We don't necessarily need to homage specific covers all the time, we just need to evoke the feel of that era. I think it would be better to find some cover galleries and study those.
If it helps, I kept thinking about Doom Patrol after a point while I was writing the Bullion scripts.
It felt like the appropriate level of strangeness with how things went once I got going with the plot.

If he has more flat hair (or Superman hair as prior discussed) then I'd recommend making the sunglasses smaller or with more defined rims.

I still have my outlines for the initial arc. I'm hoping to do it myself once I finish editing the Bullion scripts. (Last week was quite busy for me, though, so I haven't gotten started on #2 yet.)
I wonder if I2Eye and Don Darkness will be enemies. One is trying to muscle in on the other's turf.
KillFeed is a wild card, I don't think any grudge against JH will sway him enough to pass up ruining I2Eye, Don Darkness or Blue Moon if the opportunity presented itself. The villains are all enemies of each other as much they are towards the hero.

Not him, but I know there's still the last page to go (a page was added in during the inking process so that page is really 13, the next and final one is 14) and then touch ups and dialogue to add on the previous pages.

I'd often get bored of a page and move to the next without finishing the last. The art style also transformed wildly as I progressed. Here's the first page. I'm going to have to redraw some stuff to make everything flow a bit better. I was still trying to figure out the style as I moved through the comic.
I was initially trying to do a more classic 90s style (something Jim Lee-like), but I just couldn't do it.
I still like the dark shade lines.

Probably as Bullion and GGu effortlessly but as GG she can land on her feet but will probably lose balance and fall forward.
And somehow this will cause her to dodge a powerful strike.
I think that's sort of what's supposed to be happening in the last panel here but its hard to tell and may not count since it's going into a kick.
That looks more like a somersault or hand flip kick like she ran and used her hands to boost her kick. She has to be on the floor and spring up.

One of the plot ideas for the 90s GGu run.
There's a "drug cartel" distributing and selling super gum - gum that gives people super powers when they chew it, and only when they chew it (with some addictive substances mixed in). You only get one power, so even if you lose your gum and then get a new stick it will still be the same power as before.
I have a couple of plot ideas for it in getting it established and then using it for a Freaky Friday plot.
The emerging idea is that super gum would be one of the many projects Time Tiger is financing for his own nefarious ends.

how bad of an idea is it to make a coloured comic? does it really make your workload much more? also for some reason having it be grayscale is kinda scary to me because everything has to be perfect or else it looks like scribbles
Colour is a lot harder than colourless, for the obvious reason that colourless only needs to work with tone and contrast, while colour needs to work with actual colour choices and balance on top of those things. It's literally a whole extra layer of work. That doesn't mean grayscale can't look great - but it does so because of an artist working well within limitations..

hi on clip studio paint when i draw a curved line it has angles like it's not smooth. in photoshop i can draw perfectly without even stabilization though. how to fix this issue please?
Wish I could help but I only know misprint and paint tool Sai. You might have to go restart the program, turn off and on the pen program itself if it's anything like ones I had to do for sai
