>How will Barry escape the slammer?
meh, theyre way too clever for some pedestrian reddit shit like that, im thinking he gets some sort of deal with the prosecutors to go after the cartels or to go all special forces somewhere
i dont think there is anything concrete the law can use against barry. there is no confession or evidence its all circumstantial or hearsay that stems from fuches telling people he killed moss. fuches claiming to be the raven and knowing where moss's body was dont look good for him if gene is questioned.
it seems pretty likely fuches takes the fall and his arc ends with him actually enjoying prison. seeing as he had two opportunities to live a truly free live on the land with a beautiful woman and he keeps running from that it would be a fitting end to learn he actually feels at home in basically a complete opposite environment.
You know except for the armed home invasion and attempted murder they witnessed him in the act of. They’ll probably also find blood spatter at his house.
it's deff a bot right? like half the responses in the last thread read as bots. first time ive ever felt like a schizo and started to think like 70% of posters and threads are bots. anyways, the finale sucked balls. ill say it again, they portrayed cousineau well due to his israelite backstabbing behavior. only realistic thing this season
they use the same image in each thread's OP
they don't really talk about the show, except to say how good it was and that Season 4 will be interesting/ask what you think will happen in S4
there are no jokes or original content like you
would see in a general
You're right, botspam ruined Cinemaphile. If you suspect a spambot, report them. Of course reportan doesn't do much especially on a board like Cinemaphile
Naa i think that was the point, He knows Barry saved him and also is having the internal conflict of putting him down because he is clearly a crazy person. >"Youre not evil, " >walks away as fast as possible
former marine turned hitman is depressed. he follows a target to his acting classes and he likes what he sees, thinks it could be his way to do something with his life that isn't killing, and his boss doesn't like it. shenanigans ensue
Ok, now that the copy pasted summary that tells us nothing about the goal of the series has been posted, could anyone share something about the tone or themes it's going for?
Jesus fricking christ just fricking watch the goddamn show if you're interested. Spend literally half of an hour watching the first episode. Stop acting like your time is so important, you're on Cinemaphile right now.
Sorry, I've gotten impatient over the years as newbies began to drown out a lot of the serious discussion. Too many idiots have tried to claim all lengthy discussion is unfair criticism so they can repeat their morons memes like a broken record.
As for Barry, I wanted to know what anons thought about the more abstract aspects of the series because from what I know, it's Harder venting about the entertainment industry which could be insufferable as easily as it could be enjoyable.
dark comedy with a fish out of water type character.
hes an autist loner hitman that suddenly has to interact with a bunch of extrovert theatre guys, while getting caught up with the mob and having to keep his old life a secret.
That was a bit of a letdown. Hope Albert returns and gets a better payoff.
The scene itself is fine. We see that Barry isn't an emotionless super soldier but a traumatized frickup who is doing his best. We see that Albert lets him go, since he knows what Barry went through and perhaps he thinks "if it wasn't for me being shot/saved, Barry wouldn't be like this", and he repeats the S1 line "starting now". And of course we later see Barry jump straight into the old habits, seeing killing the father as a way out.
But it almost seemed too much work to bring Albert in to do that one scene.
Yeah, also i don't really get the "if it wasn;t for you, i wouldn't be here" thing. I don't recall Barry saving him at all. He just went ape shit when he got shot.
▶ >Next season will be Fuches and barry in prison together.
Thats what i was thinking, but only for a short time, an episode or two. Hader gets bored fast apparently
Maybe. I could see it going all season though, with a trial playing out and fuches going to testify and barry and him aligning with different prison gangs to try to kill each other, etc.
probably. fuches gets charged with moss's murder and confesses, becomes a bigshot in prison as the raven.
barry gets a few months for aggravated assault for pointing the gun at moss's dad and the first couple episodes are them in prison together.
Amazing display of white privilege when they give Barry a full minute, and 20 shouted instructions to put down the gun, without just blasting him instantly.
So I was watching with subs on and in the scene where Barry talks to Sally before she gets on the plane after Barry says "I love you" i'm fairly sure I heard her say "Love you too" but the subs said "Oh you do?"
"What did you guys hear?
my guess is that gene snitched on barry to the cops about killing the cop lady and the house was just a set-up to get him somewhere secluded to arrest him
Use of sound in the episode was amazing.
From the unseen Panther attack, to the homocide in the soundproof booth and more there was so much to love from a sound design perspective.
How will Barry escape the slammer?
timeskip or fuches takes the fall for everything somehow
its was great
>How will Barry escape the slammer?

