Did the qt on the left really fuck the hot dad of the qt on the right?
Most shows have shitty finales, especially long running shows
>Most shows have shitty finales, especially long running shows
‘The Americans’ wasn’t bad.
‘Life’ the show starring Damian Lewis had a decent ending, despite the issues as the show went along.
Banshee ended the right way.
The Leftovers finale is only shitty if you think Nora is telling the truth.
wait. She's telling the truth and I loved the finale.
>She's telling the truth and I loved the finale.
She chickened out and never went through the device, she just makes up an "answer" for Kevin so they can both finally accept and live in the world they have. When I watched it the first time I was a bit annoyed at such a literal ending, but then I realised they never actually show the other side for a reason, it's meant to be ambiguous and you can believe whichever interpretation you want. I think it's better if she lied.
Obviously it was meant to be ambiguous, what I meant is I like to believe she was telling the truth and I liked the finale. My point is, why would she lie at that point? I mean, considering the character; ok, one could say she convinced herself to cope, but still...
I think she said what she said for Kevin's sake, as a way of saying that she wanted to live in this world with him. "I went to the other side and saw my kids like I always wanted to, but then I came back and I'm here now." Also if you take it literally Nora invented a bridge between worlds that could reunite everyone with the people they lost and then told no one about it.
Ok, I get your point. Sorry if I take it a step back, but why would people say that's a bad finale? is that some sort of bait? Sorry if I am sounding naive, I know where we are. I felt it was perfect, emotional, in tone with the story, not rushed, not overdone. Don't tell me people expected "answers"... I mean, I hate Lindelof I hope he dies today after suffering, a lot, but Leftovers finale was damn good. On top of that the acting was simply great and I am a contrarian as your typical Cinemaphilener, but I can't really find a reason to hate it.
>Sorry if I take it a step back, but why would people say that's a bad finale?
Maybe they thought Nora was telling the truth and that it was too obvious an answer.
>I hate Lindelof I hope he dies today after suffering, a lot
Why? Did you write this sentence just to fit in? It doesn't fit your overall writing style.
And
I don't think the finale is the problem.
Servant had its finale yesterday and a lot of the fans were triggered because they had come up with these elaborate theories about continuity errors being clues to the show having alternate timelines when it was actually just them being schizo.
Battlestar Galatica
Queer as Folk
Russell T. Davies needs a friend who can write endings
Seinfeld
Breaking bad
Monk
Game of Thrones
Sons of Anarchy
I keep changing my mind on whether Sopranos was shit or good
Dexter
>I keep changing my mind on whether Sopranos was shit or good
the show or the finale?
Has to be the finale.
Finale, obviously
Would have been better if Lori did kill herself scuba diving like the selfish coward she was.
>finale's
Shut up.
