Also, Furiosa was doomed to fail for multiple reasons such as: a Mad Max film without mad max, prequel instead of a sequel to progress the story, 9 year gap between sequels. spinoffs rarely do better their main franchise counterpart except for a few exceptions, and people who got burned by bait and switch from Fury Road didn't show up for Furiosa. Then you've got the training the audience to wait for movies to come on streaming. Unless it's a big blockbuster movie, they sure aren't going to show up for something that could just be mediocre.
