were talks about the final battle between the Avengers and Thanos being live streamed to explain how people know so much about it.
This is moronic, and I wish it made it in. I want to see the fight for the fate of the universe accompanied by dumb Twitch comments and emote spam
Sure woulda been lucky none of those streams captured Peter Parker unmasking multiple times
Also Clint as Ronin.
Or old man Steve afterwards.
>Twitch chat spamming OMEGALUL when Thanos says "I don't even know who you are" to Wanda
>Carol gets punched out of the movie
Chat spams YEET and the TotalBiscuit laughing emoji
I remember reading that it was suggested so the Earth at large would have on camera proof of the Avengers protecting the world and justifying their hero reputation.
There was a point, even it was a little ridiculous.
I mean, somehow even plebs know about Dr. Strange giving up his stone to Thanos on Titan, news must work weird in that universe
That scene in MoM implied that he didnt know the specifics of strange giving up the stone but the fact that he knew strange well enough to know that there must've been another way but strange chose that one because it was the timeline where he'd survive
>he knew strange well enough to know that there must've been another way
Why not just assume the avengers weren't strong enough to stop Thanos the first time, but somehow "lucked" into bringing everyone back 5 years later? Strange being able to look into and pick alt timelines also seems like it'd be insider knowledge
Yeah, it was pretty forced for some rando to presume such thing(without being goddamn clairvoyant). I guess the writer just wanted someone to blame strange for the snap but it was a dumb ass way of doing it
Earth watched the avengers fight in 3 movies
>Cap picks up Mjolnir
>POG POG POG POG POG POG
not gonna lie, fake screenshots of people in-universe going chimp mode the way people do in cinemas would be kinda funny in a niche way
>iron man dies
>chat is just spammed with F
Where are all the snap truthers? No way there aren't any grifters selling conspiracy theorists what they wanna hear
"half the population didn't get snapped away and here's why"
They're too busy writting graffiti on urinals and selling merch
It's weird how Thanos became a brand with mugs and even an Asguardian ice cream shop, it'd be like Hitler merchandise being sold to kids.
He was like an ultra super-Hitler but I guess being a weird space alien using literal magic to kill people provides enough degrees of separation
Considering the amount of people that died and had their lives ruined from the snap, seeing all the products from that war would be like having 9/11 themed happy meals with a holocaust toy.
People in marvel really REALLY want the person who pushed population control for muh resources and muh overpopulation to be seen as hood and noble.
Oh an unrelated note have you seen the latest news on gates. His new vaccine thar sterilizes people was patented last week
The probably are, but they wouldn't deny it happened. Everyone either got snapped or saw someone get snapped, and there's footage of it, as shown in FFH.
Instead, they would say Thanos wasn't real, and that it was a front for something else, like a false flag to form a Globalist government, an accident with a secret weapon the US military was developing, the rapture or some other religious prophecy fulfilled, etc. And we know others think Thanos was right, and so on.
>the final battle between the Avengers and Thanos being live streamed to explain how people know so much about it
Man, that captain marvel is so cool. Did you see how thanos knocked her the frick out of orbit like that? So cool!
were talks about Kamala being Inhuman before the writers decided to make her the MCU’s first mutant.
Why do this when Namor is right there
>first mutant
So they are just gonna stick with wanda and quick silver being super experiments and make ms marvel the "first mutant" as it'll take another 4 years minimum to get a mutant/xmen movie. Disney really thinks that name dropping this shit will excite people for that long?
That's all nice and dandy but they could've done that with Namor
Has to be a woman
Ideally, Namor wouldve been a good way to introduce mutants but they were just so desperate to make people give even half a frick about ms.marvel that they shoehorned the mutant card in there. If i recall correctly, didnt they tease mutatations in ant man 2 with the wasp's mother as well? This is pretty much just another bingo spot for "another MCU show teases mutants out of desperation".
>but they were just so desperate to make people give even half a frick about ms.marvel that they shoehorned the mutant card in there.
