What about the motorcycle is enhanced by balls
Turning radius, terrain indifference, and the ability to blend in perfectly with a herd of harmonic buffalo.
It has infinitely less contact surface, is smoth as a F1 tire and rigid as mi wiener. Aint no way that stuff is better than regular wheels. Also what kind of fuel does it use?

Its not lik anybody came up with it before. if you look it up you will see that there is a prototype of it for cars, simmilar to the ones in I Robot
Sauce on Infinity Train being possible?
Are you the one who posted all those autistic questions in the other scavengers thread
yes
It's whole surface is possible contact where as shitty old tire has 100% material and 5% contact potential
Infinitely more stable
pee storage capacity off the charts
SPHERICAL!!
Underrated.
Haven’t watched episode 3 yet. Is that little shit Levi going to do something to frick her shit up or wow all of us with something good?
A small, insignificant price to pay….
Gott, I wish that Levi would just go
>What the frick do you want now, let me enjoy the pissmoss-induced sentience in peace
>frog commits cannibalism
that plot's getting a little 2edgy4me
AH THE FRENCH
Frogs do that. They're basically walking stomachs. Absolutely terrifying concept when scaled up.
I'm really liking the show so far, the animation's kinda rough sometimes but the designs and backgrounds are gorgeous. The music and sounds are also great
i just came to Cinemaphile to check for threads because so far i love this show, but this board is by far the worst on Cinemaphile.org
Clown nation has been brigading. Sad. One of the most beautifully animated shows in years and it gets overshadowed by Tumblr humor.
I actually like both shows but for some reason I only feel like discussing this one. Had fun with the clown but it's just this. Fun and some speculation. And Cinemaphile must have over-analysed it to hell by now. SR is a full series so it's longer and more complex and certainly more nuanced and it has more than one mystery, the whole planet is a mystery.
Though funny to think about how both cartoons are about characters waking up in a foreign and crazy world that exists in a waste space of nothing and the world drives some of the characters insane. Also, there might or might not be a way to ever leave again.
I like SR more because of the nature aspect. The world has existed without humans and would do just fine without them. Meanwhile, the digital aspect of ADC shows that everything is constructed. It has more claustrophobic vibes compared to SR's vast open world. It's also more interesting seeing the humans make do and brainstorm ways to escape rather than being outright told that escape is impossible and you'll go insane trying. It doesn't feel like it has a lot of potential as a series unless they discover some glitch or the world is bigger than they're letting on.
>It doesn't feel like it has a lot of potential as a series unless they discover some glitch or the world is bigger than they're letting on.
Yeah this is my main issue. The actual series might be different but judging from the pilot alone. That said, I loved .hack//Sign, but Sign had a lot more to go for, the reason for why feMC was trapped in the game was a mystery, the sleeping girl and the voice that pretended to be MC's dead mother was a mystery and the series itself was primarily a character drama about escapism and depression. It's similar with SR. There are so many mysteries here and on top of that it seems to be a character centered show especially with their pasts and the people they have lost and all the telepathy shit going on.
No that's Cinemaphile
what does that statement even mean? Did the staff work on Infinity train before or something? Good show though
so far the plot isn´t bad, but not breathtaking either. i feel its pretty transparent were everything will lead, but i guess thats just the fatigue of consuming too much media.
the animation has its moments, usually with the planet itself. the animation for the humans can be a bit rough. but very creative environment. didn´t have this on the radar and watched the 3 episodes in one go just now. really promising.
>i feel its pretty transparent were everything will lead, but i guess thats just the fatigue of consuming too much media.
Knowing where the story will go isn't that much of a detriment so long as it's entertaining enough. Right now only a few characters really stand out but the world is fun and I want to see more of how it works. The show is playing to their strengths, so long as nobody is outright unlikable then it's gonna be a good show.
kamen is unlikable but he's also been mindraped
Yeah so far I'm loving it. Shame it came out at a time when clussy is on everyone's minds
I doubt there would be much of an audience overlap between the shows anyway. The fact that it's on Max is probably why no one knows it exists.
Not enough shipbait so it'd never catch on.
the show has shipbait. The whole plot of one episode was to find the battery so they could power the shipbait which then managed to bait the ship Demeter to land
You cheeky fricker.
jolly good show
The world is very interesting, and I'm glad the writers have faith in their audience and let the visuals tell the story.
I've seen many media that botches their setting because they always have to have some person or thing dumping exposition all the time.
