Why did it become so shit? It seemed like season 4 was on the correct path but this last episode...
What the frick? I refuse to believe this is the same show.

Why are you still watching this shit past the trainwreck that was season 2?
Because I don't remember season 2 rofl
Couldn't care less about Hale2. What a shitty character.
Doloristina being an AI was an interesting twist.
William4(? 5? I don't even know anymore) taking the blackpill was stupid but I guess it ties with the corruption that infects the hosts after contact with deviant humans. Not that it a good idea anyways.
The host dominated world has so much to explore but they keep it contained within Hale's city and her laughably insecure tower.
Disappointing.
>Because I don't remember season 2 rofl
Best season of it
Frick it, the original William or a clone, he's still going to frick up shit even if we don't remember his objective. I'm gonna be honest I didn't think he would turn on hale in 2022. Bravo nolans brother
He's extremely misanthropic, nihilistic and psychopathic.
He really just wants to hunt and be hunted.
So he just turned the entire world into the game but now with real stakes: if you die, that's it.
Definitely not. There were actions that callback to possibilities in the reset, such as Bernard offering wine to Maeve in scene 1, not offering wine in scene 2 but Maeve saying a quip about how she'd like wine anyways.
Those are the kinds of changes that the simulation would go through.
>So he just turned the entire world into the game but now with real stakes: if you die, that's it.
Same stakes as season 1.
Yes. Why I said this season was going well but ruined itself.
BUT I guess this a grand meta narrative about how hostWilliam, is stuck in the ways of bioWill and humans will be what they are, even if they aren't humans anymore, same as the world itself will eventually just turn to violence again...?
It's a good but old idea but even if I'm right, it's sorely lacking in execution.
MiB and Hale are copies of other people and are susceptible to their loops/faults. MiB is only now becoming full Will and carrying out his goals. Prior that he was spending all his time in the city having dinners and trying to understand people the way Will used to do in the s1 flashbacks.
Bernard saw that to save humans almost all of humanity has to die off first, taking out the bad hosts with them. The good hosts are all safe in the sublime until Dolores can free them (she's the only one that has the key). Dolores shouldn't even be alive but that's another story.
It's basically going for a Matrix ending with sacrifices being made to prevent extinction.
>Caleb
This dude has a short shelf life and there aren't any more copies. I honestly hate the story of him and his daughter. They are the main reason this season has just been spinning its wheels. Bernard needed to dig up Maeve's carcass out in the desert, he only needed Ashley for that. Caleb's daughter serves no purpose and neither does he. Even Ashley made a good point in the most recent episode when he told Bernard that he waited 23 years for this bullshit.
His daughter is an obvious writer crutch to try and connect with the audiences that needed that emotional oomph but they forgot that whomever still is with the show at this point does not care about emotional stakes and is in it for the plot/ideas.
I am guessing that his daughter will be the motivation for Caleb to do something to make Bernard's simulation a reality.
Dolores internalized Wyatt and host Hale is a fusion of all of them, including Hale (and her disillusion with humanity after the events with her son). But mostly Dolores.
>Kiksuya
Frick is that?
Season 2 indian episode.
Why was it special? I don't remember.
amazing cinematography, Akecheta's awakening story which was excellent, the piece that was missing from Logan's story, and basically Akecheta's connection with Arnold, Maeve's daughter, Maeve and Ford. it was the best episode of the series.
I didn't even remember who Logan was. Had to google. lmao
They were never on the correct path, how far did you expect a tv show based off some shitty movie from fricking a hundred years ago to continue
Oh look at that. It's a westworld Chad. How fricking good is the recent episode. I told you ed Harris was gonna frick up tessa
This thread is fine if you're a black bird Chad or westworld
The frick is black bird?
Little mini-series with the Kingsman guy, pseudo-true crime. It's good.
GIANT ROBOTS WITH NO ARMS!?!?!
It's all just so fricking stupid.
Ahem
Not the robots we're talking about.
Oooh, those things. Yeah it's weird. I just figured they would be knocking everything down and using higher technology since they wouldn't need to make humans feel comfortable anymore. MiB was like frick that though so maybe it was a bad idea all around lol.
I'm not a gungay so this never got to me.
Hale is so fricking drunk on hate that she forgot what happens when you trip without arms to get back up.
Perfect organism
Fricking hell.
Why are there never gun nuts shooting at these spookies in their backyards?
So when William stabbed William, why did air pressure release from his chest? Humans don't do that, so I assumed that William was also a host.
My guess is that the suit isn't a real body. It was just there to simulate one for William's head?
That suit keeps him in suspended animation
That makes no sense... Why wouldn't his head need to be inside it?
His entire body is in a sealed glass chamber. The suit had lights running across it that probably keep track of his vitals.
Bahaha that was my first thought, they still haven't killed him. Ed must love westworld
Stopped on season 3. Can you give me a qrd of s4 so far?
I'll try. Not sure if it is correct 'cause I stopped caring after the third main character swap.
The humans won "the war" (that seemingly was fought by a handful of humans and a bunch of hosts) against Rehoboam.
Caleb has been BLACKED.com and is living with his wife and daughter. Cue in lots of trying to make you like the daughter.
William is back and he tried buying the company that has the sublime. CEO wasn't having none of it. William said the offer was only up for one day.
