I’m literally too young to have any recollection of any of these people as anything than middle aged/elderly people, I’m vaguely aware they used to be important in movies though, I guess

As someone who likes these 80s movies it felt really self indulgent and preachy. And most of them have disdain for their most popular works
every time i see this trailer it seems like they are just discussing the name "rat pack" rather than sharing stories. it's just "why didn't you like the name RAT PACK?" fricking lame premise
I was thinking the same thing. I guess it gets the point across about their misgivings about the period, but it really trivializes the subject and makes it seem like the critics were right about them.
Are there any essential BP movies? I've only seen The Breakfast Club.
St Elmo's Fire is the big brat pack movie but it's not very good as I recall.
Here's a list of all the movies they mentioned in the documentary.

>St Elmo's Fire is the big brat pack movie but it's not very good as I recall
Kek I know nothing about it other than the song. The song is a banger though.
The song is ten times better than the film.
reading reviews from zoomers is fricking hilarious
Basically any film which had John Hughes even remotely involved
they were a bunch of rich punks who needed their asses kicked
No Molly Ringwald, no deal.
>t. Molly addict.
Molly is in it
looks absolutely god awful
Gen Xers need to be gassed
trvke
>too young to have any recollection of any of these people
no shit, you'd have to have been a teen in the 80s
Ally Sheedy was hot in 2 (two) movies.
...it was just a goofy name for a group of actors.
Apatow Club biopic in 2030?
mmmmm, brats
ToT
of course the guy who is the lead of this documentary is the one guy that literally had no fricking career
makes sense
He's a director. Probably gets more work than all of them aside from Rob Lowe. Even Demi Moore hasn't been in much

Why the frick does no one on this board watch any movies???
They all starred in so many fricking movies, there's entire decade of movies with them, even if you dont try to focus on them in particular you'd inevitably see some just by sheer number of how many movies they've made
I've seen most of the brat pack movies
and they're mostly trash
Only Breakfast Club is good really
Maybe, but Breakfast Club is VERY good.
yes because that guy
wasn't in it
my favorite bratpack movie is the Young Guns duology.
except for judd nelson, he was pretty frickin harsh
this was great, watched the other day and I'm the same age as those fellas, so.
