In my headcanon, the girls and their ballet teacher head back to Las Vegas after they graduate high school and they enter the prestigious Henderson Topless Vegas Showgirl Academy
Scrubs is a pretty good background show. Frasier, Cheers, Seinfeld, and Becker are pretty good sitting on the couch late at night in your robe shows.

I don't doubt HIMYM is a good show and probably really funny at times, but after I hit my mid 20's I just couldn't stand watching sitcoms with laughtracks or live studio audiences. Some jokes that I don't find funny still gets laughs in the show and it felt like the shows were trying to tell me "this was funny, you should laugh". The ones I did like before were older ones like Spin City, Just Shoot Me, Dharma and Greg. Even some from before my time like Bewitched and Gilligan's Island. Surprisingly the show that made me have this revelation was 2 and a half men, and even then I only stuck around with it because it had hot babes in it, not because it was actually funny.
I never liked friends, and never watched HIMYM or big bang theory because the laugh tracks just became intolerable to me. Idk, I guess I just outgrew those types of sitcoms.

This is the same argument I've heard from anti-laugh track people multiple times.
But looking at the non laugh track sitcoms like the Office we have Jim mugging the camera which is an indication for the audience to laugh. Or other characters giving the side eye or making goofy faces.
Then we have shows like B99 or superstore where the characters literally repeat the joke out loud after the gag is performed.
B99 is a bigger offender since Jake repeats the joke AND mugs the camera.
Laugh tracks are comfy when used appropriately however it's taken a massive hit with garbage like 2 broke girls inserting it every 5 seconds or even the moronic audience from TBBT laughing for no reason

I was on set during the last season. NPH is legitimately one the nicest people I have ever met. A lot of actors turn their noses up at the production crew, but he was very friendly and not patronizing at all. Ate from the same food cart as the rest of us, even. Waited in line with us. Alyson Hannigan was hardcore in "star mode"
