If Kimiko is one of the good guys and she kills powerless people who are in her way, people who have sons and daughters, then why should I inherit MM's hatred of Soldier Boy for killing powerless people in his way, people who have sons and daughters? If Hughie did even 10% of the violent misguided shit Kimiko did in the finale, he'd get called a toxic evil macho chud.
Why am I supposed to hate Soldier Boy if the whole point of Kimiko's story is that our past doesn't have to define us? And yet Soldier Boy being an butthole from the 50s who was a meanie to his team is apparently too evil to bear?
Stopping Soldier Boy while letting Homelander go is like killing wienerroaches in your pantry while a bear attacks your family in the next room. This episode made 0 sense.