Of course, they can still frick it all up in the end, but the three episodes have me curious to see more.
>I've seen many media that botches their setting because they always have to have some person or thing dumping exposition all the time.
This is unironically my main reason for dropping most cartoons, anime and other media. If the show is made for an audience that stupid then it won't surprise you with any smart writing or unexpected reveals either.
compared to Infinity Train shitshow, I'm glad we have Scavengers Reign instead
I will kill a thousand Infinity Trains before I let shows like Scavenger's Reign die
>make a better white boy incel descent into madness than Infinity Train
>also a better selfish black chick lead
Nothing personal Owen
I want to see more food chains. This show is a fantastic showcase of fantasy ecosystems.
The introduction of humans as an invasive species also has some interesting implications
I almost wish one of the characters was a biologist who was interested in cataloguing the aliens outside of survival. Maybe we can get an artbook or something down the line.
That's what Ursula seems to be doing with what limited time and resources she has.
My guess is she's going to let curiosity take her too far and get her killed or worse.
Good point. Given how dependent the humans are on the wildlife as tools you'd think there'd be more value in her curiosity, at least insofar as it could be useful. It's a double-edged sword and I hope the narrative is more interesting than just outright having her punished for it. The way the planet is framed shows that the artists themselves are interested in the fauna, therefore it would be strange to have a character be punished for it. From a practical standpoint Sam's perspective is correct but I wonder if they'll go for something more nuanced.
The sequence with the birth and aging of that little alien was fantastic indeed. I cannot remember the last time I have seen an animated scene that felt so alien and emotional at the same time. Not even sure if "emotional" is the right term here, it wasn't actually sad or anything but it did something with me I cannot really describe.
Here is the original version of that part by the way:
?t=129
I stopped watching the pilot there. Will rather watch it at the end in case that it might contain some spoilers for future events.
Did it actually replace it? If so though I indeed prefer SR so far. IT was certainly better than most other cartoons that come out these days but it would probably only get worse after the second season and the only part I was genuinely interested in was the story of Amelia but since the creators are moronic we wouldn't have gotten this till the last season and they believed they could make eight or some shit.
>captcha YHWH YM
God literally approves.
Why can't we live in a world with both shows?
mega?
Thank you kindly.
The thing is, the human character has no reason to treat the robot character kindly. The human can talk about selling the robot for a bike because the robot character doesn't have emotions. On the other hand, the robot character is by design, loyal and helpful to the human character which are qualities that make it more endearing even if it's just programmed to be that way. The robot character also has an arc where the brain fungus makes it more appreciative of art and nature which is compelling. After the 3rd episode the robot seems to be getting the human to coexist with nature more, as rather than running away or attacking the stampede she's forced to go along with it, suggesting that the robot character's growth might enable the human to grow in the same way.
Unfortunately, it seems like it's setting up for an ending where the robot will become fully integrated to the alien world and will betray the human's interests.
The robot not betraying would be a great twist.
Maybe I am the only one but I like black girl. Maybe I am just autistic enough to consider asocial behavior somewhat relatable but I think she is mostly just secluded and having an issue with the bot. Partly because of the past, partly because it does its own thing when it really shouldn't, for being a bot. I guess it's a bit like getting mad at your PC if it wasn't working properly, but here with the additional threat of being killed if the robot should do some stupid thing at the wrong time. The stampede scene was the first time she tried to listen since there was no other way and it worked, so she will probably slowly get less bossy with the bot.
I wonder if we will ever see the people from their pasts again, assuming they are still alive. I am not sure about that, at least not regarding Kamen's wife. Though then again he talked about the project with her so it can't be long ago.
Thinking about it now it reminds me a bit of Solaris, at least the whole part where a character is seeing hallucinations of whom he's missing the most.
I don't dislike her. I already defended her behavior a little towards the robot but it's clear from the flashbacks that she's already kind of a loner to begin with. It's easier to judge them without actually experiencing what they're going through, obviously you're going to be more of an butthole when every day is a fight to survive.
Apparently we're getting 3 episodes every Thursday. Can't wait.
>Apparently we're getting 3 episodes every Thursday. Can't wait.
Well that's at least a release schedule I actually appreciate. Probably even better than the usual weekly episodes. Slowburns like this are more intense if you watch a few episodes at once every time. And I hate the unknown ETA shit netflix and others always pull.
When is the next episode coming out?
thursday i think
