Honestly this mindset by the Germans is both extremely unrealistic and a little disingenuous. A military is just a political tool, having one doesn't make you evil it's how you use it that counts. On the other hand deprioritizing your own military to the point where you look upon it with disgust guarantees that you'll either be dependent on other militaries or will at some point in the future be conquered. Not saying what the Nazis did wasn't bad but what modern Germans are doing is a dangerous overcorrection.
Also it doesn't help their case that they continue to support powers they claim to dislike by paying them their hard earned euros.
To be fair, Germany has started contributing their fair share to nato for the first time this year, and is mostly doing their part in terms of sanctions... Which would be pretty cool if it weren't for the fact that they've built a shit ton of their energy infrastructure around Russia in the last decade, which we tried over and over again to warn them about. Like, do what you want, but how are Germans going to piggyback off of our military budget all that time and then be like, "lol, we're our own country, and we're going to invest all this infrastructure in Russian oil, which will never come back to bite us." Within Europe, the notion of shared "Europeaness" is something that most of European nations only treat as platitudes, and our populations actively reject when it is pushed too hard.
I mean, the politicians that push for some United states of Europe tier shit and further EU integration legitimately get death threats and are not popular among the masses. The more that shit has been pushed, the more loud the calls for national uniqueness and separation from other European nations has become among the populist movements across Europe.
It's like how israelites will say they're white when they're being "self-deprecating" and denigrating white people and whiteness, but then say they're israeli and not white when it scores them oppression points and benefits.
People from European countries are proud citizens of their culturally distinct nation, until it suits them to use the banner of "European" to reinforce the idea that America is some kind of crazy outlier and imply that all of Europe is collectively better.
Also, the whole "We Europeans" or "in Europe we do this" statements are disingenuous as frick because like it is with cultural and linguistical distinctions, laws and societies also differ rather heavily in Europe.

I feel that there are bunch of liberals in Europe that hate USA not because of my reasons, but because it doesn't live up to the standards of muh human rights and liberalism they think it should. I am sure that we aren't alone. Western world is rapidly alienating tons of young people among it's population because it no longer can promise any sort of future that would even be equivalent in terms of living standards, let alone better, than what our parents had.

I truly believe that the implosion of America would lead to a war where the scale of violence and atrocities would make the two previous world wars pale in comparison, and much of that violence would be centered in Europe. I do not think that is a good fate for the European peoples.

Same for me. USA used to be the Chad of the whole fricking world. When I was a kid, everyone viewed USA as some kind of promised land and everyone would accept a chance to live there in a heartbeat, because everyone could see how better American lives were while we were barely scraping by after decades of communism.
Now that country got completely infested with israelites at the top that preach worship of Black folk while hordes of fugly Mexicans are getting in and the whole nation is fricking brown.
