Nah you're not the only one. I was a staunch defender of the show as a kid online, mostly because the discourse surrounding it on ToonZone and YouTube was so fricking moronic. Autists couldn't handle ONE show on the schedule that was visually unconventional, they though it was like cartoon antichrist.
I remember those same people also hating Secret Mountain Fort Awesome and Uncle Grandpa, which I thought were both hilarious. Especially SMFA, that show had me laughing hard which Regular Show and Adventure Time never really did.

I genuinely believe that the backlash against Problem Solverz and Browngardt's shows is what led them to start spamming Teen Titans Go! and boring beanmouth shows. If those shows had been received more warmly, we'd have the teen-oriented Cartoon Network block of my dreams with cool experimental shit, but alas
God, I feel like I'm finally allowed to speak on this. I unironically loved the unconventional way the show looked too. The weird pixelated backgrounds along with just how fricking weird everything is just drew me in.

I think Neon Knome is pretty great and would've been better than the show we ultimately got. Just them fricking around in their crazy Web 1.0 universe instead of having forced aesops would be neat although I kind of liked Problem Solverz too
