I think the worldwide success of the Black Panther shows there's an audience for African fantasy and culture. A lot of art and musical inspiration was taken from already existing cultures and tribes and it made the movie great.

I'm mixed and when my dad arrived in the netherlands in the 1960s everybody would stare at him because nobody was used to seeing someone that looked like him. Babies would cry when they saw him. This was about 10 years before black migration to netherlands had even really begun. That's how recent this change has been.