Oh man if only if they made her an inhuman
>hey Kamala it's me, your friend who has a crush on you but I will string along side you and do you favors until you turn me down. Anyway, since I'm a nerd that mean that I'm also pretty much a geneticist that knows how to look up dna like a pro and tell you that you're a mutant
They want people to forget about that inhuman show even more than the shittier Netflix shows and agents of shield.they kill two bird by making her a mutant. Tease the fools that still have hope for the xmen and distance her from the inhumans
>Anyway, since I'm a nerd that mean that I'm also pretty much a geneticist that knows how to look up dna like a pro and tell you that you're a mutant
Oh god please tell me that's now how it happened
you can do a dna test on ancestry.com for a modest fee, all Bruno said was that it didn't match her family who also had Clandestine DNA, and called it a mutation
Yeah but like was the much more likely "Hey your parents aren't your real parents" not a possibility?
>The Pakistani girl is a mutant
What did they mean by this?
Kamala' creators originally wanted her to be mutant to begin with but editors forced them to make her an Inhuman because marvel was butthurt over Fox having the rights to X-Men at the time so they didn't want any new media including them
If that's the case then they shouldn't have had Professor X and Black Bolt in MoM. Black Bolt received a positive reception overall.
ProfX was the laziest form of fanservice and only existed as trailer bait for the content creators to create endless theories that would never happen.
Black bolt is there to fill a seat and is a charity case. He may have gotten a positive reception but he's still as much of a joke as dumb sphagetti Reed Richards
Why did they decide to show Wanda is so powerful she can murder anyone she likes without effort but the people actually standing between her and her goal get a free pass?
Shitty writing. The cameo heroes only exist to unceremoniously die in comedic fashion. The protagonist who are vastly weaker put up more of a struggle because them dying would be the end of the show...some. justify that strange and co were on the run and werent trying to fight back but that doesnt stop reality warping dark hold wanda from just making them instantly explode or some shit like that
To be fair, comics plots usually revolve around characters forgetting their powers. Wanda and Billy are up there with other heavy hitters who have to suffer constant amnesia because otherwise they'd end every non-god-level threat on page 5.
Professor X could have been used to visually show Chthon's manipulations.
But that would have requires a director and writer with visual literacy and imagination, which MoM did not have.
??? Wasn't that this?
No.
Just ooga booga ebul wanda
>They want people to forget about that inhuman show even more than the shittier Netflix shows and agents of shield.they kill two bird by making her a mutant.
Nah it's just to have some superficial connection and bait the obnoxious xgays that maybe, someday, the xmen will be focused on again. Anyways, the mutant shit was dumb, and this show did nothing to make people forget the netflix shows or AoS. It was very clear the mutant change was last minute, and incongruous with what we saw before
>This is pretty much just another bingo spot for "another MCU show teases mutants out of desperation".
Marvel has turned blueballing the fans into an art.
>Give people jam today and they’ll just sit and eat it. Jam tomorrow, now—that’ll keep them going forever.
Namor is still the first mutant to exist in-universe, Kamala is just the first mutant character to appear in an MCU film or series.
>Namor is still the first mutant to exist in-universe
Let's be real. We don't know that Namor will be a mutant in Wakanda Forever
Insiders say he is.
probably is, but they probably won't bring it up in the film
>Maitreyi
She's best known for playing a perpetually horny turbobawd in a Netflix teen romcom. Iman is pure and a fangirl like Kamala. Everything else would have been cool.
>Maitreyi Ramakrishnan
From a quick glance she looks a bit more like the illustrations of Kamala in the comics, but both were fine choices for the role.
>Maitreyi Ramakrishnan was considered for Kamala before Iman Vellani was cast.
she looks so much better
>Captain Marvel would originally have a big role, but the writers decided that including a veteran superhero would detract from Kamala Khan’s journey.
