Despite all the cartoony shit going on in this show, it was weirdly realistic in portraying how some women act.

Nobody has ever called this show sexist, why are you trying to drum up fake outrage? Are we really that bored?

The original? Yes, in the best way.
    The reboot? No idea.

Was this show ACTUALLY for girls? I remember there being barely any relationship drama stuff, boy talk was light and unobtrusive, shopping and fashion really didn't matter, the girls didn't feel particularly powerful or competent, just lucky with situational gadgets they could barely use right. Even if you don't buy into the fetish angle, most the show was light slapstick and watching the girls fumble around, even Sam, the serious one. I can't imagine this giving female viewers the same satisfaction as something like Kim Possible. It just seems like it's a show about silly cute girls getting over their heads.

Quite the opposite; it was the moat realistic portrayal of Hugh school girls in a cartoon (this and Kim Possible). The girls could be sweet and cute one moment and vapid, dumb bimbos the other and none of it ever felt out of character. And they were never scared of completing their missions and even at their bimboest they could always kick ass.

Again, before, like, Steven Universe; Totally Spies and Kim Possible were the most feminist cartoons ever made.

      >Boss is a man much older than themselves, very little implication of upward career momentum
      >Most women portrayed as being almost wholly fashionistas and/or boy-crazy
      >Most missions devolve into strange fetish territory

      It's truly anyone's guess

        >>Boss is a man much older than themselves, very little implication of upward career momentum
he is just a mentor, not mention he sometimes ended being a male damsel in distress

        >>Most women portrayed as being almost wholly fashionistas and/or boy-crazy
because that's how girls were before liberal carpet munchers started brainwashing zoomer girls, remember this was very early 2000's

        >>Most missions devolve into strange fetish territory
there were never fetish, just autistic homosexuals callin g fetish to anything odd
