I really like Jake Peralta when he is serious & actually doing detective stuff in the early seasons. After a bit they are just Parks & Arrests. Halloween episodes get a pass
early seasons are kino for sure. what i struggle with is pinpointing where the dip begins. its a real frog-in-boiling-water situation, at the time i didnt even notice the quality going down and then before i knew it that awful shiny season was airing
ive not watched in a while but from what i remember the later seasons had a decent amount of cop shit still. i think the cut to 13 episode seasons definitely hurt the balance of episode "types" they could have
the first two halloweens are fantastic. after that theyre still decent, but not quite the same. honestly i think the "no one wins twice" gimmick was a mistake
I really liked Terry as a character, on paper he is a traditional "alpha male" stereotype, but everything he is comes from insecurity. He's a very well written character.
I nevee got it. The show is just pure r*ddit. Not even trying to be a dick, but it is literally normie and plebbit personified. I suspect peer/societial pressure is a big reason why its popular.
The reality is that a lot of people love that stuff cause it's fun. You cannot comprehend this because you're a jaded frick so you have to resort to mental gymnastics.
>The reality is that a lot of people love that stuff cause it's fun.
Is that supposed to be a covincing argument? Or even an argument at all? Um... great? >You cannot comprehend this because you're a jaded frick so you have to resort to mental gymnastics.
Baseless conjecture at best, insecure projection at worst.
Discount Office/Parks and Rec. It's not terrible and there are some really good episodes. Decent sitcom and nothing wrong with watching it but it is no way "kino"
It drops off a cliff in quality around the time Trump got elected.
Can't imagine why
kinda like Cinemaphile then
True
Santiago best girl
Captain Holt is one of the best characters in TV.
S1 was the peak
I like it.
Peraltiago a cute.
It quickly becomes a parody of itself and turns all the characters into cartoon characters, before that its good though

*final season
Idk know exactly when, but there was a point where they stopped doing cases and it just became a show about them.
ive not watched in a while but from what i remember the later seasons had a decent amount of cop shit still. i think the cut to 13 episode seasons definitely hurt the balance of episode "types" they could have
it gets annoying woke real fast after season one
Easily the best modern sitcom
Worth watching every episode just for Holt.
Holt let's his dog, Cheddar, outside to piss.
>>Let me know when you are finished, via bark.
Dude crushes it nearly every single time.
Even though the final seasons are awful, the scene where Holt teaches Terry to play the flute is still gold in my mind
I wish it had stayed more grounded and serious, became a cartoon by the end
the acab final season ruined the show for me
The finale is awful also
Name ONE good episode
the first two halloweens are fantastic. after that theyre still decent, but not quite the same. honestly i think the "no one wins twice" gimmick was a mistake
The halloween episodes turned the show into a cartoon show
It was cool when the Halloween episodes were the only "cartoony" episodes.

Be sure to stop watching before the George Floyd episodes. It hit unbelievably cringey lows.

No you are just an incel virgin
>cope: the post

Its way better than Parks and Rec
Not even close gay
The only gay is you
I watched every episode of B99 and didn't care about a single character. By s3 of P&R I liked almost every character. It's a much better show.
cringe
>t. me every time a character on Brooklyn 99 said anything
yeah this
not even a little bit
Unironically good
it has it's moments but jake really gets on my nerves. which fricking sucks because he's the main character.