Fricking finally for once fricking gets it. Kamala becoming perpetual intern Avenger is worse than being racist or sexist, it assassinates the character. And I am not even joking, by assassinating her they unwittingly make her unappealing to absolutely anyone, not just would-be racists and sexists.
God she sticks out like a sore thumb, doesn't she?
Not particularly, the game is so bad that it's hard to stand out as something particularly bad in a bad game. She's just one bad part of a bad a game, but even then she gets some terrible moments.
Oh yeah, the game had so many problems that Kamala wasn't anywhere close to the reason it failed
God all that wasted money and effort. People have been executed for less
>MCU learn from spidermen movies mistakes and make peter be stark's intern because spiderman cant carry a movie alone, especially Holland spider...but at the cost of losing spidermans identity
>same mcu believe that motherfricking Kamala can do what spiderman cant and carry her show alone and it's more of CW style drama. She has her identity(for now until she interns in the marvels) but it's still a boring identity
How is Peter Parker a Stark intern? He was only there for few minutes. Plus its how he was intro into Civil War
Ramakrishnan was considered for Kamala before Iman Vellani was cast.
The shitstorm of casting someone of Indian origin instead of Pakistani origin would have been glorious
I thought the partition was totally arbitrary
>Maitreyi Ramakrishnan
Definitely looks more the part
Not really. She's more Tamil than anything else
So, was actually adapting her powers ever on the table?
The show would have been way better if they completely ditched the Noor storyline (and moved it to a movie or second season) and had the story stuck to just being a slice of life teen comedy with superheroes.
It kind of feels like it was meant to be that way too, since it's resolved in the penultimate episode and the actual finale is a more low-stakes conflict about Kamala's friends and family defending her and her boyfriend against Damage Control, but Marvel forced it in to setup the upcoming Captain Marvel sequel.
I like Iman in the role, but most of you forgot the real fault of this series. The 6 episode format
The first 3 episodes were great, but the final 3 clearly meant to be more. Perhaps a 10 or 12 episodes would have given this series some room to breath. Or at least expand the running time so more stuff can be added. The 6 episode format did not help this series
Also, they should have kept Kamala as an Inhuman because Namor is there & he would have been the first mutant in the MCU canon
Carol Danvers wouldn't really help her. Especially since she's in space, which considering Kamala is in space would have been the plot for The Marvels
Once again, 6 episode format needs to end. Just let these series build their own stories the right way without feeling constricted. WandaVision did 9 episodes. They should do 9 or 10 episodes instead of 6
The mutant thing feels like a reshoot addition it just doesn't track with the series. It make a lot of shit pointless or questionable.
>needing the bangle to activate the x-gene
>The bangle has no connection to her powers and yet somehow also only does its dimension/time travel bullshit when she has it on
>the scene about her powers being due to her hybrid nature was a lie
>gained nothing from being part clan destine
>Kamran has identical powers gained through a different method for no reason
>Captain Marvel would originally have a big role, but the writers decided that including a veteran superhero would detract from Kamala Khan’s journey.
They didn't think that with fricking Spider-Man
>Early drafts feature Kamala visiting the Noor Dimension rather than travelling back in time to the Partition of India
Well ofcourse all Pakisant cast will love to go there and make themselves are good guys.
>Maitreyi Ramakrishnan was considered for Kamala before Iman Vellani was cast
Good . There will be blow-back if Indian hindu was cast for pakistani muslim role. Vice versa is ok though. Indians are Cucks.
Indians are always cucks, which is why it was funny to see the reaction on twitter
>Maitreyi Ramakrishnan was considered for Kamala
I wonder why this didn't work out?
Because they want chunky 4/10 off white probably gay chicks.
She's not a nerd & not adorable. Iman however is.
i got tired of the whole partition thing. i stopped watching around ep 4. frick that noise.
>There were talks about Kamala being Inhuman before the writers decided to make her the MCU’s first mutant.
>MCU’s first mutant.
what the actual frick