Dolores is now a redhead living in a city with a roomate. She works for a game company named Olympiad writing NPC storylines. There is a stalker trying to talk to her about some tower.
Hale is doing something I don't care to remember.
Maeve is living in the woods, isolated from everyone.
Bernard is still in the sublime.
These are the players so let's roll.
Maeve tries to access the network and see if Caleb is alive. She locates him but her processing power puts the electrical and internet grid on overload, fries the entire city's energy. Hale now knows where she is.
Hosts get to Caleb and almost kill him but Maeve saves the day. They need to take down Hale or she won't ever stop going after them.
William goes back to the company and sends some flies into the CEO's house. Like, thousands of flies.
WTF? Let me get to the point.
The flies are carrying a virus that Hale engineered. The virus can control human beings that were exposed to a certain ultrasonic tone.
Caleb and Maeve almost started a romance but the show simply forgot about this. Seems to be the excuse why Caleb got blacked; he wanted Maeve.
They invade some place where Hale is supposed to be but it all goes wrong and both Caleb and Hale die but this is a twist: Caleb has been reliving this night for the last 20+ years, which means that Caleb is now a host too.
Hale has been trying to break Caleb to see what hosts are lacking, 'cause when hosts come in contact with human that broke free homie I AM BAD QRD
Sounds mental. I think I'll watch it for the lulz
...'cause when hosts come in contact with human that broke free from the virus' control, they go haywire and start murdering humans.
Which humans you ask?
It's been 20+ years. The virus has spread through the entire world. Hale constructed a tower that beams the tone everywhere. She won. Every human is now basically a host under her control.
Bernard wakes up in this timeline. He was in the sublime using it's computational power to run simulations with every possible small permutation that could lead into Hale's defeat. He ran millions of these and all of them lead into his death and Hale's triumph, except one.
Ehh I don't feel like writing this anymore. Check this out https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Westworld_(season_4)#Episodes
Sounds like a plot from Marvel movie, oh wait!
You're giving Marvel way too much credit.
>He ran millions of these and all of them lead into his death and Hale's triumph, except one.
Lol, these homosexuals aren't even trying anymore.
Wait, so everyone's a fricking host now?
Prominent humans in this season are Peter the Stalker, Subway Hobo, Christina's Boss, Human William, Caleb's daughter and her resistance friends.
Humanity as a race is revealed to be enslaved by Hale, but nobody gets much spotlight.
Tessa the cute mulatto has upgraded and put humans on the same loop hosts were on in the park. Tessa really hates humans
Passage of time and they haven't really built any other human characters besides Caleb.
...What does this have to do with a Western style theme park?
Just like Jurassic Park they made the stupid mistake of trying to expand too far outside of it's scope, when you can tell a ton of stories without resorting to that.
This show got so forgettable the only things I remember are from season 1
I’m just waiting for the end of the finale and they’ll go back to Bernard dusty on the bed and he wakes up again. Cue Biggie Smalls “it was all a dream!’’ then cut to black
With Lisa Joy writing there is approx 49% chance that actually happens next weekend
It already happened this week.
Bernard and Maeve got killed by one of the mechs and there was a reset.
I thought that was the same scene, but switched to Burnie's pov?
Next episode Caleb and Ashley probably die while everyone is is all out war. Season 5 will then be another time jump with most of the hosts and humans dead. The endgame is to try to broker piece between the survivors and to rebuild the world.
they'll survive, but everyone else will die. human extinction event. Caleb, only a half-human himself will have to breed Frankie's gf, their kids will breed Frankie and slowly start replenishing the Earth with human stock.
this is what Bernard saw as a way out and why he sacrificed himself, to make sure those 3 would survive.
Would be the ultimate dilemma if hostCaleb had the capability to procreate with humans but only he and Caleb's daughter survived.
I was trying to be subtle, at some point they will have to consider it to improve the odds. there's an argument to be made by Caleb that he's not her actual dad..
just stop after season 1, the writers have no interesting ideas
Ed Harris shot at least 4 characters in the head in the new episode, it was sick
I restarted watching because I friend said s04 is good, but I can't remember shit. I had stopped on s02e07
I've seen every episode and no-one knows what the frick is going on. Clone ed harris will finish human will's job
>because I friend said s04 is good
It's not. The entire season seems to exist solely as a setup for season 5.
Look up some sort of S3 summary of Caleb on Youtube (tl;dr he's a human that got brainwashed by one of the two big AIs that turn out to manipulate and semi-hostify humans, basically imagine if Facebook and Weibo had two babies ), know that S3 has a big Dolores vs Maeve fight, know that Bernard goes into Dr. Strange calculation mode for a long time, and you covered 90% of all you need to know to go straight into S4.
Some androids just wanna watch the world burn.
5 years later i don't know if HBO wants me to care about machines
Why isn't the black girl from MI2 showing breasts in s02? She was always naked in S01
>stopped after s2 trying to understand fricking anything in this thread
It has been so long since I watched, so who is Hale? Is she just Wyatt or is it just deranged Dolores?
It became meh in season 2, and absolute dogshit in season 3. If you don't agree then you are artistically bankrupt.
You now remember that season 2 had
>Kiksuya
How can a show have something so good and then be so bad.
>Just now realizing it's shit
>guns
Who cares lamo