>Barry and Hank go Army of Two
I could get down with that
He won't. He will be in prison and next season will deal with wrapping up the other characters stories. Ends with season 4.
I could see that. Him to doing improv in jail would be a good full circle.
"I was still under the effects of the poison."
"My friend told me he was a monster, so I just wanted to intimidate him."
"It was just a prank bro."
barry bot back at it
meds
fuches claimed to be the raven to that guard, that can be used against him

You got that right, amigo
You know except for the armed home invasion and attempted murder they witnessed him in the act of. They’ll probably also find blood spatter at his house.

it's the first image that pops up in google
this tard is calling barry threads shill threads when we have 300 star wars spams per hour?
You're right, botspam ruined Cinemaphile. If you suspect a spambot, report them. Of course reportan doesn't do much especially on a board like Cinemaphile
Are they making another season?
yes, though i have no idea how can they move forward
Pretty sure Bill Harder said this was the last season in an interview.
He's directing all of season 4.
felt like a filler season tbh
Can I get QRD on this show? I know nothing about it but thinking of watching. No big spoilers please
Naa i think that was the point, He knows Barry saved him and also is having the internal conflict of putting him down because he is clearly a crazy person.

Kek
aint reading that
>go back
I can't go back to Cinemaphile, there's nothing left unless I remove my filters
Goddamn, you either got bullied too much or not enough. Either way, shut up nerd.
dark comedy with a fish out of water type character.
hes an autist loner hitman that suddenly has to interact with a bunch of extrovert theatre guys, while getting caught up with the mob and having to keep his old life a secret.
its a dark comedy with a good balance of humor, drama and action. main themes are porbably redemption, overcoming past trauma/abuse, determinism
Don't think i hated it as much as everyone else but goddamn Albert confronting Barry felt underwhelming.
That was a bit of a letdown. Hope Albert returns and gets a better payoff.

Absolute banger of a finale. This show doesn't get enough attention.
Next season will be Fuches and barry in prison together.

was it a tiger?
I assume it was a Panther(of vengeance) to tie it in thematically with the rest of the season.
I like how Gene got the best of Barry through the power of acting
I want him n to win sobad but doubt they'll have the balls
Nah, he's fricked now.
Remember when this show had jokes in it?
Kek, after each take they say "we're making comedy"
the out of focus dancing guy genuinely spooked me. looks like the thing in annihilation.
such a great scene, was several really good ones last night
I’m too stupid. Is this him breaking up the family tree by getting rid of gene? Or am I overthinking it like an 8th grade in English class
Bill hader said that its just like "we got the guy! Sweet!" And then he goes into an empty house because it really doesnt fix anything
Ah makes sense now since it got really quite and was thinking he’s so lonely now. Doesn’t really fix bringing her back tho. Ty anon
Is he old enough to be her dad? I was surprised her dad was even alive when it came up.
I thought it was an alien
>AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Amazing display of white privilege when they give Barry a full minute, and 20 shouted instructions to put down the gun, without just blasting him instantly.
tbh too true
The actors sure were ACTING.
So I was watching with subs on and in the scene where Barry talks to Sally before she gets on the plane after Barry says "I love you" i'm fairly sure I heard her say "Love you too" but the subs said "Oh you do?"
"What did you guys hear?
>"Oh you do?"
that's what she said
Weird. I heard 'I love you too' but now I hear 'oh you do?' but her inflection doesn't make it sound like a question.
Apparently Hader himself said the line was 'I love you, too.'
madala effect
I remember it as "Scooby dooby doo."
I can't even hear it as "oh, you do?". The "t" in "too" is too prominent.
i can't hear "love" there on the other hand
Just checked.
Subs on HBO says "love you too".
no they don't
I heard "hashtag metoo"
How pozzed is this before I torrent it
That you feel the need ask means you'll find pozz whether it's there or not.
Well that really rattled the numales, guess I have my answer
All shows are pozzed dummy. Season 1 isn’t as pozzed as the following seasons. The show is entertaining enough not to annoy you
>How pozzed is this
don't bother. You're too moronic for it.
could you rephrase it? Cause i have no idea what you mean in this post.
gene put the gun in barry's hand and moss invited barry over, it's entrapment
doubt the gun is even loaded, last time he pulled the gun out it fell apart
It would be one hell of a risk to give him a loaded gun and send him into the house. What if he'd shot him as soon as he saw him?
there's no crime committed if it's unloaded
my guess is that gene snitched on barry to the cops about killing the cop lady and the house was just a set-up to get him somewhere secluded to arrest him
Bill Hader is a really good director
Yeah. He's just lousy at comedy. I would like to see him do an action film.
Use of sound in the episode was amazing.
From the unseen Panther attack, to the homocide in the soundproof booth and more there was so much to love from a sound design perspective.
