping centres have supermarkets in them like most in Australia do. If that were the case there would be enough canned and long life food to sustain a group of their size for years and there would be no reason to leave.

There's usually like a dollar store with snacks and such inside, and food quarts (tons of restaurants packed together)

          >food quarts
Yeah you can get quarts of beef, salad, fresh fruit, etc., in burger malls. It'd be comfy in a zombie scenario.

REMINDER THAT ZACK SNYDER HAD A CHANCE TO MAKE A SECOND (2nd) KINO ZOMBIE MOVIE, ALL HE HAD TO DO WAS NOT FRICK UP A SIMPLE PREMISE OF EXTRACTING LOOT FROM A VAULT SURROUNDED MY ZOMBIES BUT HE SOMEHOW FRICKED IT UP AND MADE IT FRICKING BORING AND I WILL NEVER REWATCH IT

the setting reminded me of deadrising 2, why did the movie have to be so fricking gay

The special features are more interesting than the movie which is way more interesting than the characters in the mall.

That's Tom Savini. He's an expert special effects artist that worked on all the horror movies. So they'd toss him a role on the screen too

I thought it was something to do with the story. Because I know he did the effects in almost every George Romero movie. He's a legend. And his Night of the living dead remake from the 90s is really good.
