Possibly his best movie. The setting in old Hollywood gives his usual references and homages the poignancy that was lacking from his previous movies. I also like that in this case the revenge fantasy seemed to be used to also save something beautiful (sharon tate) rather than just indulging in the destruction of the perpetrators, but this may depend on the fact that I have no simpathy for either israelites or Black folk so inglorious bastards and django just fell flat for me

My actual thoughts on the movie are weirdly similar to . Taran-meme-o movies usually irritate the hell out of me. They're spastic and referential for the sake of being referential. But this one just works. I do think the Old Hollywood setting is really the main attraction here.
