She never became a jedi because she didn’t want too, she had her own interests and duties and simply never had the time to mediate with Luke for weeks to try and move a pile of rocks. People respected her not for some talent she was born with but for the actions she would do.

i really don't get the hate for reva. i didn't watch the show until i heard about that message ewan put out about the hate comments she was getting, then i watched it and thought her acting was fine. she's obviously going to defect / do something that ultimate has her killed by vader so i think her acting is actually correct so far.

the problem isn't the story as it is right now, its the length of the show. 6 episodes and thats it? (assuming 'limited series' means that's all we're getting), is not enough time to cover obi wan's exile years. i am enjoying the show though, but it does feel like we're just watching a movie and not an actual series (which was the original plan iirc) and maybe they should've stuck with that instead.

The same as Leia having a big adventure with Obi-Wan and then sending him a message in episode 4 saying "you served with my father in the clone wars"... instead of "hey Obi-Wan, it's me again"
they're saying because the message could have been intercepted she kept it vague rather than personal because she knew obi wan would understand. honestly not a bad explanation in comparison to some of the mental gymnastics people did with the sequel trilogy.

Yeah, it’s made clear in A New Hope that Vader and Obi-Wan haven’t seen each other since Revenge of the Sith, but I still would’ve enjoyed the fan fiction.

i would have paid to watch Obi-wan having PTSD dreams and dodge sand people ambushes for 6 hour long episodes. throw in awkward interactions with owen and other locals that think he's a weird grooming chaser, some fun with Jawa's and maybe even a few surprise visits or chats with dead jedi where they cry about how everything fell to shit.
