    With no AC

Is this true? Do people in the UK, Germany, France, etc not have AC? How the frick is that even possible? How do they live in the summer time? Shit we have 100% ac units in all houses in the US, even in canada even.

are you fricking kidding me? I can look at the temps in European countries I just mentioned and its pretty damn hot. Shit i HATE the heat. Like I wish I could move to northern norway and be in year round ice cold temps. I dunno maybe its because all my ancestors are scandinavian I don't tolerate the heat very well at all. But I love the cold. My perfect temp is a fall day with a cold breeze and temp around 45-50 degrees and 0% humidity.

People sort of drudge through every year and try to do the usual things with fans and eating ice cream and drinking cold water and sleeping days and keeping curtains on during daytime. At least most offices have AC.

Its really a meme. An AC system in every new apartment would increase their cost by less than 1-2%. Its more of a cultural norm.

This can't be true, I'm looking it up on youtube right now to see if this is true that NO ONE has AC in Europe.

I live in the midwest and it routinely gets 100f+ during the summer. In small towns, ACs aren't common as most houses are hundred and fifty years old. Almost all new apartment buildings or suburbs have AC though

Right now the house I live in is ancient but I just use a bunch of window units so frick it. They are only like $150 each and 4 of them cool the entire 4bedroom house.

Like who lives in those downtown small cities where there is like 2 or 3 stories above stores. Like wtf is up there? I have never knew anyone or anything about what happens in the top levels of like 3-6 story building that have resturants or stores below them lol. I dunno

Yeah me too. It usually happens when I am riding as a passenger in the car. I'll just look at houses or big building if in the city and if they look interesting enough i have an urge and thought of "like who lives there? What does it look like inside.." I have it happen esepcially in big huge cities with like super nice condos and apartments, or ones that are in the most ridiculous area ever, like some apartment on street level right next to a bunch of foot traffic. I am like "who the frick would pay as much money as they are paying to live in that apartment?"

but yeah i do the same with out of the way houses in the middle of nowhere, i'm like "who lives there? What do they do for a living? Why did they decide to live in this ridiculous spot?" shit like that floods my mind when I am a passenger in a car, especially on a long distance trip.

Well think about the logistics of filming in a real life middle class apartment. They had to build sets for sitcoms like friends. But yeah if that was a real apartment, even during the 90s, it would've cost at least a million bucks.
