It certainly beats anything out of Fast and Furious. The fact that Reloaded was made in 2002 is kind of embarrassing to new movies with any kind of chase scenes.

i never understand why in driving scenes the cars are always honking as they pass. In real life no one is honking like that.. you wouldn't honk at a motorbike driving towards you on the opposite lane, they know what they're doing is wrong and a honk isn't going to help. In real life both hands are on the wheel trying to figure out the next step

It was pretty damn good. When they're flying against traffic on the bike I definitely got a rush of euphoria/danger like when you fall in a videogame. Really well done and the fact they built that whole highway was pretty awesome. Don't see as many practical effects these days. Part of why Mad Max Fury Road was so good.

    >The fight between Morpheus and the Agent
    >The Agent uses efficient punches and kicks like a machine
    >Morpheus uses improvised moves and unorthodox attacks to catch out the Agent
    >Part of the Agent fighting style is to tank hits to create openings for counter attacks
    >As soon as Morpheus gets the sword, the Agent dodges every swing
    >The Agent gets a technical victory from being the better fighter
    >Morpheus still wins by using an underhanded move, like a human would

The nuances were present and well respected. Any other choreographer would have had Morpheus win normally, but the guy they had understood that humans can't go toe to toe with Agents and devised a scene where Morpheus wins through luck and ingenuity.

It could be that the upgrades specifically tuned to countering Neo and are more like side-grades or even downgrades when it comes to fighting regular humans. Imagine it's like the cops finding out that the guy they're about to SWAT is decked out in heavy body armor so they load AP 5.56. It would be a straight downgrade when shooting at unarmored or lightly armored targets, but it's a necessity against this one guy.

Yes, the henchmen are watching old horror movies when Persephone comes in (something to clue the audience in), and she says the henchmen are notoriously hard to kill since no one would keep silver bullets in their guns (which she does have). Then shoots them.

Don Davis and Junkie XL and whatshisface that did Furious Angels are all music composters that should get credit for making the Matrix movies so memorable.

If we didn't get the soundtracks with the movies, I highly doubt they'd be as impressionable as they were. Part and parcel, etc.

I love the soundtracks, I basically have them all memorized and can play half of them on a synthesizer.
