That blind-eyed frickwit who calculated the size of the world to be much smaller than it actually was, despite the fact that the fricking Ancient Greeks were close to the mark thousands of years prior?

            Anonymous

The ancient Greeks used an imprecise unstandardized unit of length. Columbus took its value to be on the smaller end. The ancient estimate is only amazingly accurate if you retroactively choose the unit length that makes it so.

He just didn't want the added responsibility that came with it, if it was just fricking he'd be fine with it but this is specifically him picking a bride. It's a major plotpoint of the show where he does eventually hook up with this girl and marries her.

I never liked this show, it just feels like the "American High School" tropes clash a bit too hard with Kuzco's "Slacker young royale" persona and the humor wasn't on point like with the movie.

It was literally "Remember this joke from the movie? Here it is EVERY SINGLE EPISODE!", and it can't even decide if it's supposed to take place before or after the movie.

          Anonymous

After, and it's less "DUDE LAUGH AT THE REFERENCE" and more just going for formula. Like how Phineas and Ferb always plays out the same.

Yeah they definitely just wanted to milk movie fame while doing their own thing. Sort of like when they made a Ferris Bueller show. I remember liking it enough, but hell if I could tell you any memorable episodes.

      >this is specifically him picking a bride
now that you mention it it's kind of weird that the movie didn't do anything to resolve this point

        Anonymous

I mean if he did choose a bride at the end of the movie, he would've come off just as shallow despite progressing out of it. The only way to have that cake and eat it too would be to have gone with the original storyline where he had a love interest that was with him the whole time. Show eventually resolved it I guess.

It's more that he was just making excuses to not be tied down. Dude wanted to stay a bachelor a while longer.

That's the point; he's such a spoiled butthole he doesn't apprecaite how good he has it.

I like how they have different emotional reactions. The first one is surprised and tries to examine her own hair to see if it's really that bad, the second one is ashamed, one tries to murder him etc.

      >Movie: Kuzco is a spoiled brat who has everything in the world and thus doesn't appreciate anything
      >Cinemaphile: I DON'T GET IT WAS HE GAY

gee I dunno, It might have something to do with t he fact that he's a vain, self absorbed butthole at this point in the film. Why is every single cartoon gay so absolutely moronic.

He probably fricks a lot but he doesn't care about actually marrying anyone.

this, but friendless porn addicts immediately think hes gay, no way he hasnt fricked tons of girls already, hes the emperor. But this is choosing a bride to start a family, and he doesnt want real responsibility or deal with court politics since choosing one might anger the aristocratic family of another or something like that. Then again werent the Inca emperors polygamous?

Frick this. Kuzco's sensibility is nonexistent. The entire movie is about how dumb and self-centered he is, and it's not limited to peasant shit like when to walk in the woods. This motherfricker fires his evil vizier then, without so much as telling anyone, accepts an invitation to eat dinner with her. There's no goddamn way he was casually outmaneuvering every noble, governor, merchant, etc in his empire by making the politically tactical decision to appear capricious. Certainly not just to have a reason to reject the marriage offers.

By being a spoiled little brat? I haven't seen this film but he's the emperor of the incan empire and based on that the context seems like to me that nothing is ever good enough for him because he's been spoiled since he was very young.

Do stop me if I'm wrong about the character like I said I'm gleaning this all from clips and ads I vaguely remember from when this released.
