>Rock did nothing wrong
The Rock singlehandedly derailed the DC Cinematic Universe because he was convinced he had the star power to carry the whole thing as an anti heroic Black Adam (A changed he forced by the way).
>literally couldnt accept he was cast as a Shazam villian and tried to force his way into the front of the DCEU and as the main antagonist for Superman
The Rocks presence in the DCEU set it back another 10 years
>Rock did nothing wrong
The Rock singlehandedly derailed the DC Cinematic Universe because he was convinced he had the star power to carry the whole thing as an anti heroic Black Adam (A changed he forced by the way).
It was already dead. They just tried to revive it using Rock and then it turned out that Black Adam isn't interesting!
The Rock wanted to go over clean. He probably would've got his way because as a Pat Patterson guy the Rock knows how to please the producers but the normies aren't chanting his name like it's the Attitude Era anymore.
No one is really interested in the Fawcett corner of DC. The main reason the movie happened is because Cereal Lord was the COO at the time and it was a further way to cement his shitty Shazfamily canon as The DC Canon, as was everything else he did (Aquaman, new 52 JL), etc. and a way for him to line his pockets.
>The Rock tries to turn Black Adam into basically his OC and tries to become the head of the DC movies >Black Adam movie proceeds to bomb >This leads DC to reboot the already dying DC film franchise with James Gunn now leading, who's Cinemaphile films are generally loved by audiences >This leads the Rock to return to his WWE roots and have an all-timer run playing the heel for the first time in forever >Rock might even reevaluate his "I'm always the good guy who never loses" clause as well
In the end, Black Adam being how it was was the best outcome might end up being the best outcome for everyone.
He was forced out of the company by his son-in-law and got outed as a /trash/ poster by the lawsuit over an intern he and his buddies shat on and had orgies with.
My god this feels like something out of the wolf of wall street. This is fricking hysterical

I hate myself for laughing, from what I understand it he did some pretty horrid stuff to his employees, but I can't help hearing these messages in his voice and it makes me laugh uncontrollably.

I knew I made the right choice coming to Cinemaphile today.
That and a lot more. Vince, like many boomers, is a degenerate.
Vince is a weird degenerate, but this probably feels fake and from /pw, Vince has many skeletons in his closet. He got Jimmy Snuka off of murder chargers. There were talks he raped a ref in the 90s.
Sometime before Mania Vince was basically ousted from the company entirely and is no longer a presence at all in the WWE. HHH has been primarily in charge of storylines for awhile now, and when Vince left he got full control over stories basically. He has his flaws, but everything feels a lot more coherent now, and the shows no longer have a senial old man either re-writing entire show scripts 20 minutes before going on the air or purposefully booking dogshit TV because he thinks its funny to frick with the crowds.
>Rock might even reevaluate his "I'm always the good guy who never loses" clause as well
Good - the Rock couldn't act if his life depended on it. Every single movie he's been in, he's been playing the same character - himself, but with extra shit to show how super special awesome he thinks he is. It was grating.
And he tried to take over the main event of Wrestlemania thinking he was still over with the crowd only to find out that people really really wanted Cody Rhodes to main event. He ended up getting booed when it looked like he was pushing Cody aside, who in kayfabe earned a main event Wrestlemania match by winning the Royal Rumble. The public outcry was so bad, it wound up forcing him and his stooges like Brian Gewirtz to pivot and let the main event play out like everyone wanted to since, surprise surprise, Cody Rhodes was a babyface people actually liked and wanted to see win.
Had Black Adam released about 10-12 years ago when the Rock was still at his peak and capeshit moves were huge, it probably would have been a huge hit. Thing is he's past his prime and his 15 minutes are long over, so no one gave a shit.
I like to think the switcharoo nature of Flashpoint rightfully put Shazam on Earth-5 and he's currently having an offscreen fight with Mr Mind and Sivanna's Legion of Monsters.
I've always wanted to get into WWE but never knew what path to follow. Do I just go back and watch it all in order in a long binge, or start from now and occasionally work my way back?
These Captain Marvel movies are so cringe like, has anyone ever read Captain Marvel? I know it was corny and like they never made it serious for whatever reason but it wasn't that kind of cringe like in those movies
The second movie being Doctor Sivana and Mr. Mind coming back from Doc "Liberating" that Alien planet and marriage to the Space Princess is the story we should have got. That ans Sivana Science Magic.
both turned out to be shitty people.
Rock did nothing wrong, and Levi's biggest crime is being a crybaby.

It had been derailed long before that. He tried to steer it his way and failed, but the reboot would have happened no matter what.
>literally couldnt accept he was cast as a Shazam villian and tried to force his way into the front of the DCEU and as the main antagonist for Superman

It was already dead. They just tried to revive it using Rock and then it turned out that Black Adam isn't interesting!
What did zach do wrong?
he’s a christian so therefore hitler
It had so much potential
Potential to suck
Replace Shazam with Superman and it'd be more accurate to what The Rock wanted lol
The Rock wanted to go over clean. He probably would've got his way because as a Pat Patterson guy the Rock knows how to please the producers but the normies aren't chanting his name like it's the Attitude Era anymore.
Dwayne would have done the job to Superman but it would have been a Dusty finish
That's why you weren't gonna see him versus Shazam he didn't realize he was heeling for midcard talent and didn't want to try and give him the rub
Dwaynetty is such a self mark.
The rock expected black Adam to be treated as the most important main character of all dc
Frick The Rock for this shit.
Gunn is going to reboot both characters for the DCU right?
No one is really interested in the Fawcett corner of DC. Why do they call him the Cereal Lord?
Good riddance
>sign up to play a character literally created for shazam
>refuse to be in a movie with shazam
Rock will burn in hell.
I just wanted to see a funny space worm, man
all the DCEU sequels proved they only had flukes at best
>they only had flukes at best
Damn.
>We were fricking spared.
>The Rock tries to turn Black Adam into basically his OC and tries to become the head of the DC movies

Hows Vince doing? I heard he shat on a WWE diva is he really never gonna show up again? How are the storylines treating his absence?
He was forced out of the company by his son-in-law and got outed as a /trash/ poster by the lawsuit over an intern he and his buddies shat on and had orgies with.
>that tweet
Did...did Vince write that?

the karmic effect of the Rock absolutely derailing the DCEU has been hilarious
guy has become such box office poison he came crawling back to the WWE

>that fake sip of mountain dew
jfc. they act like it's cyanide
I just want the actress who played Mary Marvel back I don't care about anything else
What the death of the DCEU really robbed us of.
Ben Affleck left it and Matt Reeves was on it way before Gunn entered play

Just start watching now. Most of what they aired during the 2010s is crap, so it's really only worth going back for the good stuff.
Thanks anon. Where can I catch it for free?
