it's pretty dumb. just kinda wondered how bad sharon smelled in all that western garb sitting in the hot sun. must have been absolutely ripe between the knees.
Imagine being this stupid. Yes the best part of tombstone is when they are introducing the characters were they slyly tell the audience that all their wives are where's wink wink or when Wyatt tells the minor villan to "skin that smoke wagon" as we are then again introduced to the opera singers. You are absolutely correct sir the first part of the movie is superior.
2007 is better. >Charlie Prince, one of the most GOATed Western characters of all time >story works better with Dan as the hero and Wade as the butthole who slowly ends up respecting him and showing his humanity >ending is WAY better
Van Heflin's ugly mug ruins the tone of the movie, it makes no goddamn sense for Wade to be handsomer and more charming than Dan AND YOU FRICKING KNOW IT.

Absolute moronicness. It isn't a bad movie. If it was done today it would have a few tweaks and be a totally progressive take on a gunfighter. At the time, just like now, it's an un needed remake of better films with a woman.
It’s a shame this movie underperformed, even though it later became a cult hit on cable and home video. Sharon Stone is great as the lead and the supporting cast is fantastic. Maybe Raimi’s most underrated movie actually.
Good film. Two or three lines in the film that challenge the portrayal of female gunslingers like when Hackman says "ain't no rules say that a woman cant participate. It's just that women can't shoot for shit" but it's an understandable delivery and it's not like he's doing it to just ham himself up like a le evil white male you'd expect of today.
It's no Tombstone by a wide mile, but it's solid. Stories condenses enough, camera work is great, and the editing is fun. I'd say it's an example of how a female protagonist in a typical male role can be done well and not be trash.
The only ever semi-acceptable western film since it's probably the worst possible setting and guarantees garbage. Also the only ever semi-acceptable movie with dicaprio
The kind of filmmaking that holds you at a distance. Makes you painfully aware you are watching a film. It's like Raimi has some anxiety about genuinely attempted to engage the audience. Like he's afraid of looking gay or something.
Once Upon a Time in the West but with a chick
Jesus Christ never compare that kino to this shit show
It's an aggressively average movie. Which means it's shit tier
the fact that it stars a woman is enough to let you know it will be average
The same kind of love and reverence that Raimi showed superhero films in Spider-Man except with western cowboy movies.
Was it rape? The entire movie I was certain that would be the twist for her backstory. Every scene between her and the villain was EXTREMELY loaded.
No she just had a woman moment
>What am I in for?
Shounen anime tournament arc with cowboys
That is a great comparison.
Im interested now
A waste of Gene Hackman, Leo, Russell Crowe on a strong wyman film
cringe take

like licking the back of your hand and wet leather
and a hefty note of old sulfur
absolutely delicious
absolute kinography
>quick and the dead
>no tombstone
either bait or fricking braindead
tombstone is mid
>absolutely filtered
many such cases
nah it's just not kino, simple as. could be if russell gets off his fat ass and fixes that shit with a director's cut
Tombstone starts out great but it really falls apart in the second half. Way too much story for one movie to handle.

Tombstone is only good for Kilmer who knocked it out of the park. The rest of the movie can't keep up and suffers.
>No Tombstone
>No 3:10 to Yuma
>The Quick and the Death added
You are a homosexual and i hope you get monkeypox
surely you mean the 1957 3:10 to yuma and not the 2007 one
you wouldn't double down on mid, r-right anon?
>mid
speak human you worthless fricking ape
What the frick is this from? I watched every goddamn Harryhausen movie I could find specifically to find the source of this webm and never saw breasts
Both the 1957 and the 2007 one are good.
>Russell Crowe
>Christian Bale
Hell even Bud Spencer was in the 2007 one. How the frick can anyone complain about that movie? It was western kino in it's purest form
the absolute state
You have a Black person tier taste in movies. Frick you soiboy
Van Heflin's ugly mug ruins the tone of the movie, it makes no goddamn sense for Wade to be handsomer and more charming than Dan AND YOU FRICKING KNOW IT.

You're in for a western kino
A pretty decent western.
>when you take that extra bong hit of 100x salvia

Kino
I don't wanna die... I don't wanna die!
I know.
Raimi kino. Fun western with a great score, simple premise and fun characters. Also introduced Russel Crowe to American audiences.
It's ok
Motion sickness
I mean how bad can a raimi film truly be
>Sergeant Cantrell
>How do you spell that?
>Correctly

have a nice day my man
Pisses me off that Russell Crowe doesn't get top billing
The most obnoxious camerawork you have ever experienced. This is coming from a guy that love Uturn by Oliver Stone.
Holy filtered.

4/10 by today's standards.
Is the movie with that famous scene where the camera has bullet POV and you see Hackman scream before the bullet hits him?
for me, it's the extended cut of (pic related)
